- I made a video a while ago about my favorite Tower of God characters, but what about the characters that I find DISAPPOINTING in Tower of God?? These characters are all great and I hope we get more of them, but the fact remains that they were very underwhelming as time went on.

I think that Anaak will play a big role in the princess war arc

I have a feeling Baam is going to make her switch from Isu's group to his after another incident involving people targeting her and those around her (cough shilial and lilial cough). The reason being that if she continues staying with the B team, they'll eventually attract a threat they can't match while if she's in A team, Baam can protect her personally and take the *giant neon target* off of Isu, Hatz, and especially Endorsi (as the princess travelling with the problem she has the biggest target)

I think Yeon needs more screentime...She always gets kidnapped...
Ya she has great potential, being from one of the 10 great families. And would of been selected as a princess from that family no doubt. So I was disappointed when I seen she got kidnapped in season 3. Which I hope she is set free during or after the current arc.

Larou was for me one of the most disappointing for me because sometimes i forget he even exist sometimes even though he was such a cool character in season 1

Fr he was my favorite character in season 1 and to find out he is barely in any fights makes me sad

I feel like there's too many characters in TOG that get forgotten about. And then when they finally show up again(that is, if they come back at all)it's just for a little while and it's so disappointing tbh. Where's Ran and his team? When is Bam gonna see Wangnan and find out about Prince and Arkraptor? What on earth happened to Ehwa?! The list goes on....
@NameIsBond JamesBond Yep, very true, not gonna lie, but I still very much enjoy it. It was an enjoyable ride, but I think One Piece does it better with introducing MANY characters and actually including them in the story. (There's probably others that doesn't, but I probably forgot about.)

there is no story with this many characters that properly develops them all, that's simply not possible(one piece is just smarter as they keep a smaller main cast around) and leave all the other side chars important to each arc....well in that arc.
Tog should have stopped at team sweet and sour with mains, them and main team was more than enough(like i'd give a pass to kaiser joining since we lost 2 members, but still.
SIU has just created too many characters for his own good. Also the fact that Bam still doesn't know that big bro Arkraptor and Prince are dead is so infuriating to me. This happened early mid hell train like hundreds of chapters ago.
Also, I’m shocked that Beta isn’t on the list. He is my least favorite villain the story and even as an ally he doesn’t really do that much honestly.

One of the biggest flaws of ToG (imho) is the excess of dump characters. SIU will talk about some character, hype them up, and then never mention them again. Everyone from the Second Floor except Baam, Rachel and Khun (yes, including Rak) has been incredibly miss-managed and underdeveloped. The entirety of Team Sweet-and-Sour doesn't even exist in my mind. Most Rankers and High Rankers appear more in the series then Baam's supposed companions and comrades (Yuri, Urek, Kallavan, White, Karaka, Evankhell, Yu Han Sung).
Now that I think about it...
All of the best characters are either Rankers or Khun/Bam/Endorsi/Rachel. Everyone else had such a wasted potential (Do you even remember Lauroe and Beta?)
It wouldn't be such a big deal if he didn't keep making all these characters out to be more important to the story than they actually are. Bam was always going to blow past the other regulars and leave them useless so why were the regulars introduced and developed like they would be with him until the end? Why have none of them ever formally said goodbye to the group even when we know they'll never be able to contribute to the story again? Rak, Khun, Wagnan, Rachel, and maybe Endorsi are literally the only regular characters that have endgame story potential, but even with that they get next to no development as SIU's parade of rankers continues to dominate the story and force out any remaining narrative development and impact the regulars could have. This makes them worse than useless. At least if they had left we wouldn't see how shitty their neglected arcs are.
New characters get introduced with traits, powers, and backstories that are built-up to become relevant in the arc only to have Bam single-handedly save everyone's ass at the end of the day. So the others end up not really doing anything significant or memorable that concludes their character arcs properly.
Exo's Slayage makes antis cry salty tears will that’s not true he may save people lives but that doesn’t mean there arc is over like ehwa hasn’t finished her arc, ran hasn’t finished his arc either, annak im pretty sure she hasn’t finished her arc unless endorsi made her not want to kill the princesses but she should still want to kill jahad. There’s more but not gonna talk about them but he most likely is gonna be able to finish them on the end season and maybe some on season 3.
Kemvaros I agree with everything you say except team sweet & sour. We had a good amount of screen time with them and they’ll definitely be coming back since Horyang is awake.
I think Boro deserved to be somewhere on that list. Probably next to Sachi in my opinion. He used to be a badass guy with a lot of background regarding the Hell Train. But became a comic relief character overshadowed by the main cast. Boro deserved greater moments and hope he will return in the upcoming arcs (hopefully) as a surprise during the current war arc.
at some point when reading i saw boro and was like " who the hell is that guy?" and i had to google it to remember who he was
I love endorsi and all but all the way around the later parts of season 2 a majority of the action with her in it is just her using bong bong

@@resolvedfate1295 bam's teleport is not nearly as useful/good as her's....i think she's obv relevant though she hasn't done much since the fight vs kaiser.

For me (besides anaak) i think Beta was the biggest let down of a character hyped to be stronger than the other 2 ignition weapons even stronger than cassano with both devils and once the arc ends he just like in khuns lighthouse? doing something? then helps power a weird underused khun lighthouse skill then just leaves? or is like still in the lighthouse? cant remember
Beta needs to remain in his lighthouse if he wants to travel between floors since he is not a Regular.

@@hazeytom9133 Well, we did see him fight and help the main cast a few times in the hell train saga, as rare as it was. Also, the war isn't over yet, so there is still a possibility that Beta will reappear somewhere in the upcoming battles.
lol you can clearly tell that beta is even more disappointing than anaak to the point that dr.bonehead forgot about beta's existence ( im just assuming because if he remembered beta he wouldve been surely on the list if not #1) thats how disappointing beta is
Deng Deng was the most disappointing character, IMO. He was the whole cause of the Mad Dog arc, but was barely in the arc, and ended up dying off screen or something. His arc ended up being more about his self-absorbed father.
Oscaragious yeah that was disappointing. I think siu mentioned in a blog post that he meant to have deng deng's backstory longer but he thought people would think things were going too slow so he shortened it
deng deng dies on screen, we see him get his heart ripped out, when I saw deng dengs death I thought it was very depressing because of the feeling that his entire life and death was planned out for him and it didn't matter how much he squirmed, even his one friend was planned, it made me freeze for a bit, but I can also see how he definitely should of had more screen time before his death and more screen time in particular with his friend whos name I don't remember
Totally. Deng Deng was also hyped up as this incredibly powerful regular who could be someone that Yama's been waiting for in his gang, but we never even see anything like that from him.

Even Rak is sort of just there. He only has one or two fights and they were off screened! He rarely reflects on the situation and, to be honest, if he were gone, the story would still work as is.

IKR? Dude, they wouldn't let him fight in most cases even though they made him WANT to really want to. The fact that Bam really is much more powerful and way ahead of everyone made it really seem that he's doing it solo-mode and it mentioned it in the story a couple of times. It just wanna make you sigh in disappointment.
@@Novaheim rak has alot of potential remember when bam went to train with khuns father to fight copy jahad, Khuns father told rak that he has the power to control elements. As far as im concerned rak will get a major power up.
I also feel that Hatz doesn't get a lot of screen time in ToG like he should. He's such a great character, his fight style and design are cool, and it's been a while since we saw him fight...

Dude Hatz and Shibisu have way more screen time than anyone else on their team. They're even hyping up the idea of him learning from White rn. There are lots of underutilized characters but he isn't one of them by a long shot.

Remember this is an ongoing series that we are probably halfway or little more through. I read somewhere siu said it would be 4 seasons in total but who knows how long each season will be. Especially with number 1, but I think this will apply to other characters on this list, will likely return to the story and we will see them progress up the tower.
This list is supposed to highlight characters with missed opportunities in previous storylines even though they will eventually get more time to shine, there is no way for those characters to get the time where they should have shone back
At this point, i really don't believe this to still be the case.
As a story maker you can make estimations, but that has no meaning once your far into the story(especially with a story this long).
That’s all well and good, but they’ve been irrelevant for hundreds of chapters and their storylines have long become stale. Saying “they’ll come back” doesn’t make up for all the wasted potential in the series. Also, their main plot isn’t necessarily the only thing that’s important. To make that main plot matter, we need to be invested in the character, which I can’t do if they are never given any attention.
The most dissapointing one is hands down Albelda, the last White clone. come on, she appears gives Bam a power up so that he can beat up Hoaquin and then leaves. Last time we saw her was to get consumed by Hoaquin. For me, even though it makes sense with Bam's powers, was handled as a plot device if anything. For some reason she is very popular in the fandom and I cant see why (although the desing is great ngl)
Albelda is preety, she sided with bam, and pretty much roasts the heck out of hoaqin. Was exited on how her story will develop but alas she got absorbed 😂
i mean everytime we see white, he has thoughts about devouring bam's soul when albelda kinda yells at him as we see from him responding to her

Im holding on to hope that when white eventually betrays bam shes gonna be like nope thats my man im in his harem so im taking over things from here
albelda was not at all a letdown in my opinion, she was a more important clone(none of the other clones even mattered), white is clearly her and hoaqin mixed(she's likely the only reason he's stable and not fucking our boys over).
I wish SIU didnt have trouble drawing Ehwas flames so we could see more of her

Eh. Anaak is fine for me. She’s in the same boat with Hatz where I feel like they can be just as relevant in the future as she was beforehand. Ran has been in the show almost as little as she has and that’s fine
In current arc, I can see why they can't be inserted, since position wise which is a regular class fisherman that can't do anything in the fight against rankers and hr's alike. Shibisu and hatz will kinda always be relevant since they're scout tandem. Agree that Siu could've used her in name hunt station tho, maybe for the fodders. Certainly not against Elaine, while she maybe was a regular, she wasn't a normal one being the station's ruler for several thousands of years and welp she had op arsenal.
I think that almost all the side characters are pretty disappointing, siu makes their debut as cool, villains, someone with his own object, sometimes siu gets them even an interesting backstory but then... They're just used for the photo of the main characters or as a tool or they just disappeare.. it's kinda lame, some characters have so much potential for arcs and I really hope that siu in the future will stop a bit with bam's plot and give space to another characters. With so many characters the possibilities are infinitives for arcs and story, I love Bam, his plot, I want to know more but there are the world building, the characters, the backstory siu pls give them their time to shine
Hockney is the only one that I think is actually like...useful and has enough presence

To be fair I feel like Anaak still has the potential to have a more important role in future arcs. If I remember correctly at the beginning of season 3 Anaak and Endorsi were trying to get information out of Traveler and we have yet to see the continuation of that.

I really agree with anaak being 1. It's sadly a waste of potential...
Let's be honest, SIU opened up too many plots and jumped to another arc without closing the plots. I even had to reread the series from the start to refresh my mind of all this characters and plots that I have forgotten in time.
One of my gripes with tower of God it revolves too much on bam that people who are a threat or useful will just get suparssed by bam in a few chapters

kinda seems like how naruto was in the 4th Great ninja war arc, almost everyone was useless if u weren’t near hokage level u just died or had to be given nine tails chakra
@@es_es0825 The problem with this complaint, is that it was made clear from day 1 that it would be like this(have you forgotten that bam is BY FAR, the weakest/slowest of the irregulars to rise in power?) bam is getting constant outside help and to even survive against the odds.....by all facts that we know, all of the irregulars are by far stronger than anyone else in the tower, to the point where they could literally end it all if they felt like it.(urek alone could face 1000 rankers and beating them wouldn't even be near his limit, it'd just be worth his time).
It's clear to me that Bam's teams( test team, main team(rak, endo, khun, hwar), and sweet and sour).
Each of the survivors would need to become rankers at least to be truly helpful to Bam by endgame, and that's to hold off enemy high-rankers.
Sator Collins-Forbes Does that even matter if he started out weak. Plus he started as kid. While other irregulars were already young adults. More like he was always op, but had to unlock it. Even Arlene according to Rachel called Bam a monster. So he was always op from the start. Just had to unlock it. By endgame it will be too op, that even all his friends won’t be of any use, except like you said, fighting other rankers. When they become rankers. Even Charlie said if Bam survives this war, he will be an unstoppable beast. Bam grows rapidly. He may have started out weak. But he grows fast and has limitless potential.
Anaak has got to be on the list...
I most respectably reject that statement. It is more along the lines of being forgotten, cuz in my opinion if Anaak is on this list then so is Yeon

I forgot about Anaak until I watched the anime reactors getting hyped about her. Yes, she's kinda missing. I don't even remember she was on season 2. At least Shibisu and Hatz are still relevant, and I guess they'll play big part on this current war vs Jahad army.
I am sure Anaak will have his role at some point in history, where seeks revenge. If not, why give it a past?
Haven't watched but lemme say Sachi and the boi Boro. Loved them and I guess they were used fine but I wanted to see more of them so bad. ALSO EHWA, she got slapped by the snake guy and we haven't seen her since. So much potential with Ehwa, it's sad not to see her. Also the sword guy, is prettty cool and underrated, i enjoy him as a character.
Boro had the potential to be a really cool and meaningful component to the Hoaquin fight which was literally his perfect match up. Instead he was forgotten about so that Bam could solo Hoaquin.... That was his lost opportunity and afterwards he was nothing but cheap comedy and baggage.
Sachi on the other hand should have had his moments in the name hunt station. I contend that Ran was needlessly overemphasized and given too many fights while basically contributing nothing to the narrative. Rather than Ran fighting Inieta, I think Sachi should have been the one to face him solo and fight to the death (as a requirement to get Viole to Kaiser's room), showing off his capabilities and making his accompaniment of the group worthwhile. I think he should have died in this fight along with Inieta, which would give Boro the opportunity to gracefully break from the party and potentially stop climbing altogether ending in a fully demonstrated character arc for the both of them.
I feel like, SIU inserts characters for arcs and just--forget about giving them a role..? This is just my opinion. Although hopefully for the future chapters and perhaps seasons, SIU would give TOG a hype comeback.
The only character I'm disappointed with is Prince. Killed the moment he began to mature as a character
Hockney and Rak are up there for me. I’m still confused as to what the side plot actually was with Hockney, and as far as I remember, he didn’t actually do anything... ever. He looked cool, there was a lot of mystery there and it seemed like he had a strong connection to the main plot with Enryu, but then he just joins the list of new characters from the new floor that are forgotten along with all of the one-time gimmicky mechanics.
Rak is even worse though, I loved Rak early on, though there was still some wasted potential and missed opportunities with him, I figured it was still early and since he was part of the main trio, he was going to have plenty of time to grow. Fuck that! Now he’s the lame butt of everyone’s bad jokes. It’s not that he himself is annoying, it’s the way that the story and characters treat him. He disappears for large chunks at a time, and while we get hints about a power up and backstory, nothing is done with it. He has so little screen time it hurts. Every attempt to remind us that Bam, Khun and Rak are a trio feel really forced, and are constantly perforated by them calling him ‘alligator’ in a derogatory way, which was never funny but had already become annoying a long time ago. I don’t get it, since he’s not exactly a very complex character like Khun. He wants to go up the tower with his friends, and he wants to fight things to grow stronger. So why can’t he just fight things?! He doesn’t have a lot of fights, and probably his best one was almost entirely off screen. It’s very sad...

I am disappointed by the lack of action wolf queen Kaiser waifu is getting.
Her and yeon, the two best girls are the ones we see the least, that's depressing.
You should also talk about Rak in season one he was like at least top 10 strongest regulars on the first floor but now he’s being surpassed by everyone and we haven’t seen much from him. Even though he has loads of screen time we still haven’t seen his capabilities
Not really, you have to understand they are facing stronger opponents. In the beginning, the people, they faced were weak. And Raak is pretty impressive since the ancient power. Before that, he was becoming useless. But since the ancient power, there is a lot of upside potential. Plus they are moving up pretty quickly in the tower. It is less than 15 years and they climbed up to the 52nd floor. That is pretty quick climbing. An average ranker takes 500 years to climb and in 15 years they climbed up to the 52nd floor. Also, remember they face the toughest opponents. As an E rank regular, they dealt with the strongest E rank regulars and a person with the power of a B rank regular. As a D rank regular, they dealt with the strongest D rank regulars and then the hidden floor, and finally the last station. Then as a newly C rank regular they are dealing with rankers. One of the main problems is that Baam's growth rate is crazy high and it is hard to keep up with him. By that standard, Raak and Aguero are doing great and a lot of characters will not be able to keep up. Personally, Anaak is too weak as a fisherman to keep up. Out of the regulars, the best one with Baam is Aguero and Androssi who is crazy talented and Androssi is overlooked in terms of talent.
I feel like if anaak was a side character just like haatz or shibisu rn she would be wasted. No point in shoving her in where she won’t belong so I respect her absence. Maybe lo po bia ren will show up again when anaak is more powerful

Chunhwa & Narae:
probably were just not strong enough to continue to climb with the rest of them. And how would they have been supposed to be mentioned? Like "oh yeah remember those two? yeah they didn't make it!" Why would they mention that people dropping out is something that happens all the time. And let's be honest, it would be worse if they were to appear again, on a floor this high!
Sachi:
I never saw the problem with him.
Hell, Baragarv was more hyped up than him and didn't do anything either!

Chang:
Tbh I was happy about his death, because it showed even if you have left open character points you can die. And I don't see how he could be important either. He lost to A.A. before his big power ups (I know he didn't use his Canine powers but compared to what A.A. has by this point it would be nothing). And you're right the reason why SiU killed him off was a bad excuse
Anaak:
Okay so maybe this is because I am biased... because I never liked her... or rather I never cared for her. But I don't see the problem. She will be important later with the Ren Plotpoint (if that's not done I would agree with you).
But Anaak is mainly a character about revenge. And the people she wants revenge from are way out of her league! That won't change anytime soon!
And even if we put that aside... What is she supposed to do? Hatz and Shibisu can be used for information gathering... Anaak is just a straight up fighter... And the people she would have to fight against to be important in the story are way waaaaay out of her league.
I think if she becomes important later when all the regulars are at Ranker level/Ranker themselves she will be important again. But unlike Endorsi which has other things going for her (for example the shoes falling out of the display story) she is just straight up revenge oriented. Maybe there would be something to do with the rivalry against Ran, but that could get old real fast.
You cant say chunwa and narae couldnt have climbed with the group at least for a while when miseng exists, it woulda been nice for the writer to have adressed them in some way
Yep finally I also have no problem with annak being forgotten and Chang death is also great plot for me. The two from no 5 tho I want them to return.
I thought Sachi was pretty cool and useful for a side character, and his 4th wall breaks made me laugh.
Larou Anaak And the whole team almost that went ahead of khun when he had his team with rachel they just got so pushed aside it makes me mad.
Anak is a very cool character and a very unique being in a tower,a 'half' princess. I always wondering if she was not part of Shibisu team, she might be already become a part of FUG and even might become the Slayer Candidate. Imagine a Princess of Jahad with Slayer title. But that just part of 'if' .I do have high faith Anak will return and do epic stuff.
I think the truth is, as much as SIU creates and introduces so many incredible characters, he probably should have kept most or half of the main characters from Season 1 as the core group. Team sweet and sour, Ran and co. Also all could’ve become part of the main cast or at least recurring much more often
For me number 1 is without a doubt Ghost. Everything about this dude screamed irregular at the beginning and he ended up just being this weak doll.
Beta is my favorite but he is disappointing character. I hoped he was gonna be more developas a villain and like build more to him being redeemed. His missing of action tho I love how he has to stay in a lighthouse to even more around in the tower. His backstory was great, I wished he had more of a reason to hate bam then what was given tho I didn't mind. His a great character with do much potential like anaak.

Watched the entire video and wowww, can't believe that I didn't think of Chang. He was built up to be super cool, and it's a dang shame he was killed off. Looking back yeah, Sachi was incredibly under used tis a shame. But yeah, it's a genuine crime to not see Anaak get the love she deserves. Just look at how set up she is to be important or at least part of the main cast, so much stuff. You expect her to climb the tower with Endorsi but now look at where we're at. Haven't seen her in so long...also I still miss Ehwa....

I still have hope/think that Chunhwa will return. I don't think that the 7 holy swords will be *that* important, but I at least think the concept of the 7 swords and the 'devil' related to their story is something SIU will bring back in some arc at some point.
Sachi fell into the same problems as Androssi during Hell Train, in my opinion. They occasionally get a cool moment, but the majority of their actions involve just transporting the other characters around with the Thornbush Path/Bong-Bong.
I certainly agree with Anak as #1. Season 1 spent a ton of time to develop her relationship with Androssi, and one of the most important plot points going throughout the entire season was Anak's quest for revenge and how Zahard's empire was trying to kill her. She was arguably the second most important character to the overall plot behind Baam himself.... and then she just never did anything ever again except for fighting Ran.

Honestly, most characters are pretty disappointing by this point. They’ve either been absent for large portions of the story (this applies to most of them, like team shibisu, or leroro), done nothing (like Rak) or have had their potential ruined or forgotten about (Chang, Sachi).
Or what about Evan? He’s supposed to be the best guide in the tower, but he’s outperformed by Hwaryun, who’s a regular.

I think that after this whole war ark SIU is probably gonna focus more on side characters. Since after this arc what else is there to do other than for Bam to get stronger. The only way I could see the focus of the
story being centered around Bam again is if he fails to save his master.
A major reason why so many characters become disappointing and irrelevant is Bam and the main hype-lore of ToG.
The amount of time to climb the tower take hundreds if not thousands of years.
Yet we have Bam who powerlevels really hard. 11 years and he is considered a ranker now and on par with high rankers.
Bam just outscaled the story most of the characters you listed. Yet we have Rak and Khun and both of them need some really brutal plottwist to stay relevant, because currently both of them just leeching around for high level loot and xp?
Anaak is just a budget version of Endrossi. Just weaker, more impulsive and more unrefined. So as long as Endorsi is on the team there is zero need for Anaak.

At this point though, I think SIU is trying to balance his original cast and new cast so that some viewers aren't too overwhelmed (to be honest I don't really remember their names, time to re-read I guess). Would love to see Anaak back in full force and more though, ngl.

Tower of God is amazing, and the last chapters are great.. That being said, I am sad that many main characters esp from season 1 took a back seat. I really hope, after current battle, we take a breather and focus more on them and their improvement, maybe even split them in teams based on power level.. At this point, the level of the battelfield is really high so the participants in battle are mostly newer characters, cause the original crew (with the exception of Bam) can barely compete. Now we had some advances with Khuns sweetfish and ice, but he is also in the game cause of his strategic plans and not so much power, Endorsi can sort of compete with others and Rak has potential with rock but still didnt advance enough... others really took a back seat cause the level is sooo high and they didnt have time to improve.. I miss Anaak and Hatz the most. I really wish Hatz gets more important role in the WT, and Anaak to come back. So, while I really like new characters, they just lifted up the level enormously high, and I wish SIU would split them in different teams where some characters would get to shine more and improve, and other one with new ops. (oh and I love Hockney, I wish he gets more role to play)
There's nothing rly disappointing abt Aanak she was good but never important and I'd prefer they focus on other characters than her. Her major part that she played was changing Ednorsi in a way.
I think we just need to have a little patients there is a big arc going on with only really important characters for the story ( except Hatz..dunno what he's doing there btw) so the side characters have no screentime
I really like Kaiser too and even though she is “in” season 3, we dont even see her fight or anything.

Boro was set up to be strong against sword users and then Hoaquin was pissed when he saw Boro again at the station making it look like Boro handed Hoaquin's ass to him in the past but then during the entire time on the hell train we didn't get to see Boro in action for real.
Also what was Yura Ha's purpose during the entire time on the hell train other than being the taxi driver for team Rachel? Endorsi was also around just to be a taxi driver for team Bam. Both of them were around just to have a convenient teleporter using the suitcase and bong bong.

For me tbh Hatz was the most disappointing, i thought he was gonna be similar to Zoro in a way where he fights some strong people but he just ended up being so underutilized, it’s insane
he fights with a princess of jahad offscreen and then gets almost pulls out his ignition weapon only to be stopped. there’s so many people he could have fought
sometimes i feel like this series introduces new characters and then it forgets about the others. i thought the main group (Hatz, Annak, Endrossi, Khun, Rak,)were gonna stay on the same level of strength to a degree but Bam is just so much stronger than all of them and it makes them look and seem useless
Chang 1st for me, I have stopped reading siu's blogs ages ago, since I find it lame that we need outside information apart from the webtoon itself, and if that was siu's confirmation on his death then lol. I guess Siu need to cut some of the chars, coz I think he created far too many, but rarely we see those named ones getting killed off. give them a meaningful death or something other than getting sidelined for no apparent reason.
If I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere that he has a contract with webtoon that specifies the number of panels per chapter. So he either has to cut details, make less "progressive" chapters, or blog. It is clear which he chose.

Man I know Wangnan still exists somewhere, but I'm pretty disappointed with him too. Like you disappear for so long and then your plan just gets chopped to bits and your team mostly dies with ease. I really do hope this red-light district prince thing really elevates him in the future.
I agree with ur list, and I understand that alot of characters cant be stand out at the same time. But instead of introducing a bunch of new characters, like that ancient heroes, siu can develop their old character, like Rak true power, chang, etc

Yeah this really goes to show that there are a lot of flaws in the story and it’s really disorganized sometimes, but I’m grateful for this story, and I really want it to be developed well. Also, this really goes to show the difficulty of developing characters, let alone more than 20+ characters.
I worry for Chunhwa when I can remember him. If he's not being mentioned then Rachel probably stopped having a use for him. And people Rachel doesn't need anymore tend to have bad things happen to them...

Black March spirit - Bam needs her badly in Season 3: The Nest / 4. Urek Mazino - this guy needs an M&M album and a rematch against Bam after Nest / 5. Headon - plot armor reasons (I don't know; I like how he looks)
I think you forget that the main group is climbing the tower at lightning pace, any other regulars that we met while climbing would be a large amount of floors behind the main group and with that extremely hard to weave back into the story. (Maybe some of those early characters could randomly meet some other characters like the Chunhwa and Narae meeting the Goseng / Horyang group, but that would be hard to make work.)

I feel like she should have been expanded upon. I felt like she connected with Khun a little more considering he gave her Manbarondenna and listened to her speaking about love? I didn't ship them but it was interesting how that was highlighted. I wish more of the failed people came back, like Serena and Narae, or we heard more about them because they were pretty intriguing.
I also really needed to hear about Chang, like what happened to his eye. Like.. what the hell did Khun do to him? Did he make a Rachel x Khun joke, relating to two topics that Khun is sensitive about?
Anaak really needs to come back. Even Hatz and Shibisu have been around for certain arcs. I believe that in the princess arc all of the princesses will be expanded upon and I'm really holding out for that but.. could we have had that before the Nest? Or after the Name Hunt station where it would have been perfect? Name hunt station arc was great in terms of princess info, with the Lo Po Bias getting finally explained and more princesses coming in like Lilial and Shilial. We could even hear about Maschenny and Repellista who I am dying to know more about..
SIU missed his chance with Anaak, going to the floor of death to see Garam would’ve been the perfect excuse to see her again
Honestly I feel like team Sweet & Sour (except Wangnan maybe?) is only there because SIU needed a new team to introduce Viole. Once Bam is back with the old team, sweet & sour are just either forgotten or forced to be relevant. Like for example, the story about Cassano and Horyang. Sweet & Sour were tagging along because of Cassano. It started pretty well & important, but ended up having half of the team dead and Cassano (kinda) voluntarily wake Horyang up. It was a let down... Then the remaining members of the team are all scattered, and I don't even remember where each character from that team is.
I love watching you videos not only for the good content but because I realise I pronounce the characters name wrong! Prime example Cassano I don’t know why I didn’t realise there were 2 A’s but in my head I always called him Cassino. Because I’m stupid. Haha
I think there's very good for shadowing for certain character, Anaak being one of them. Those I would count aswell would be Rak, Endorsi, Laure, Yeon, Yuri and Beta. Rak having the power and being a descendant of the tribe that was cursed by Jahad himself, poses a threat and potential growth for him in the future. Jahad would want to eliminate Rak because of his blood line. So he will have to grow stronger(and he will most definitely be on the level of Khun and I believe he will become somewhat the strongest Spear bearer in the story). Anaak's goal to slaughter everyone who's from the Jahad bloodline and potentially from his army, gives her a reason to start and shine the moment the war that Maschenny wants to create, happens. She will join Bam's side who will go up against Jahad, and she won't care if she's lumped in with FUG or not. Endorsi has shown struggles through the story of actually commiting to becoming a fullfledged Jahad princess once she's a ranker. I remember 2 instances that kind of stand out, one on the floor of tests wondering if Anaak's mother was happy with abandoning her position as a princess, as well as on the floor of death, saying "makes me wonder if I should quit too" after confronting Garam. Garam herself points out to Endorsi that she will have to make a decision before it's too late. Hinting at her fate as a Jahad princess supporting an Irregular that is after Jahad himself(or being brought up as a threat to Jahad). Laure is in the same dilemma as he's part of one of the 10 great families, just like Yeon. They're supporting a FUG slayer who's being brought up to become the weapon that will slay Jahad. As for Yuri, we're unsure what happened after they left the Helltrain. She does seem to like change more than the other princess that have been introduced in the story. She will most likely also face the dilemma of choosing between either Jahad's army, or Bam's side. Beta himself is still chasing cassano, trying to figure out how he can sustain his body/being the way Cassano is doing it. Until he finds that out he resides in Khun's lighthouse to slow down the process he will inevitably under go without medication. As for Sachi: He left together with Boro, and they said they're going to meet Bam's team eventually if they just climb the tower, maybe they will seek out Bam's group after the current events, who knows?They will all have potentials in the story once we're through with the current battle and the message spreads of the events that occurred. So I agree with the list, however I believe most of the chars mentioned in the video as well as in the comments will play a bigger role in the future.
Honestly I saw this coming after learning bam gets strong fast. So many floors so many people not everyone can keep up with bam. It's the reason Rachel gets depressed if she tried to climb with bam. For the core character you have to wait for their time to shine

You guys need to remember that Sachi had tone of fights off screen that presumambly carried. Even bam commended when he was inside the fruit of good and evil that if khun or sachi is with the team then they can def clear the stage in less than 2 days. So there is respect among them.
One thing that's tough in my opinion is that some characters have to be built up and then unnecessary if you want the Tower to feel real, like a real place that isn't just the vessel for a story. I would say some of these characters could have been written out entirely, but then you'd be left with only characters who are central to the plot, and it feels more like a fantasy story and less like a fantasy world.
I like that we see characters just for them to never be heard from again, because that's what happens with people you meet in real life all the time. Yes it sucks when someone doesn't live up to their potential, but again, that happens in real life too. Sometimes you think someone's going to have a big impact on your life moving forward, and then 3 years later you remember them and have no idea what even happened to them.
If anybody puts khun, lets fight. I would fight just to touch khun
