Cross RC GC4 Build Update & Thoughts

So for this video I wanted to make a quick update in where you can see a roller come to life. I have yet to install an ESC or Battery because that will sit in the wooden box that is included for the back of the body. Hope you guys enjoy this small update and more to come. I will also try and unbox something for you guys in the next week, stay tuned for that.

Cool build I’m building the PG4L right now and its very good quality instructions are good but i found i must take my time and test fit each part then assemble but not tighten until everything was in its proper position then when I tightened all bolts everything tightened up tight as a drum and chassis became very rigid. Tolerances on these kits is right on. I’ll be following your build good luck!!

I'm just building one now,but I like the look of the chassis.
Do you know if the high speed is pretty quick?
Or are these pretty slow for off road driving?

dragon model not really the best for speed due to the under-geared ratio but it does have decent wheel speed in 2nd gear.

What ESC did you go with?

I went with the HobbyWing Crawler ESC. Very inexpensive programable ESC that’s brushless. Paired it with a turnigy brushless motor. Together they make the best setup. Can also be used in brush mode too just pair it with a brushed motor and only connect two wires.
