- Veggie Quest Demo Part 4 - There's even MORE levels in Veggie Quest! First, I must defeat the only level that's plagued me still, then I take on the new water levels. This water mechanic might be the most devious one yet.

I could recommend that the yellow squares be replaced with some kind of arrow. Following the path is tedious otherwise.

@@TlalocTemporalunfortunately, whilst i do agree, some things aren’t possible to do considering the strict upload schedule tyler has, and the fact that he has no editors (i might be wrong on that, but as far as i know he doesnt have any. please correct me if i am wrong!).

I wish to believe the point of the level is figuring out the solution and by then trial and error would have been slightly tedious so instead it is VERY lenient with its scoring
maybe the devs thought process was the lvl rewards you for grasping the idea and thats what you get the 3 carrots for, the previous carrots you got for an inferior version of that idea which couldnt solve it completely
i think that water warrior puzzle was the most impressive demonstration of tyler's puzzle solving ability i've seen on the channel. i don't know how he kept track of where the guy was or where he'd already been. was he, like, writing it down or something?

Now that I think about it, Veggie Quest is kinda like the sequel of Paquerette Down the Bunburrows where the vegetables are tryna run away from the rabbits, and at the same time the rabbits are tryna run away from Paquerette.
Always interesting when a puzzle stumps tyler, reminds us mortal viewers that he is human

@@mr.duckie._. You have to know about coprime numbers to solve that first level, unless you plan on bruteforcing it (like tyler was trying to last video)
It's almost as if math is useful for solving logical problems.
It was already known that the Player can choose to move 0 tiles, with all the "waiting" for the rabbits in other levels that was a move 0 tiles
True. But I think implication of that was “even if you don’t move the water can still move you?” That’s not necessarily obvious.

Tyler &/or Editors, it would be really helpful if you reminded us what each characters movement ability is when you start a level. The editing was phenomenal and immensely helpful... but I still couldn't really follow along not knowing what moves they can make. Love the vids and this series! Keep it up!

The design of these puzzles are incredible, like these are really creative and also like so deceivingly hard.
The second water puzzle kinda reminds me of dynamic programming and tabulation and memoization lol
It would be fun to have a multiplayer version of this where you construct the level and someone else tries to beat it in the minimum moves. A double reverse puzzle game, or just a normal puzzle game
Solver waiting for an hour while dungein construction and constructor waiting another hour while solver tries to solve? Seems fun)

This is my favorite series of yours
Really impressive how Tyler managed to get 3 carrots so quickly on the third level. I struggled a lot with this one. After thinking more about denying squares and strategically forcing a longer path I managed to get it up to 15 steps. I would like to see Tyler return to that level and see if he can figure that out.
The last two level solves were actually so entertaining to follow, just pulling the thread slowly of walking off every good path
What an amazing game. Stikes a good balance of being challenging, yet easy to follow along, through simple rules and great editing. Looking forward to the release!

This game is great, because it’s really digestible (pun intended) to someone like me who tends to get lost in the shenanigans of many puzzle games. Can’t wait for the full release

I get you're trying to be helpful but from experience watching him it's probably not fun for Tyler to be spoiled and backseated while looking at comments. If someone told me the solution while I was enjoying comments I'd be pissed.

This game reminds me of understand because in both games I really enjoy watching Tyler figure them out but I have no idea what is going on.
In the last one at the final part you could make so he would teleport in a water facing down, only to end up in a water facing up, making so he would have to wait a move so the water pushes him
wish you could play this still. Or is there an archive of the itch demo?
