I ran across this video again. Yes, everything you say about sobriety is so true. I was 53 days sober and I relapsed due to bad events in my life. Thanks for the video. I am going to stop again. My health and my bank account will love it. Making that decision to quit is hard but doable. Many blessings to all. Moment of silence for the one who is still suffering.
Been a while since I watched a video like this. I’m a few months shy of 3 years sober and I remember when I was contemplating giving up alcohol and in the early stages, watching a lot of videos that touted benefits of sobriety. I didn’t really “believe” them because, really… the idea of never drinking again was just so not something I wanted. I was sure my life would be miserable. Anybody watching this and seeing this comment, lemme tell you - the benefits of sobriety are real and so much more than you can ever comprehend. It is truly an amazing gift. The only regret I have is waiting until I was in my 40s to get sober. I wish I’d done it sooner.
Congrats on 3 years! I was the same way before getting sober. I thought it was gonna be so boring and I wouldn’t ever have any fun any more. Sobriety has opened up so many amazing things for me
Needed to see this!!! That’s what I’ve been holding off on quitting for. I’m 28 and it feels like I’m leaving the party early but when you’ve been the party for ten years…. It’s time. It just is.

Somehow I woke up one day and I said this is enough..! Super hard at first I’m not going to lie. I went through withdrawals and kept thinking about having a drink.. I am now 40 days Sober and feeling amazing. I love being Sober I’m not going back to where I was.. ever.
I can relate to this iv struggled for years on and off anxiety, last week had a breakdown drinking anxiety slept for 3 days a total mess, as I started to come together a weird thing happened to me like an awakening everything was clear and I had to stop, 8 days in the fog has lifted feel a lot better, stick with it iv lost too much and I have got too much to lose to ever go back
I hope you're still going. Just remember, you're never in the safe zone. Relapse is part of recovery. So many times I've thought Yes! I've done it. I felt in the safe zone and then the alcohol crept back. Be careful.
I've actually had people accuse me of being an alcoholic BECAUSE of quitting. Of course they're all heavy drinkers/alcoholics who don't get how bad it is for you. Hope you're still doing well, 2 years for me today. Thank you for the insight fellow teetotaller.
This is 100 percent true. Literally everything. I was sober for over month. Broke my sobriety tonight. But I'm done drinking alcohol. It's so bad for your body and health.

How do you gain weight after quitting drinking and little damage to your liver. My husband lost a lot of weight when he was jaundiced, how do he gain it back?.. He Is completely sober now
Mark G we are brothers on the AA and thank u for sharing,,, i still cannot understand why it is called anomenys alchoholics, because when and alcoholic is sober he is proud, at least i am and i love to talk about mis use of substanser because life is very short :-D

127 days. Saving money. Learning guitar. Not going back to ethanol. I know I can not drink like a normal person and take it or leave it…I tried that before…so I bloody well quit. I keep busy. i walk and go to the gym when I can. I drink de-alcoholized wine or tonic water with ice and a lime…it’s a good substitute for me. Good video. Thank you.
150 days! I broke my old record of 144 days. If you go to a private event, always throw a tonic water or ginger ale in your bag….bring your own stuff. Also, I had no idea how much cancer is related to alcohol consumption…breast cancer, ladies. I don’t think of myself as an alcoholic….that just gives you a built in excuse, ie, “I couldn’t help myself, duh, I’m an alcoholic.” Keep your diary and let the venom out!
Right! It’s crazy it’s classified as a class 1 carcinogen. It’s proven to cause cancer. Yup, especially breast cancer. And yet it’s so widely accepted in society
I have suffered from depression too, since I was a teen. And took meds for years while slugging down a ton of liquid depressant, wondering why I never better, lol. But now that I am sober (16 months) I have actually been able to manage my depression without meds! It is amazing. Sobriety is hard work but so worth it. I wouldn't trade my peace of mind for anything. Congratulations!
Congratulations on 16 months! That first year is the hardest. Having to relearn everything. Thank you for sharing your story. I’m so glad you were also able to manage your depression and drinking
Yes the tablets they give you are no good I have been on them they make you worse than what you where before I you can think with a very positive attitude for get about the drink and try go forward think what you would like to do now you are Sober best of luck Bill
55 days and I was not an alcoholic. Just wanted to experiment for a month, but I love it, how I feel. BTW, stopped cigs, 85 days, adding sugar, 32 days, and weed 17 days. Feel great
90 days tomorrow and i can't believe it! Best thing you can do. You have to trust yourself life will be just fine in fact better. It took me 11 years from my first attempt to really believe and trust myself in this journey and if you believe its good, it will be good!❤
Thanks for the information I decided after 40 years of binge drinking I had enough . I did nt feel right . God am I glad I quit ! Feel soooo much better now way more relaxed and can breathe a lot better . Day # 105 now 💪
I'm almost at two years. It's great to watch all of the people who started with me appear to get younger as we trudge together. Amazing stuff, life is good.
I drank in my teens, I drank all through my 20's and 30's. I'm going on 40 and I'm ready to stop. I've cut down but still frequently poison myself when I do drink. Thanks for the motivation.
Thank you! I remember you talking about your sobriety journey in a video a while ago and it was really inspiring. 4 years is amazing! Sobriety really is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves.
You totally Rock! The first 2 years were the hardest; this August will make 7 years. I wouldn't trade sobriety for anything in the world. Thank you for sharing, you are a good example for anyone who thinks they can't evolve.
2 years sober on Jan 15th after 23 years of misery and you have hit it on the money with this video. Thank you and congrats. For me 2 years seems more like 4 considering how much ive been through so 2 years is an amazing accomplishment so i appreciate the hard work.
9 days sober from alcohol and cocaine that’s was my social vices .!!! I feel more in touch with society and the world around me, I’m 44 and after 15 years of wild partying to present in my bedroom, getting stoned high and wasted drunk in the early morning! For me it’s all about motivation determination willpower selfcontrol. That’s my vision of practice. Positive vibes and energy ⭐️
Im with you, it took antabuse to get me there but Im here 3 mths down the track, cant say Ive noticed any significant benefits yet but no hang overs, more money, more time to focus on other stuff and knowing Im not giving my body a hard time is a pretty good start.
5 days and sober. I just had enough at rock bottom and tired of it. I need a different life. With no worries thank you for your video. I was meant to find this.
Came out of hospital last week after a 2 week detox program and The Best thing I've ever done only been 3 week's sober but feel so much better mentally and physically
I never thought I had a problem at all. I would look at people that drank every day, all day like they are the ones that have a problem. Meanwhile i would go out every weekend, I worked for the weekend drinking. I realized that I might not drink every day, but I drink enough to be a big problem and didn’t even know it. I would drink at least one day a week or even more since I was 17 (im 30 now) and NEVER thought it was a problem. I thank the internet and UA-cam because I would of probably never stopped and known there is a community for this. Thank you and everyone else for telling us your stories and making everyone else feel better to stop drinking ❤️
I'm so glad this video helped you out. I'm really glad that sharing my story can help others to not feel as alone. I was the exact same. It took me a long time to realize I even had a problem. I thought if you were an alcoholic, your life and health had to be falling apart. Then I realized just how much alcohol was holding me down and how it looks different for everyone. I'm glad you're getting more clarity now on your drinking habits.
Totally relatable, I’m on one year and a half alcohol free after drinking for about 7 years and….BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. Every area of my life has improved LITERALLY. To become mentally and emotionally sober is the real “win behind the win” lol thanks for sharing
I did 2 years and 4 months sober and finally broke my sobriety when my friend met me at San Diego airport with beer in his car. It was such a magic moment I couldn’t say no, i have no regrets, I drink in moderation now and can go weeks without drinking and live a very happy life.
Coming up for two years in September; I’ve had half a dozen beers since then as I do have an interest in the ever-evolving craft ale market. These days it’s mostly experimenting with loose leaf teas, sticky chais and artisanal coffees. Interestingly, I quit out of desperation because of the constant migraines and vomiting I was getting - it turned it was the crap flickering fluorescent lights at the office I was working at. That was also solved with wearing orange tint glasses, which also handle blue light glare.
I'm suffering. It seems like I can only go 2 days without it. I'm drinking myself to death and I'm miserable. Thanks for this video, I hope one day I'll get to where you are
So sorry to hear that. I was definitely in that same spot for years. Then one day it finally clicked and I got tired of living for alcohol. I hope for you the best. You’ve got this!
True Story - I bought the book Allen Carr's How to Control Alcohol.... Then I found someone had uploaded the audio on UA-cam. Here it is... ua-cam.com/video/lsTLkZ71ANA/v-deo.html
Its 8 hours long so I listened to it in 1/2 hour segments. After 30 plus years of self abuse I stopped drinking at the 2 hour mark. I'm done with it. And I did it BEFORE the book arrived!
Thank you for a great video and guidance! Key for me was when you said - more energy to create a life I want rather than numbing the life I have. Dig that!
Still going…243 days. There are wonderful no alcohol champagnes and no alcohol red wines that look good in the glass. The whites of my eyes are white again and not yellow. That took 6 weeks. I took up guitar and I love it. I feel happy. I have had a few mornings where I have woken up feeling like I had a hangover…..which was odd, I keep a diary, but I am not writing every day and not much super emotional stuff is coming up. I think more people in the world are quitting drinking alcohol. Japan’s young people are not drinking and the market for alcohol in Japan is under pressure. Thank you for your videos. I feel like I have one less thing to worry about.
Thank you for this video. I just started being sober but I wanted a drink today because I felt stressed out. However this video reminded me of all the positives I’ve been feeling since going sober. And when you mentioned tea, that sounded so much better than an alcoholic drink so that’s what I’ll do! 😍
I’m so glad that this video helped remind you of the benefits you’ve been having while sober and helped to keep you sober. Stick with it. You’ve got this!
trying to go till october without drinking.. eventually i want to give it up for good but i honestly dont think im ready.(feelings may change in a month). i find it most difficult on friday and saturday when my friends are feeling hyped about going out and trying to get me to come out with them. i also love drinking and having a good time. i got thru my first weekend sober this weekend and i love how i wasnt hungover. I kind of felt a power over my friends when i viewed their stories out drinking like thinking to myself - "wow does not seem as fun as its claimed to be" and im thankful i can see it from that perspective now. I want to live long and a healthy lifestyle. wish me luck on this trial period haha.
Totally get that. That’s how I was in the beginning. The thought of giving it up for good seemed really daunting, so I would make milestone goals like that. It’s definitely harder when you have friends that always want to go out and you’re at the bar every weekend. I’ve been really surprised that a lot of bars carry more and more options for non alcoholic beers. Those have been helpful as well, but some people find them triggering. It’s really up to you. And I totally agree, the next day is the best, when everyone else has a hangover except you. That’s when you realize you made the right choice
@@DamnTastyVegan Hey thanks for the reply. So I picked up golf about 3 months ago and just went night golfing with a buddy and had my best round. I'm really improving and playing better sober for sure. Ik a lot of people that like to drink while playing. If i was out drinking tonight which my friends currently are doing then I wouldnt of had this experience. Overall I feel amazing right now and don't see any upside to drinking and this is only after week 2 (after i get thru tomorrow xD) the amount of productivity you gain from being sober is incredible and at the same time life changing. I cant believe im seeing the positive results even after just 2 weeks. (Probably have saved close to 3-400 dollars also!)
I just found your channel and I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have seen this video! I have a very alcohol dependent lifestyle. And what makes it worse is I have a degenerative disease so alcohol just inflamed my symptoms. I haven’t had a drink in three days and I already feel so much better! But I was scared I didn’t have the motivation to keep this up. I feel so hopeful after seeing this video! THANK YOU SO MUCH! ❤
I love this. Tomorrow is my 25th birthday and I have decided not to drink for the entire year of 2022. I want to build out my van home, work in film and tv and live life to the fullest. Life is too beautiful to be distracted from it with alcohol.
I just started my sobriety a few days ago and I already see and feel the huge difference! It’s so inspiring to look forward to everything you’ve mentioned
Absolutely one of the most practical "get sober" videos ever! Straight to the point and no BS. It was like having a conversation with a friend giving proper advice via their experience.
I've never had a drinking problem(& don't deal with alcohol) but most of the advice u offer in this video is what I suggest to my friends who like to drink (but don't necessarily have a drinking problem), particularly finding activities to engage yourself (rock climbing and such).
Yes! It sucks that so many social activities are centered around going to a bar and drinking. It’s good to find other activities that aren’t, even if you don’t have a drinking problem.
11 days sober...Been binge drinking for 35 years im 51 now...Done dry jsm then rekapsrd at my birthday party..Apart ftom 3 months off in first lockdown , drank one or two nights most weekemds, plus vacations, holudays etc...Hangovers , anxiety, depression gets worse as you get older plus wasted money , days off of work, wasted relationships etc etc. ..This vudeo is spot on..Well done...I feel better already, much better and my gym workouts fitness cycling etc etc is much better, gonna learn to play guitar etc..Amd ues weekemds are magical no hsngovers etc..
yesssss the depression and anxiety goes down ten fold after you STOP!!! :D I used to wonder why sober ppl were so annoyingly happy but now i get it lmao. Ur finally at ur normal again, i realized i was not nearly as depressed as i thought i was!! but it also helps getting away from the wrong people. More energy, for sure. I slept like 10-14 hours, often, in my 20s and just thought i was a heavy sleeper. it didnt occur to me until I learned you do not get REM sleep when you are drunk, that was probably why i slept so long. half of it was just being passed out. not asleep, passed out. Its a good tool to know that though, as a way to keep yourself from drinking... that fog brain is the worst. And I believe the lack of sleep is one of the things that leads to alcoholic related dementia but I could be wrong, taking a guess really. Anyways, its great. I love being able to sleep a solid 8 hours and feel great when i wake up. Usually I feel likei have regrets when i wake up after a night of drinking. Im just really glad i dont feel that way anymore. The benefits far outweigh most if not all of any positives. unless ur trying to have a baby or something, LoL, I dont really see the point anymore!
Thank you very much for sharing this. I felt that I didn't have any reason that I really cared about enough(like...myself) to start... stopping. But after hearing you, I believe that I actually do. You seem to have sown a seed in me. Thank you.
From a highly educated, kind, generous, loving, and successful human being that is also struggling with managing both their past and present, and remains uncertain about their future, thank you. Just thank you.
It's a great idea to "take a breather" and reflect. I'm on third week, no plan really, maybe continue to new year, or for life 😌 Feeling great, saving money and loosing weight. Passed the first party saturday, with flying colors. 🏆
Wonderful to hear you don’t need alcohol anymore. It takes a lot of strength and determination to do it. I see you have beautiful skin, clean eyes, and mental clarity, things that is hard to achieve while being addicted to alcohol. Best of luck !🌷
Hangovers, wasted days and having to go to the car the next morning to see if I hit anything on the way home the previous night was the absolute worst 🙈 Going into week 3 now, aiming for 52 then will see. Awesome video, thanks 👌💃
3 weeks sober here. I was getting a little out of control there for a couple months. It was making a breakup so much harder. I'm feeling better now, less depressed and anxious, more clear-headed, better sleeps, but I'm excited to get back to wine after I complete a month sober (not gonna lie!). However, alcohol will be something different to me now. I'll have to really have a reason for a drink, not just as a habit. And switching between drinks and hydration will be my standard. And leave getting drunk for rare occasions with the right friends. Not gloomy Sundays...
Thank you! I needed every word you said. Please keep posting . We need your lighthearted way of expressing the beauties of AF lifestyles! I’m subscribing! Thx

Congrats on being sober for almost two years! Yes, there are so many benefits and it’s so nice to wake up without a hangover and with a little extra money in your pocket. Thanks for the message.
Great motivating video... Not preachy or naggy.... I want to cut down on wine.... Drink too much and your video has given me lots of food for thought... Thanks💕
I really think you hit the nail on the head here: being sober is SO much better than going through endless cycles of being drunk / tipsy / buzzed and then hungover. Holding onto that and knowing that alcohol only serves to take all those benefits away is what keeps me sober.
Great video, I've been struggling with alcohol for years. I'm ready to seriously stop for good! Thanks for sharing this story!!! I just subscribed to your UA-cam! I'm vegan too and I could use advice and support in that area too, so I'm super excited to see more of your videos!!!!
Awesome video!!👍👍 I'll be 2 years sober, January 15th, 2023. Life is so much better, that's for sure. I'm retired now, and back into my music. I'm a guitar & vocalist. Studying/working on jazz improvisation. It's finally coming together really nice. I use to drink while practicing, and after a few drinks, I could never make any serious progress. Wasted alot of years drinking/partying, hanging out in bars/clubs, etc. I'm not only making progress in my music, I'm also in the gym 3 to 4 times a week working out, and I've also picked up walking several days out of the week as well. The sober life, rocks!!! No more hangovers😬👍🤗
Wow! Sounds like you really created a beautiful life after getting sober. I love how all of my hobbies came back to life after I stopped drinking as well.
It's very early days into my stopping of drinking..in fact only 3 days ..but it feels different this time...I can't put my finger on why that should be.. but I'm not complaining
143 days sober. Great video…watching it again. I also keep a diary. A lot comes out about why you were drinking. Make sure you can hide it or lock it in a box as that gives you freedom.
I wish you all the best with your journey 🩵 i have been sober for 6 months now, easily the best decision i've ever made. It's hard at times but also worth it all. Good luck to you and all others here reading my comment , you are all beautiful 😊
80 days sober and I am just now feeling better about the being alone and not feeling like I am missing out. I am no longer with my partner of 10 years also and the last night together I exploded about all of the things that I was suppressing and holding in. to keep him around and think it was better to sit in a bar or at his house partaking in too much drinking and smoking, just to stay around him.
We have never met. I just wanted to tell you that I Love You and I am extremely Proud of you! I will be one year free from the sauce on December 6th. Building a life that you love is the key phrase I am trying to apply to my daily life. I heard this phrase from a TedTalks video, and the phrase was this, "Instead of wondering when your next vacation is, maybe you should set up a life you don't need to escape from. ~ Seth Godin" Stay hungry and thirsty for health, adventure and meaningful relationships... Much Love...

Right! It’s crazy it’s classified as a class 1 carcinogen. It’s proven to cause cancer. Yup, especially breast cancer. And yet it’s so widely accepted in society
Plus diabetes I'm pre diabetic from drinking i quit for a week now
I have suffered from depression too, since I was a teen.
Feel great
Awesome! It’s always good to take a step back from substances and really look at your relationship with them
90 days tomorrow and i can't believe it!
Day # 105 now 💪
Congrats on quitting! That’s amazing. It’s never too late.
I'm almost at two years. It's great to watch all of the people who started with me appear to get younger as we trudge together. Amazing stuff, life is good.
Congrats on two years and to feeling younger!
I drank in my teens, I drank all through my 20's and 30's. I'm going on 40 and I'm ready to stop. I've cut down but still frequently poison myself when I do drink. Thanks for the motivation.
Yeah after a while, being drunk just becomes exhausting and isn’t fun anymore. Good luck!
Sober since almost 4 months...the best decision ever in my life...😍
Im sober since only a couple weeks but i feel exactly the same about alcohol
Everything you said
Lot of negative goes away and it feels amazing😇
Congrats!! I relate to so much of this. A little over 4 years here - best 4 years of my liiife
Thank you! I remember you talking about your sobriety journey in a video a while ago and it was really inspiring. 4 years is amazing! Sobriety really is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves.
Latasha Can you please share the link to that video of your sobriety story
You totally Rock! The first 2 years were the hardest; this August will make 7 years. I wouldn't trade sobriety for anything in the world. Thank you for sharing, you are a good example for anyone who thinks they can't evolve.
Congrats on seven years! That’s amazing. Sobriety is definitely amazing
10 years sober, 1 year Vegan, here. Its been life changing... all around. Thank you for sharing your story.
10 years! Congrats!
Sobriety opens up a gateway to freedom that drugs just don’t do .
Absolutely.
30+ years drinking and now coming up to one year sober... absolutely love your video and everything you said rang true with me. Thank you.
Congrats on one year! That's amazing! Thank you for watching. I'm so glad you loved the video and found it relatable and helpful.
2 years sober on Jan 15th after 23 years of misery and you have hit it on the money with this video. Thank you and congrats. For me 2 years seems more like 4 considering how much ive been through so 2 years is an amazing accomplishment so i appreciate the hard work.
Congrats on 2 years! Yes, I feel like the first year was the hardest. Happy to hear you’ve found happiness without alcohol
Saving money, keeping your system cleaner, Clarity and focus. No one needs alcohol in their system. Great video!
I’m 9 days sober. Everyday I watch a video to keep me motivated and encouraged. Thank you for being open and doing these videos!
Congrats on 9 days sober! You're doing great! Keep it up
Im with you, it took antabuse to get me there but Im here 3 mths down the track, cant say Ive noticed any significant benefits yet but no hang overs, more money, more time to focus on other stuff and knowing Im not giving my body a hard time is a pretty good start.
I am late to this party but I found this hugely inspirational. Thank you. I have woke up this morning and decided things need to change.
Good luck to you, I just started 2 days ago
5 days and sober. I just had enough at rock bottom and tired of it. I need a different life. With no worries thank you for your video. I was meant to find this.
Congrats on 5 days sober! I also got to that point where I just had to change and do something different
You're not in this alone
Hope your doing well xx
And im 75 days alcohol free, never felt better
True Story - I bought the book
Allen Carr's How to Control Alcohol....
You are on the right path. Keep watching videos like this. It doesn't have to happen today, but you are headed in the right direction.
Thank you for a great video and guidance! Key for me was when you said - more energy to create a life I want rather than numbing the life I have. Dig that!
yeah, that is good
Totally agree on the mood swings and mental health! I like that you found a way to allow yourself 1 a year or the occasional sip
I don't know what's better. Getting drunk or the relief of getting over a bad hangover. I enjoy not getting hungover.
(Probably have saved close to 3-400 dollars also!)
on the shallow side, not drinking makes your skin look amazing. you look fantastic.
Thank you! It really does! I used to be so puffy and red
That sounds lovely! Taking time off of drinking helps to change your relationship with it. I definitely became way more productive
Thanks for sharing this. Love the part about geeking out on tea! It really is a great replacement! Have a lovely day and good luck on your journey ✨
11 days sober...Been binge drinking for 35 years im 51 now...Done dry jsm then rekapsrd at my birthday party..Apart ftom 3 months off in first lockdown , drank one or two nights most weekemds, plus vacations, holudays etc...Hangovers , anxiety, depression gets worse as you get older plus wasted money , days off of work, wasted relationships etc etc. ..This vudeo is spot on..Well done...I feel better already, much better and my gym workouts fitness cycling etc etc is much better, gonna learn to play guitar etc..Amd ues weekemds are magical no hsngovers etc..
yesssss
the depression and anxiety goes down ten fold after you STOP!!! :D
I used to wonder why sober ppl were so annoyingly happy but now i get it lmao.
Right! There are so many gifts in sobriety. Waking up without regret, deeper sleep, less depression....so much!
This was so honest and so inspiring! Thank you! Day 4 for me excited to keep going 🙌
Congrats! Being sober is one of the best gifts I’ve given myself
Thank you very much for sharing this. I felt that I didn't have any reason that I really cared about enough(like...myself) to start... stopping.
But after hearing you, I believe that I actually do. You seem to have sown a seed in me.
Thank you.
Coming up on 30 months, love the life style, congrats, great to hear your journey
Congrats! 30 months is great!
This is a really good straightforward video. Congrats on 2 years sober!
Thank you so much!
3 weeks with no drinks. Great video, thanks...
Congrats on three weeks! Keep it up
From a highly educated, kind, generous, loving, and successful human being that is also struggling with managing both their past and present, and remains uncertain about their future, thank you. Just thank you.
Clearly humble aswell
Almost 8 months sober. Doing AA but really get a lot out of all the information on UA-cam. Lots to help get/keep sober. Gracias ❤
It's a great idea to "take a breather" and reflect. I'm on third week, no plan really, maybe continue to new year, or for life 😌 Feeling great, saving money and loosing weight. Passed the first party saturday, with flying colors. 🏆
Yed, indeed! It's always good to take a step back and look at your habits and addictions. Congrats on three weeks!
This video is my whole live explained in words since I’ve stopped drinking. You hit the target 🎯 with this one
Yes, definitely don’t miss those things at all. So stressful. Congrats on 3 weeks! Keep going
Congratulations! I’m 2 months sober! I didn’t have a problem with it so it’s not a big deal! But I’m proud of myself and feel really good about myself
It's always good to take a break from alcohol once in a while just to reassess, even if you don't have a problem. Proud of you!

Thanks💕
yea Sober!!! 4 years 5 months today for me! let us lift each other!
This video could have been me….totally relate. 27 consecutive days alcohol free!
I really think you hit the nail on the head here: being sober is SO much better than going through endless cycles of being drunk / tipsy / buzzed and then hungover. Holding onto that and knowing that alcohol only serves to take all those benefits away is what keeps me sober.
What i have learned is I don't get drunk, it is a totally different person you hand your body over to the drink then you get it back the next day
Thx for your history, it was helpful. You also look good sober
Thanks for watching! I feel so great too
Not having a hangover is a Super Power! Well said.
Great video, I've been struggling with alcohol for years. I'm ready to seriously stop for good! Thanks for sharing this story!!! I just subscribed to your UA-cam! I'm vegan too and I could use advice and support in that area too, so I'm super excited to see more of your videos!!!!
Im 2yrs 14mths 3 weeks sober at midnight 28th April 2023 super proud off myself works if you work it cuz ur all so worth it keep pluggin in.❤❤❤❤
That's awesome! Congrats!
Awesome video!!👍👍
I'll be 2 years sober, January 15th, 2023.
Thank you. You are very motivating!
I'm a tea fanatic... Vandham or Steve Smith teas .... the Masala Chai and Golden Sunlight. Thanks for your wise words
I honestly love this for you! I am so against drugs
143 days sober. Great video…watching it again. I also keep a diary. A lot comes out about why you were drinking. Make sure you can hide it or lock it in a box as that gives you freedom.
Great idea. It’s really interesting what comes up when you take time to dive deeper into your drinking habits
7 days now and going strong Friday seems to be the toughest but I made it
I wish you all the best with your journey 🩵 i have been sober for 6 months now, easily the best decision i've ever made. It's hard at times but also worth it all. Good luck to you and all others here reading my comment , you are all beautiful 😊
Great video. Thanks for sharing 😊
Excellent video thank you for sharing that
We have never met.
Thanks for this. You have really hit home with me. Makes me feel less alone.
Many thanks. That’s so helpful. I’m just on day 109 but it really helps with my momentum.
Keep it up! That’s great
Thank you so much today is the first and hopefully the last day of a journey I never expected to be on.
You've got this!
Oh my gosh thank you. I drank to do things I didn't want to either. And I want to try the tea!
Right?! It was like my liquid courage instead of just setting a boundary
Thank you, motivational and creating hope at my end.
I'm a heavy whiskey drinker but will try the mei-leaf tea method as part of the regimen and hope it helps. Thanx much for your tips!
It has been tow years for me, this January 2nd, 2023. I can relate to all of the things you have mentioned. Merci ! 🙂 for a great video ! 🙂
You are gorgeous! Good on you, i'm 5 months sober right now.
I am so lucky to have found your channel. I’m a wine head who is seriously thinking about quitting. TEA! Yes!! I am subscribing NOW
Yes! I’m such a tea head now. Actually drinking some right now! Lol
Yes is a fantastic life no hangovers no arguments you’re brains clear and you think straight but always have positive thoughts and you will be fine
Absolutely love not waking up with hangovers. Don’t miss that at all
Excellent video ! Thanks for the inspiration and great info and for all the wonderful links you shared.
You’re very welcome! I’m glad this video helped you out
