I received my Parrot Pro in the mail today and immediately wanted to take it for a spin. I use a ZV-1 and couldn’t make heads or tails of the adaptor. Now it’s all set up! Thanks for the gear and the tutorial, this is an awesome and versatile piece of equipment!

3:50 I’m having great difficulty unscrewing that part. I’ve used a lot of force and hot water - but to no avail. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Sorry you're having problems with this. The little rear cap is hard to hold but it will be easier if its more dry than wet. If the issue persists please email support@padcaster.com and we can send a replacement (we'll even unscrw it first) - Thanks!

In the first demonstration setting up the GoPro, the black knobs are too short to allow the mounting plate to attach to the angled piece (either that or the non slip padding is too thick). I've tried both screws and from both sides with no success.

I'm using the same black knobs that you are, but with the rubber padding the assembly is on the thick side. I press them together and push a little on the knob and it screws in a few turns before it locks up. You can send a photo of what you're doing to support@padcaster.com if you'd like me to check it out. The mounting plate and angled piece shipped pre-assebled yes?

@@thepadcaster Thank you. The "cheese" and angled piece came assembled, but not the mounting plate and the angled one. Tried adding pressure, but not too much for fear of causing damage. I'll try again and send pictures to the email address provided if I am not successful.

Thanks and mention our exchange here to support if you do, but hopefully applying some pressure does the trick !@@Charles78

Really useful video Josh, thank you. Quick question, is there anyway of mirroring the prompt script on a tablet or another iPhone so that a 'prompt operator' is able to scroll for the talent?

I've used a small monitor in the Parrot Pro and was able to both send the script to the montior from an iPad/iPhone and als control it. I don't think iOS devices love taking inpiut signals but I'll test an phone out to a USB-C iPad over HDMI and via Airplay (and any other method you can thin of). Would be cool if that worked! Related to that, I had a prompter operator stand next to me just out of frame and he did a great job using the remote to start/stop and jump up/down because he could see the script and also hear where I was in terms of keeping time - so much better than me standing there with the remote in my hand!
