Never been fishing before and just got myself some fishing gear, your video gave me some good info on what to do. Wish I had your help in person I have social anxiety so I don't ask people, I don't even know how to set my rod up or tie my hooks and stuff on or lures lol. I'm in foster and just try to check out people's set ups but can never get a got sight of what they have going on
Just relax my friend, fishing is just a relaxing pastime, you don’t have to be an expert or have any special gear to get started. Using basic gear and bait is very easy, just get a basic rod from any fishing store. If you’re unsure how to tie hooks and gear etc there’s plenty of starter vids on UA-cam or just ask the person in the store. Most fishers are happy to explain to beginners and don’t feel anxious if you’re unsure, it’s just a learning experience. We’re in it to enjoy being out and around the water and trying to catch those elusive fish. Don’t be anxious just have fun and enjoy yourself, and if you catch a few fish it’s a bonus!
Thanks for this video Will. It was just what I needed. As a novice Flathead Angler, you provided me with everything I needed to know all in one place. Now all I have to do is put it into practice. Lol.
Hey mate it’s had to explain but it’s basically before the entrance of Wallis lake. There are soo many spots for flathead, especially this time of year you will catch them everywhere! Just look for any sand flats or drop overs with a bit of current you are bound to catch them

What are you yousing for fishing at foster tuncurey today 🤔🤔
It’d be better without the music mate, with that and the wind you’re a bit hard to hear.
Yeah completely understand. Defiantly have learnt some things over my time on UA-cam. I do apologise, wasn’t my best video
A wind filter for your mic would make this watchable.
