Hi Steven - thanks so much for another brutally honest and amazingly helpful video. I have been a heavy drinker for 25 years and made countless previous attempts to quit. It was one of your previous videos that finally convinced me to do this. I am now 2 days without a drink, which I know doesn't sound much but is a record for me. Please know that this content is incredibly helpful and very much appreciated. Without being too melodramatic, finding your channel has pushed me into making a life saving decision to finally walk away from alcohol.

Having watched a lot of content on the subject of Alcohol and how to keep off it or at least cut down on youtube from many different people , I find yours the most helpful and a real encouragement not to go back to old destructive behaviours, You have had some pretty horrific experiences and yet you have come through it and are here giving real help to people who need it , thanks again.

I am watching loads of content from people like you who have had major liver issues through drink. Even tho I know my drinking was never at the same levels a lot of you drank… it’s still not good for you. There’s still no benefit. Problems will creep up on you. I probably feel the best I’ve felt in a decade right now. There’s so much I want to do with my life. Wasted too much of it on alcohol

@@BamBam-me8sf hi there I don’t mind at all …my problem was a cumulative affect after many years of drinking lager - beers ..in the end my body was so weak that it took very little to make me intoxicated and sleepy ..the height of my drinking in my early 40’s I could drink 15-20 pints of lager over a day …

@@stevencurry215 I'm subscribed. Whoah, that certainly is a lot. Surprised anyone can have that much liquid go through them in a day, let alone alcohol. Well done on staying sober, a lot don't!
