People fail to realize this isn't a performance sport bike. It's just something fun to ride that doesn't cost a lot of money compared to other bikes. I see no problem with the 600.

I had a 600 and then upgraded to a 900. A 600 can do highway speeds, but passing people will max it out. And it can’t pass quickly. It gets very sluggish after 70mph.
@@MultiDatura It’s a significant improvement. Passing is much easier. Both models are lacking in the top end, though. In my opinion, there’s really no reason to get a 600 instead of a 900 besides the price.

Thanks to whoever like this comment. Update. I got a 2021 600 ACE red like One Ways. It threw a VSS Fault already 3rd time 600 miles. Found a huge scratch on The battery like the Tie rod bolt fell 3 inches and scratched it. So definitely having the dealership check it out and hopefully get it back working soon. Only rode it 5 days then it broke. Not too impressed so far.
@@VinCode17 yes got it back yesterday going to take it out today. The mechanic that worked on my Ryker said Can Am had him put on a Updated steering kit. It replaced the pitman, both tie rods and battery. Hopefully this fixes the problem.
Problem with 600 is not the speed, its the acceleration....i means in highway, if u have to make a quick decision to speed up, u will have low power compar to 900.

600 does just fine, best part no switching gears (tops out at 85-90mph) Pay $1500 more for a 900 and get a extra 15mile per hour (tops out between 95-105. 900’s are Nice but don’t think it’s worth the extra money. I bought two for my wife and I thinking we would have more time to ride together, so far that’s not happening, so they will be sold soon. If I can recovery most of my money back.
The suspension on the Rally is more than worth the price. We do alot of miles on dirt and washboard roads in the mountains of Idaho. And the added HP is a big plus hauling camping gear and we didn't have to buy the 2up rear spring.
I’ve never driven a motorcycle before so I’m curious. I understand that to speed up the fact you would pull back on the throttle, would you then push forward on the throttle to slow down, or would you use the break?
I am almost 70 years old and bought a ryker just like this one (minus the tank bag) for our son who use to ride two wheeled motorcycles until he had a crippling stroke five years ago. I drove it 100 miles home in 52 degee weather and in and out of rain showers. The speed limit was 70, but I held it between 60 and 70 most of the way. I must say I had a blast. The Ryker is fun at any speed. I liked it so much I might trade my HD Tri-Glide in on a Spyder RT limited in the future.
We absolutely suggest the Rally for the money. We bought 2 spring of 2019 and it would have cost us thousands of dollars per bike just to be able to haul passengers or our camping gear if we would have gone with any Ace model.
@@dabo1971 unfortunately it doesn't do that... Pedal commanders only a throttle assist. So when you put it in sport you hit the throttle a little bit and you take off as opposed to having to take it down longer to get your desired speed. I wish I put it in sports and sport plus mode but that's just modes on the pedal commander doesn't do anything for the tracks control on the 600. I changed out my front shocks on the 600 and that helped with traction control. Hoping that a certain person who likes to tune these bikes ends up figuring out a way to make traction control kick on less because it's kind of boring to have it all the time.
Why would you want to disable the traction control. It helps you from pushing to hard while cornering. And if you are only looking to do burnouts build a muscle car. People don't realize that rear tires are not that cheap and the CVT was not built for the stress. The belt will burn and heat the clutch packs and then Fail. Wait until you get the bill for that repair $$$💯% 🤣😂👍
@@jamesglenn520 Speculate much? I live in the Hills and the TC comes on regularly, even while not trying to do anything crazy. I don't burn out, but if I wanted to I could, and I'm capable of changing my own belt when the time comes. This Rotex engine can handle lots of stress. Since I upgraded my shocks, the traction control comes on way less, but still comes on way more than my friends who can put theirs in sport mode and take the canyons sideways. Traction control on the 600 is way too nanny for what these bikes are capable of.

I own a 2021 Ryker Rally Edition 900. Usually, the limitations of the 600cc are around 75 to 80 MPH. The 600cc Ryker is the perfect town/city commuter and does excellent on small to medium highway stints. However, its limitations become apparent after 80 MPH om a straight away and when attempting to pass someone at around 70 to 75. This is not a negative of the v-twin 600cc Ryker because a 600cc traditional v-twin motorcycle would have the same limitations. They are small engines. This is the why 900cc version exists for those who need more torque while keeping to the Ryker class.
Rykers are in-line twins. And they do make some fast 600’s. Most 600 sport bikes are extremely quick. Ninja 636 tops out at 175mph, for example. Ryker is more of a scooter tho.

Naa I seen a video with the 600, and the guy hit 93 - 94mph top speed. Just type in top speed can am ryker 600, and the video came up. I got the 600 after I seen that video 👍👍. But 85 - 90 is good enough in NY.

if you into long distance and travel i suggest the 900 rally now i have the 600 it’ll get to where you wanna go with long distance but my best option just for long distance is the rally 900 you have sport modes and a extra seat for your partner

My 600 does 90-100 all day easy on interstate. Alotta these dealerships sale these rykers 5-6 grand over book if your in one of those states especially. Swear on everything

Now if those ran like a modern day 600 cc super sport , I'd be on one banging it through the gears , but just couldn't ride a CVT transmission , it makes the engine sound like it's gonna blowup 😁 No offense intended to anyone , but part of motorcycling is using your gears. But I can definitely see the benefit of a CVT for someone that is handicapped and can't use shifter 👍
I have the fastest 600 I’ve seen compared to all the ones I’ve seen on UA-cam. Mine gets up to 95 with no problem.. but then it slows down to about 90 lol

85 is pretty much flat out on 600 right? I think CVT saps a bit of power.

Yea at first but then i don’t hear it no more and i seen in a couple groups as well that the bike makes a “clicking” or a “tapping” noise

When you are on the highway and go over 60mph, does it vibrates as much as it seen on the video or you feel like its pretty stable?

I've tested my Ryker 600 with 2 up. I weigh 175 lbs and my GF was 115 lbs. I was still be able to go over 80 mph no issue.
