Thank you to all your comments. I’m well supported. I just wanted to express raw despair in a way that might be relatable to others, especially fans of Heaven Sent.
I find that episode to be a massive metaphor for resilience and determination to overcome life’s hurdles.
And I wanted to express the pain that motivates that determination by remaking the song in that episode that captures that feeling of hurt and loneliness and emptiness. By leading straight into Shepherd’s Boy (as it does on the OG soundtrack) it shows the pain can be used as fuel to overcome whatever situation were thrown into.

This is a beautifully adapted piece. I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling, I wish you all the strength to get through this difficult time with the same courage and resilience as the Doctor ❤

"But I have to do this. It's the only way. I have to be strong." Stay strong my friend, and keep punching your wall.

Please seek support of trusted friends/family/etc or mental health professionals to help with these feelings you've been having.

I think you have done a great job of injecting your emotions into this piece
I understand that saying this might not help but I hope you find a direction away from your suffering and I really wish I had a way to help more than just hopes and wishes

Sometimes I feel like I'm just punching the wall, all day, every day. Never making progress.
But deep down, I know, that once that mountain of pure diamond is chiseled away, the first second of eternity will have passed. And maybe then I'll have peace

See this is why I love Heaven Sent. That wall is an analogy for depression or life hurdles. The fact he keeps coming back to give it a punch at a time, is like the perfect metaphor for resilience.

You know? I've been feeling in a quite similar way, but my inspiration for a different point of view is the 15th doctor. He has been through all the pain and the grief of his previous incarnations and the best way for him to work out those things from the past is seeking the thrill of every new day, a new adventure, a new knowledge, a new friend, especially the last one, honouring the lives of the friends who have been left behind by living according to how they would have done it.
If you feel like you're no longer capable of feeling anything, feel your own emotions and seek for the eye of the storm. There's a place inside your mind where things can make sense, but it's a hell of a journey.
it's important to do this because nothing in the world will complete you if you don't find out what are you truly lacking. I wish you the best of the lucks and I hope you can find your way out of the seemingly unbeatable wall.

People need help,I myself am going through a similar situation as you are,I thought summer would help me relax but I’m just doing the same thing everyday now. I can’t make you take my advise but what I can do is give you said advice. Step back and go outside,go grab a sandwich, maybe call a friend,go see a movie, apparently Inside Out 2 is pretty good. Maybe start working on a personal project, don’t tell us what it is,just do something for you,not for us. You come first when it comes to your mental health.

We are not alone, We have a Saviour. One who suffered alongside us, even to His death upon the cross at Calvary. It is to Him I raise my eyes.

All praise the Doctor. He who suffers and died for us.
