he has to be there to stop the footage on the phantom, depending on the framerate a 1 second of recording in real time gets pushed to an hours of footage, so sorting thru that footage takes time and also a ton of space on the memory card which would limit how many shots they can take in slowmotion

7:26 Gaunson actually being right for once! reasoining is a bit off but basically you're giving the coin angular momentum in one direction which makes is significantly harder for it to spin in the other directions.
