She's in the same position as ben was, so none of this is her fault and she hardly deserves to anguish she's going through. It really drives it home, which i really like. Guess there really is a reason this song's the most memorable out the whole mod.

It's Complicated has been my favorite FNF song ever since I first heard it, many songs have won my heart as well, but none could top the sheer emotions I've felt first hearing this song.. So seeing this version of the song, Grace falling to her knees as the realization kicks in, the raw emotion in her voice that is topped off with the stellar new chromatic... It's like I'm feeling those emotions once again, it's not just complicated, it's peak.
I relate so much with Grace here..and the major upgrades from V1 to V2..vocals, remix, sprite changes, it's MUCH better than before..the whole package really touches your soul, especially if you find yourself in the story..god I cried so much while listening, and seeing Grace's animations change first trying to reach for Ben..then breaking down realizing the truth..Soft Mod is officially my fave mod from all time 😭😭😭

This song is a HUGE glow-up from V1, but there are just a few *teensy* problems I can find with it. (Go go gadget useless rambling!) Wanna get the Ups of V2 in here too, so I don’t come off as a rude prick. First, some sections of the song, (example being where Grace’s sprite changes), sounds SO much better and emotional compared to V1. Grace’s new chromatic also really drives her emotions in this week and I love it! Second, Grace’s new sprites. The emotions are so much more RAW compared to V1. Her shaking hand in her idle, hiding her face in her up pose, her legs shaking in her right pose. Then her sprite changes when she becomes more desperate for Ben to stay. Reaching out to Ben, clasping her hands, it’s all wonderful. Third, the addition of Grace’s breakdown at the end really drives her pain at Ben leaving (or- trying to at least). In V1, she just stood there, with a tearful smile, which kinda ruined the sad vibe of V1. Fourth, the instrumental sounds so much better in V2. The chimes (I think that’s what they are) at the beginning and end of the song are just- *chefs kiss* But, going on to the cons.. First, Ben looks kinda.. disproportionate compared to Grace. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like updated BF/Pico sprites would’ve looked better for this song. Their size/styles don’t really match well for me. Second, when the song amps up (or the Grace Sprite Change), Ben can BARELY be heard at times, Grace’s vocals easily overpowering his. Now I know Ben is softer and quieter, and Grace is trying to get him to stay and all that, but like- I wanna hear his vocals.. Third, also when it amps up (or the Grace Sprite Change), the chart is copy paste between sides. I personally liked the V1 version of this section, because Ben and Grace SOMETIMES had the same notes, usually having different (but not mirrored) notes (like Ben having a left note whilst Grace has an up note), really driving that they have conflicting ideas/intentions, but agree on a few things at times (if that even makes sense 💀) Fourth, and last thing, the stage feels… so empty compared to V1. Like, there was a little crowd of people from other mods in the station. Now it just feels like nobody is there, and it’s just Ben, Grace, and Pico.
