Go to an asain grocery store. Buy the beef paste and ditch paying an extra 5 dollars for the black and get the regular. Just add half a tbs of the beef paste and you're good to go. Might as well buy some hoisin sauce and chili crisp. Add a bit of that stuff plus a pinch of sugar... soo damm good
logan, you should try this: boil the noodles alone first and remove them. then, add seasoning packets (i also like adding white onions and minced garlic to elevate flavor of the broth). pour the soup over the noodles and enjoy! this is if you dont like your noodles getting soggy and broth being too starchy but if not then ignore!
I cook mine in the broth but only for 3 mins instead of 4. That way it doesn’t over cook while you wait for it to cool down a bit. They stay nice and bouncy. And the flavour is so much better when they’re cooked in the broth.

Your ramen drawer looks like my ramen shelf in my pantry. I eat it almost everyday for lunch. I like to add veggies and meat to mine. I also have a ton of add ins like kimchi, spicy bamboo shoots and spicy pickled radish along with various oils. You can never get bored of ramen.
