Here's What You Don't Know About Resin Stickers...
Warning: Important Health and Safety Notice:
Resin is an industrial chemical and as such should always be treated with respect and the manufacturers safety advice taken. Here is a video I have made on how I keep myself safe: • Stop Making Yourself I... - Навчання та стиль
It's 1am and I'm ordering some acetate 😂
For printing stamps onto acetate, I recommend the use of a stamping press. They allow you to ensure that you get a good, even image. And, if there are any missing bits of the stamped image, you can re-ink the stamp and restamp it in exactly the same place to fill in the gaps. This is all particularly useful on slippery surfaces like acetate, where it is very easy to slip a little and get a fuzzy line (as you did with the first lady you stamped).
It's interesting to see, what a difference doming makes. 🙂
Thank you so much for this. Your videos are always great. You are a real treasure! This is going to be fun to do with my daughters and now we can preserve their “art” and make key chains and things they can put on their school bags.
We need a Steve McDonald kit @ Canada :)
Fantastic idea, thank you 😊
I purchased a pack of these, there was only one left, at the Dollar Store for $1.25US and didn't know what I was buying until I got home. Well, I looked them up and had no idea what I was going to do with them so in the draw they went. Steve has saved the day or my stamps from dust and/or taking up space. Excellent idea and Thank You 🌹
Nice! This just gave me an idea of a little something I can include with my orders.
Love how you colored them
Just sent info about 15cm x 10meter acetate collar roll for cakes on Amazon to another feed, sorry had 2 videos playing at the time. Hope that helps. Love your work, thanks 😊
You've got my attention. I love how you made them. I'm going to have to give it a try.
I think this would be an awesome way to make some really cute earrings
Loving your Chanel Steve these stickers are so cool 👍
Absolutely great tutorial definitely going to try this cheers for sharing Steve 🤗🤗🤗
What a great idea! You make such wonderful things that are simple and easy to do. Thank you Steve 😊!!!
I love these idea
Nice❤
I’m so bummed!! I’m new to resin and I discovered your channel a week or so ago and I’ve marathon watched your videos on this channel and IM ALL CAUGHT UP! Needless to say, I’ll be eagerly awaiting all of your new videos!! Now I’ll watch all of your videos on your other channel and then all the resin artists you’ve recommended throughout your videos. But nobody will compare to you. Your channel rocks!!
very lovely idea
Hi Steve. Those are really cute. I really like the lady that you cut all the way out and domed; but they're all nice. I thought that you were going to make a few pairs of earrings out of a few of them; especially the balloons, and the rose. I think that they'd really look cute as earrings. So, I was waiting to see if you needed to put resin on the back of them if you did. Oh well; I guess that that's an experiment that I'll have to perform. Thankx for all of your videos; I enjoy them on both channels.
I'm thinking you could probably make some cute earrings with your method 👍 😊
I want to use this technique for bookmarks and name tags. I think barrettes and other hair doodads would be fun too!
Reminds me of Shrinky Dinks!
Yes I’ve seen them make it with that and place resin over it
HI Steve, Thanks for sharing a really super duper project idea 👍❤️✨🤗🙂
Is it possible to colour the images in with alcohol markers?
Beautiful! I have some ideas running around my little brain on how to use these! Thank you Steve! 😊😊😊
I just recently got some of these stamps! I cannot wait to try this!!! Thanks for sharing!❤
Steve, If you take your stickers and make handles on them with air dry clay (the foam kind) it is not only easier to grab them without getting ink on your hands...but it helps them print more easily. Or go to your local thrift store and get childs blocks and glue smaller ones on 2 sides...hope it helps. I really enjoy your videos but at this time can't afford to do anything...but send Blessings!
This seems easier than trying to stamp and color on inside of laminate pouch.
How fun Steve! Love the bright colors. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That’s so much fun!
This is awesome
I love these, beautiful job.
Wow they are fantastic. Definitely giving this a try! Thanks for this Steve.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing
That's pretty cool! It's a great idea and I really like how they turned out!
These are SO MUCH FUN 🌈💞🎉 Wow!!
Hi Steve these are so cute 😍 thanks for sharing ❤️ xx
Great idea, fantastically Versatile
Cool
What a great idea 💡 I've got loads of stamps and didn't know what to do with them. Can't wait to use them in a project. Thanks
Sorry I havnt got you a coffee ☕ my electric/gas bill is killing me this year here in Spokane Valley Wa, hopefully for my 60th birthday may 1st I can become a member
Steve did you know, resin coasters make great stamp blocks?
Thanks you so much for sharing. Love the idea. Will it work with UV resin as well or only 2 part epoxy?
thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us! I am curious as to how you use these finished items... and I can't seem to locate the link that you mention towards the end of this video. Did I miss the link?? Thanks again for your fun experiments
You said in your video you have some kits still available but Amazon says no. Do you have another link?
❤❤❤
❤
Love your work. Where do I find the products you use to buy?
Would it be easier to cut it first before adding resin
Any chance you could try out cake dollars?
They keep showing up when I search for acetate sheets. Apparently they're some of a acetate sheets meant to go around mousse cakes.
I'd love to see you experiment with the to see if they'll work with resin shaker charms & stamp coloring amongst things. They also seem a bit cheaper but I'm not convinced they are cheaper.
Crazy stupid question if we had cutting die for our stamp can we cut it out first then put the resin on the back then dome? Or use the cricuit machine cut image out then color then but resin on back then dome the front? Is so thats be a nice game changer
I wonder if I can do this using shrinky paper than use the resin after I’ve seen a few tutorials like that
A tip for the highlights is do them 1st and then paint the rest and you’ll be able to skip cleaning a spot for the highlights
Cool
