Rant justified, I feel the same. Wiha bits are the most frustrating, they are made in like 3 places now. And I found out last year they are still made in Germany also. Great Video.
hmmm I didn't know the Wiha bits were getting made all over now thats very annoying to me as I sometimes look for single bits. This is something else I need to look for grrrrr /;-)
I love that it locks, more ratching things need to lock. I think not having ph1 is fine, at least for me not used much at all. I can't even remember the last time I used ph1, which is great I'm not a fan of phillips bits at all. Where I use hex bits all the time didnt see what size hex, but hopefully h6, since thats used all the time, office chars and lots of other things. I still think the Wiha would be my choice of the lot, the handle is just so grippy, and to me one of the main features of a stubby is it fits in tight spots, that Bosch is just a bit to big. It almost looks like its the same size as that Wera extendable one, that has a built in extnsion, so can be a stubby or regular size? Which gets you the best of both worlds. Just looked up the Wera extendable, even comes with your ph1 bit. I could also be completly wrong with the size difference, but I still think the Bosch is just a bit big for a stubby, its probably more comofrtable like you say, but thats not a feature of a stubby for me, the feature is fit in tight spaces, if I didn't need a stubby I'd use a full size which is way more comfortable Also this is probably just me, but that burn mark on your matt from one of your flashlight reviews has been annoying me ever since you did it. Im also sure it looks better in person than on the videos with it being so zoomed in and being able to see every pixel, or whatever you call dots from printing.
Fair enough i know not everyone uses ph1 but i find myself on PH! or 2 most of the time even though I'm like you and I don't like them, they always strip out and even worse i go to undo one and someone has completely ruined the ph with a SZ head and i can barely grip the dam thing. The Wiha handle is lovely i have bought multiple of that stubby, i have one of them right under my monitor on my desk at work its brilliant. in fact I've been so lucky this week i found their soft touch grip set with slotted and Phillips for 10 bucks! instead of 50 and so it was a no brainer and ordered them il throw up a review once i get them and have a play about. This one is still smaller then the Were with extending shaft. the main thing that makes the Bosh bigger is the longer neck and the extra space taken up having a ratchet mechanism on it all that adds up to something which is called a stubby but if i stick it in my jeans pocket i can feel it where the Wiha and PB swiss I can hardly feel. Ha ha ha yes thet mat needs replacing you are right that burn was from a video like you say. i might stick a plaster over it until i get a new mat 🙂
This is what I hope but it says imported to the UK as if its a Europe wide carton, I need to check if they export as it is to the US markets or not. but good point.
I just bought one and for its price I think it’s great, I wanted to buy the ltt screwdriver but it was about $130 and I wasn’t sure how much better that would be and the Bosch one was $20 have you used the ltt one?
Yeah a handy tool for the price and it did all the jobs I threw at it in the house here. I have not used the LTT one due to the daft price so I won't comment on how good it might be. But I will say for building PC stuff I like a long driver otherwise it's a bit annoying. Although once of the last builds I did I just used my Ifixit set and it was great no issues what so ever. The thing that puts me off the LTT a little is the price, for that price I'd just go buy the best of the best and get a PB swiss. But again and to be fair I have not used the LTT driver so I'm sayng that with zero in person use of that tool. If I win the lottery I'll get one 😜👍
I watched this video & I have to say I was DISGUSTED. I am going to write to the disgruntled customer section of ALL the national papers. I counted 37 times you mentioned RAT SHIT, and I had to jump up on my table because I thought I was being invaded by rodents. Keep up the great vids but PLEASE mind your scary commentary. AND the mention of Phallus' was too much especially in a stubby context as I felt it was a personal highlighting of my predicament !!!!!

Can you do a review of the PB Swiss ratcheting screwdriver
13:07 Could it be different for some countries, since its for Great Britain market?
