How to propagate poinsettia

Do you grow all sizes of poinsettia in 100% river sand? Or do you just root cuttings in the river sand?

I let the cutting grow in the river sand so that the cuttings root quickly. After the plant is rooted, I put it in another potting mix that is cocopeat and ricehull. Thank you and happy planting

Good day ma'am. Prune your poinsettia in late April, cutting all the stem back by 1/3. Be sure to mist the plant with water and prevent it from drying out. Thank you and happy planting🌿🌿🌿
