Even though I don't understand kannada, but, I definately understand the attitude of the service center guy, emotion of the customer, with respect to my experience which I faced in yamaha service center. As per my experience Avoid servicing in Big Cities if possible... I always go to my native Village for servicing..... Less bikes, a permanent mechanic for most of the services and most of em know everyone so scheming customers doesn't happen and they service the bike properly as per manual and training so chances of faulty service is less. Only con is spare parts availability.

So true.. recently went to the TVS service station for a few minor problems, leak in the front disc brake cylinder and rear drum brake locking... The service guy suggested changing the entire front brake assembly and entire rear brake set 🤦🏼♂️ instead went to the local spares shop and got the cylinder gasket and spring for the rear brake from a local garage and got em fixed for 100 bucks..😂

Bike manufacturers need to monitor the service quality and get customer feedback by directly calling customers as some of the Car companies do. For eg: Mahindra. If a customer complain even after service manufacturers raise escalation with dealer and resolve the issue or take action if behaviour was rude.

I had this experience in the Hero showroom. What he did was he pressured washed the vehicle and he accelerated the engine and obviously the smoke came out of the silencer because of the water. He told me to change the silencer, engine head bore and other parts. Its been 9 years, I am still riding with the same parts

Saying this the ASC fellows in coimbatore open my xpluse engine which was 8months old with 6400 on the odo.
Another interesting story. I had purchase CT100 from Kalyani Bajaj Mekri Circle, Bangalore in 2018. The mileage was never constant. Complained a dozen times. They took the vehicle a couple of time but of no use. Fed up I continued using the same because it was my daily commute bike. But I started working it and found that the fuel cork was the culprit. Informed Kalyani but they never took it seriously. I still use the same bike with the same default petrol cork

Also forgot to ask, do the bad roads add up to the frequent breakdowns or are the parts made with low quality material.
Bad roads can contribute.
i ask service guy to clean air filter and change oil right in front of me as that is messy job and will dirty my residential area. rest i do it myself. chain lube coolant. nothing else needed for maintaining r15. i even top engine oil.

Hmmmmmm "NO BRAND WAS HARMED WHILE MAKING THIS VIDEO" gives all the message required. The moment I saw this I remembered only one thing, my friend had lost 3 key parts on his bike. They were replaced by faulty parts of another bike. He simply got robbed of. And in the next service session, he had to replace SILENCER, REAR SHOCKS AND BATTERY. B ut still the BRAND NEVER GOT HARMED, AS THE MISTAKE WAS DONE BY AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER OF THE DEALER.

Oh man this is nationwide pain, dont need to understand your language, expressions say everything, I recently went through same pain with my xpulse in Hyderabad, i went with overheating problem and all they have done is a water wash, when asked we have checked all and everything is alright, its summer and its common, as if burning my feet through shoe is common that too for a 200 CC bike, if only they could change the engine they will charge a lakh or two and give me new engine but won’t repair! No two wheeler maker has at least decent after sales…. Beware peeps!

😂😂😂 they broke my aux light switch and removed the grip on the brake lever.. i didn't care about the grip.. aux light switch fell down after driving ahead by a few hundred meters - it just fell down.. they said nothing about it while handing over the bike..
