Amazing job! I bought the same figure in the box but I was lucky that the coat was in good condition. I cut most of the collar off and stitched the jacket from the waist to the neck so it looks like the coat from the second movie and I added the same head you bought but to the barbie figure and it worked great - And thank you so much, I used your links to get the head and search for the older figure.

Sorry to hear that...4 months ago I'm still waiting for the head sculpt to release...I do follow it all, so far Trinity it's the best one in TW Matrix figure line, only the head sculpt still needs to be improve or you can replace it, which should work better. But to be honest, the costume for the figure is amazing tho!
@@DreamsZoneToys Yes, I know. I was in the same situation. Before I bougth the figure I had in mind to buy the manco head (I already have it and it is true this is a big improvement). Nevertheless, I prefer much more the Trinity look from 1st and 2nd movies than in the third one, but as I had the other TW figures I bought it to have the complete set. However, I'm thinking to make my own custom if I sell the figure.
@@DreamsZoneToys you're welcome. I don't think you can fix the parts of the trench coat loosing the shiny coating. It seems like similar to 1980's and 190s barbie shiny cloths. They do the same thing. I cant wait to see what you got next

Nice job. I like the use of the use of the stretchable material and seamless silicone body. The head sculpt is not perfect but it's the best one out there for now and better than the Kumik or the Toy Works version . I'm holding out and reserving my money for Hot Toys to hopefully release a Trinity figure since they appear to have the official license for The Matrix. Only they have the skilled artists that can do justice on the likeness of Carrie Anne Moss. The material on the trench coat you used is vinyl coated on fabric. Like any coating on fabric the more it's moved or stretched the faster the coating will separate from the fabric. You might try using some liquid vinyl that's used to repair leather to patch the damaged section, since the coat is basic black it's easy to color match. I made a custom trinity using Kumik's Death Bringer (I think it's called) which is a clone of the Underworld Selene character and also Kumik's Carrie Anne Moss head sculpt which includes the Matrix sunglasses. The Kumik Death Bringer figure has the shiny vinyl material on not only the trench coat but on the outfit as well and it's better made more durable and has a wire already sewn in than the one you used in your video. Again nice work on your custom.

This is the 3rd video I see and I really like the channel, it makes me want to try to do this custom figures myself, the difficult part it's getting all the material and waiting to be deliver (in Mexico the customs area is a pain in the neck)

I'm using the basic shoe glue because it has the flexibility in state of becoming hard after dry, it is the best to use in leather, rubber and fabric...you can find it in any local shop or shoe repair shop, if not you can also use UHU glue, it will have the same effect. Which jiaou body skin tone is that?
The one I've selected is "Pale skin", but it really depends on the head sculpt skin color, just try to get as close as possible or it may look weird.
