Excellent acting and perfect uniforms
@No Productions Haha! =) I am a member in NADM productions i think that is why. Ovedo is my second account.
Its true i guess. A soldier doesn't fight because he hates what's in front of him. He fight for what he loves behind him...
1:00 I got in trouble beacause of this scene
@@tekkers1204 I'm sure you're not the only one 🤣
This is an excellent showcase of your talent. Keep it up.
Yes
I saw the dude with the glasses and immediately thought “Joker tf you doin in Okinawa?
Brilliant movie and story. Well filmed and acted. Also it's nice to see a different scenario to all the European theaters of WWII. Would like to see more Pacific re-enactments.
His mother left from his evil father hands, but he will never leave okinawa. Mum's bullet save his life, Japanese bullet take his life. Sometimes croward doesn't mean useless, it will makes you survive. How sad 😔
He didn’t though?
well done
Awesome work! :-)
When it comes to computerized and high tech weapon freezing, ww2 equipments are very useful.
This is
*amazing*
Yeah how dey fuckkin I’m front tha boy
As a kid in Arkansas, that's exactly how it was back in the day.
Huh? Every father in Arkansas got drunk and beat his wife and children senseless? REALLY? My dad and mom grew up in that era, my grandparents never got drunk and beat them. Oh, wait: that's because my parents are from Michigan. Yep, but if they were from Arkansas, then...! What a moronic comment Billy. Look, if your father beat you and your mother like that you have my sympathy. But to paint an entire era and people with your personal horror show? I know so many great people from Arkansas. Only an idiot would say what you said. Get help.
@@lawrenceallen8096 Did I say that all fathers got drunk and beat their wives and kids? However, when I was a schoolkid in Arkansas and North Carolina, beatings were commonplace at home and in the schools. I'm 66 now, so no need to lecture me. Perhaps your world was different than mine. Congratulations. If you want your comments to be appreciated as intelligent, don't resort to personal attacks. It makes you look like an idiot. You will never win over anyone with a hateful and uninformed attitude. Get an education about the old school methods of child rearing. Spare the rod, spoil the child... that was a common saying back in the day. Including such comments as, "Wait till your father gets home" and "behind the woodshed". They held serious weight once upon a time. So get real. Get informed before you go spouting off about your comfortable and privileged life.
@@wbwilhite A father grounding and pounding his wife and son bloody. That's what the movie short showed. You said "that's exactly how it was back in the day." Your words. REALLY? Yeah, our dad got out the strap: hell! He had 3 boys to take care of. But it was for more show than actual corporal punishment, no bruises, temporary red marks. And it worked! But no, he didn't sit on mom and ground and pound her like some MMA fighter, for crissake! Nor us boys. No father of anyone I knew, either. Yeah, sadly it happened to some family, somewhere, some place, sometime. Of course. But "That is the way it was in the day." COME ON! PU-LEEZE! Look, Billy, even Socrates said "I love being corrected. It helps me replace my mistakes with truth." If Socrates can admit that, don't you want to take another crack at : "that's exactly how it was back in the day."
@@lawrenceallen8096 Your family was likely less violent than others. Deprecating the experience of others who weren't as lucky as you proves nothing. It simply proves that your surroundings were not the same as many other Southerners, especially in rural areas or small towns. That's all that means. Lucky you. Give this topic a rest, Larry. BTW... corporal punishment was heavy when I was a kid, at home and in school. It still continues to this very day with the support of local communities aka parents. When I was a kid, common reasons to be paddled by the teacher (or whipped with a leather strap by the principal) included such things as being tardy, talking out of turn, disrespect for teachers or the flag or God, going to the restroom without permission, missing school without a proper excuse or parental note, etc. And in case my other reply was deleted, don't forget about the heavy use of the N word and segregation. I grew up in that era, so I remember it quite well. How about your grandparents? Have they no memory of what it was really like in the good Old South?

Congratulations on having a wonderful childhood, Larry. It's too bad that you don't understand so many other Southerners whose lives were less blessed than yours.
@@wbwilhite It was not common, nor "The way It was back in the day" as you described, that fathers would ground and pound their wives and children as depicted in this movie short...south, north, or on the moon. EVEN in the Middle East, where violence against women is commonplace, it isn't "The way it is" there either. I tried to give you a face-saving way out of your ridiculous statement, but evidently you think you're smarter than Socrates.
Honestly this deserves more appreciation
This is my favorite ww2 short film
WAIT this good of a film and only 72 subs you deserve like 100000000000
over weight, soft, lonely little guys would like this,
Imstead of screams of pain it was moaning, but a great shortfillm though💯
Well you're not wrong 🤣
looks like the air force sprayed some agent orange on the island before attacking.
Well; at least he didn't get his entire platoon killed ~ SMH
But a large portion of soldiers never pull the trigger, during combat.
Nice movie/ty
Where's Mr Miyagi 🤔🤔😁
In Europe fighting against the Germans
Wow ! Intense ! 💥💥👍👍👏🙏
how do u only have 67 subs
I used to have my videos hosted on a personal account but I created this one to host future short films.
@@FirewallFilms1 were you using blanks in this film
@@thIDthIRreenactor Sorry for the delayed response, youtube notifications have been spotty for me. We did use a lot of blanks. There are some shots were none were used however. For example, the Type 99 LMG wasn't real and was actually constructed with EVA foam and PVC pipe. The Arisakas also did not fire any blanks since we had no blanks for them on hand.
Some clown makes up a scenario and you expect normal people to sub?
What about subtitles? Where can I find it?
Corny. But ok for a short WW2 clip.
Takonohana!!! Banzai!!!💥🇯🇵
5:57 i nearly black out
Awesome. Looking forward to the full lenght version!
Outstanding film. Story superbly interweaves childhood and war. Very well done.
