Oregon beaches got a pass mark from us but sad to say they are a long long way behind Australian Beaches, but then again, you have far better mountain ranges.

Too crowded in the good months. The sidewalks are so skinny and everyone brings their dogs. It’s so jam packed -it’s like the 405 freeway in Southern California. We love Florence and the downtown is cute but don’t go there in the summer during its peak season. Yes the weather is better but wait until the Fall. Much better

Appreciate your comments. We come from 10,000 miles away so timing beyond our control. We are aware of your stunning fall season (Autumn) and are trying to plan a trip back to the Eastern half just for the purpose of driving through your famous States for Fall colour. Florence was a pretty little place all the same. What surprised us was all the rage about the US west coast....we were so disappointed. If you ever want to see beautiful beaches that leave the Bahamas and the Caribean for dead then visit Australia. Good to hear from you LedByGrace.

It was very charming Joe, we loved it. Loved our entire 11,000 miles driving through the US and looking forward to returning next year or perhaps 2026.
We would love to do the same trip all over again but will more likely drive across the southern states and then up your east coast.....but you do live in a nice area...perhaps too cold for us though. Thanks for comments.
