Bro wow, you're not just in the highlights comments but even basketball skill set comments omg you're everywhere!
@@johndarwimcabalan7874 right 😂😂😂
Awareness, by default.
My #1 tip for beating a trap.
I think people dribbling over half court need to be way more mindful of getting trapped.
Dudes who get caught out often seem shocked that they got doubled.
They should be thinking "are they going to double?" by default.
Being pre-loaded to expect a double, takes much of the panic/freeze chance away.
Needed this video bad i be freaking out and confused when i get trapped in a pickup game
When I get trapped I look right behind where the 2nd defender is coming from 90% of the time there’s a wide open man there.
@@sixnineratted6382 that works in pickup, but against good teams in real games, they'll have a man ready to jump that pass.
Literally me
just started watching your channel, very informative!🔥
This is literally exactly wat I needed for the past couple years
Thanks! I learned some new techniques in dealing traps I've always been trap in every game and that's been my weakness. Thanks for the tip! Great content by the way
I'm seeing a lot of bad traps from my Hawks
Such a underrated channel! Keep it up! I have been learning a lot! Love from a fan from manila! : )
Great video as always!
Another thing to keep in mind is that your teammates sometimes can get get you in trouble when they don’t position themselves well, as we saw on a couple examples in your vid, as a pg its always good to tell them where to be when traps happen
thanks for this brudda!! 🙏🏽🖤
I definitely learned something from this video, thanks a lot 👍🏾
Could you please make two “Attention to Detail” videos each on John Stockton and Paul Pierce?
Those are two excellent suggestions
Why Stockton?
Drizzie Dre ‘Cause he’s a better version of Trae Young. He can shoot AND play dope defense. Ice Trae can only perform at one end of the court (No offense to him) but he’s a young player.
Stockton ???? 🤣🤣🤣 overrated
@@cole8957 he ain't overrated he's a stud.
I don’t ever comment on youtube vids but ur the goat bruh Preciate these videos 🥇
not to long , not too short vid! love it!
Mann thanks to this all ur give as knowledge man I really appreciate ur effort to give as new tricks and tip how ur channel grow Large
Very helpful! Thanks a lot!
thanks for the great content! bought a notebook to take down tips from every one of ur videos!
Can you do a video on beating backcourt traps (1v1 or 1v2 press break) for the primary ballhandler
Passing
Good idea
1v1 don't rush, if you're skilled enough, keep changing directions side by side. 1v2 the best option is to call for help, but be patient with it because when you're so low down the court while being pressured, the defenders have more blind spots to work with. They just want you to throw a careless pass and it's over
This is honestly the #1 basketball page🤩

You are the goat on basketball. You should coach in the nba or any other league . Thank you for your help
i'm so glad that i saw this channel
damn dude really good video man definitely learned something bout traps Here
Appreciate this my G 💯, do an attention to detail on Paul Pierce & Jimmy Butler
Appreciate the video. I was wondering how would a team get through a full/half court trap.
Great video, thank you.
Glad I subscribe to your channel. Thank you for this valuable information
most helpful video you’ve made
This has got to be what i struggle with most but now i get how to get out of a trap
best youtube channel fr !!
Needed this!
I feel it would be beneficial to most to do an analysis on staying low while dribbling and driving. Micah Lancaster does a great job at training this. How does a player train it by himself/herself?
It’s very fun to spilt the double teams and traps
Damn watching this be giving me anxiety
can you do a video on breaking the full court press. Your video is so helpful to our team
Great Video , Thanks .
Nice, perfect video before sleeping
This really helps thx
Thank you for this video
Thank you so much
ByAnyMeans....YOU IS DA MAN !!!! ✊#Power to the people
Do an attention to detail for The soon to be retiring hall of famer Vince Carter when he was in his prime with the New Jersey Nets please! Your channel is addictive to watch by the way!!
Where do you get all this basketball insight from . You are so smart . That’s why you need to really coach . If you play in any league you might average 60 or something . You are so brilliant . Thank you very much . It’s your biggest fan . Kawhi 802 from Instagram
Thanks man.
Thanks so much
Great video today🙌🏻
This was hella helpful cause I stay getting double teamed in games
can u please do an attention to detail split series n the in n outcurl dribble where u kind of put your in a s n curl the ball when u split
Great advice
Awesome details
1.) Simplicity is key. Make that easy pass.
2.) Use ball fakes
3.) Keep that ball high when pivoting & stand your ground
This is what I been in Search of for a very long tme !!!! Can you create a video about, how to Control a hole court pass games or hot Games for short!!!!!
Appreciate the job
Keep it uo
Great video
Great content
I usually took a step or two between defenders and make a pass or runner when im in this situation
U basically a bigger JP love the vid
Tumi Shahi nah, they been on this. More in depth, definitely more informative
Abby IK true
Thx for the video as always brotha u clearly put a lot of effort into them and u got like 1000 basketball iq
If they trap u use all the things from this video but if u are really panicking and you’ve picked up the ball and they trap u in a corner than u can always chuck it at the defenders feet but do everything in this video first
Fuego 🔥🔥🔥
Solid.
Nice thanks
Another tip: When you’re trapped and you pick the ball up and you’re looking for a pass, pivot into the 2 defenders and bounce pass to whoever, if done right makes the pass easier
Is it possible for you guys to do a at home plyometrics workout vid?
Can you do a weak hand workout session ?
That shit greatness
@By Any Means Basketball Quick Question: What do you think of the possibility of doing a spin seal, or some other type of spin, out of a trap. In 99% of these clips, I could see how these players could potentially spin or spin seal out of a trap. The only player I’ve ever seen beat entire full court presses with traps, and general traps/double teams consistently is Trae Jefferson. He would essentially just spin or spin seal out of them, and he was essentially unguardable. Of course, he isn’t really a big name anymore, but I still remember that game to this day where I watched him beat entire double teams and trap based team defenses over and over again like it was nothing. Do you think this is something players could work on? I know we don’t see it much in the NBA, but could that be because not many people practice it? What do you think? Thanks.
When the trap comes you should already know who is open, by that time you should be computing wether to pass to them directly or if he is 2 passes away
if u pick up your dribble all you have to do is lean back/step out and then quickly lean forward right in between the two players and pass it
You should do a catch and shoot video
Can you break down PG or Tatums iso game
Trae young is super good at this
Can you make a video on pressure defense ?
Awareness should also be happening as soon as your opponents score.
Inbounder should be quick to get the ball from the bottom of the net.
Looking for a long bomb pass to any team mate leaking out.
And be prepared to run along the baseline to get a better/safer pass to the Guard, as well.
Then keeping spacing away from the dribbler, so they can easily pass the ball to you if they do get a full court press or doubled.
A pass is faster than running :)
Trae Young need to watch this now.
Can u do a DSJ attention to detail breakdown?
🔥
Can you do a kemba workout
Now this voice,
I missed this voice.
Basically you gotta be a good passer
You should do a sharifs cooper attention to detail
CP3 cant be trapped NO CAP💯🔥
I could’ve used this a long time ago
👍👍👍
Or how to dribble down full court press?
nice
How to split between defenders with the ball ?
You can "post up" and spin move off one of the Defenders too.
Get your body against them.
Use your steps to give you team mates a chance to get open.
+++
And if you're close to the sideline, remember you can throw the ball off their legs too :)
How about double teaming someone like Harden?
You and pure sweat post at the same time.
2-1-2 Formation breaks a trap just off alignment alone. That was the point of drafting these 3-point shooters in the 1st Place. 😀😀😀
Space & Pace
😭 where was this vid last season
Make a video how to score more points
First🔥🔥🔥✊🏼
👍
More Allen Iverson vids plsss
If you watching this. You will be efficient on court rather than watching crossover or eurostep video
I actually love getting double teamed, I can split them with speed and totally collapse their defense, makes things easier
I got trapped 1 time and there was another guy a little bit further than me waiting for the pass, my team mates are not going closer to me so I tried to rush in the middle and it was a foul for me
