Hey Val. Thanks for the video. I am so close in ordering one of these. ? For you though you stated that after you set your 100 yard zero and zero stop and put the cap back on the cap zero and the zero indicator wont be even. Why is this? And if I was in a hunting situation where I had to make a quick adjustment wouldnt I have to remember where on the turret my zero actually is? That is my only concern. If the cap zero and the zero indicator aren't lined up I can see myself messing up or forgetting my actual zero starting point. Hope you understand what I am saying? I am very new to this and I am trying to figure things out. But want to build my first real long range rifle for hunting and shooting. Thx Val
Should we have at least 10 moa on the bottom because of optical clarity? I would love to here the question answered by an expert ! Thanks for an awesome optic!!!!!
WV Long Shooter FROM VAL: Any riflescope with a lot of adjustment is going to lose a bit of image quality at the very ends of the adjustments, because of the acute angles of the erector tube, causing for that group of lenses to be on an angle so that shooter is viewing through the lenses almost sideways. 10-15 MOA from the bottom would be very good, getting to be close or in the optical zero zone, the sweet spot. That was one of the main purposes of us offering the Ram 200 Adjustable MOA Mount.
I own 4 IOr’s from 10 years ago. 1.5-8 and 2.5-10 will not track properly. Sent the 2.5-10 into Val and it was sent back stating their was no problems. I wouldn’t trust this guy or these scopes. I own trijicon, Bushnell hdmr’s a leupold mark five hd, an eotech 5-25 and they all track fine. My 2-10 pst vortex tracks fine. I should have listened to the guys on swfa’s site when they said these scopes still have mechanical issues. Koshkin the optical guru over there said they had all been fixed. Well he was wrong. Maybe they are fine now but they didn’t stand behind their warranty then so do you suppose they will now.
Thanks Val, excellent explanation. The Crusader scope is working out great - awesome optic.
Very nice explanation, if you can show us how to zero stop setting can be done on Crusader scope will be so grate.. thank you
Will try to get that done in the next few weeks! Thanks for the reply
