Professional golfer Rickie Fowler has announced that he will be using New King Tour Irons from Cobra Golf in the upcoming season. This decision marks a significant change for Fowler, who has consistently used blades throughout his career. So what led to this switch, and what can we expect from Fowler with his new clubs?
According to Fowler, the main reason he decided to make the switch to Cobra Golf was the performance of the New King Tour Irons. He was particularly impressed with their distance, forgiveness, and control, which he believes will help him to improve his game and compete at the highest level.
"I've been testing the New King Tour Irons for a while now, and I've been really impressed with their performance," Fowler said in a recent interview. "They're incredibly long and forgiving, and they offer a level of control that I haven't experienced with any other iron. I'm really excited to start using them on the course and seeing what they can do."
Fowler isn't the only one who is excited about this new development. Cobra Golf is also thrilled to have such a prominent and talented player on their team. "We're honored to have Rickie Fowler join the Cobra Golf family," said Tom Olsavsky, Vice President of R&D for Cobra Golf. "He's a world-class player with an incredible amount of talent, and we're confident that the New King Tour Irons will help him to reach his full potential on the course."
While it's always difficult to predict exactly how a golfer will perform with a new set of clubs, it's safe to say that Fowler's switch to the New King Tour Irons has the potential to be a game-changer. These clubs are designed to deliver maximum distance, forgiveness, and control, which are all key factors in a golfer's success. If Fowler can take advantage of these features and use them to his advantage, we could see him contending for top finishes in the coming season.
So what can fans expect from Rickie Fowler with his new Cobra Golf clubs? It's difficult to say for sure, but one thing is certain: Fowler is a talented player who is always a threat on the course. Whether he's using his old clubs or his new ones, he has the skills and determination to compete at the highest level. With his new Cobra Golf clubs in hand, we can't wait to see what he'll be able to accomplish on the course in the coming months and years.

Rickie Fowler says Cobra made him MB, CB, and King Tour irons. *What does MB stand for in golf?* MB stands for "Muscle Back", a muscle back iron is a type of "blade" golf club, an iron with a more traditional look commonly referred to as a forged club. Rickie talks about the look of the iron, he's primarily talking about the player view, looking directly down at the top of the iron, MB irons are quite narrow yet the base is thicker which increases forgiveness and launch angle.

I like cobras lineup... I think they would be hard to overlook especially when comparing the value you get from some of the other top brands.

@endogenic, which irons are you playing? I don't think I even hit Cobra irons during my pro fitting a few months ago, perhaps I should have! I settled on the TaylorMade P790s.
