Really honest and open journey with alcohol. I can relate with my relationship with alcohol. I’m the 50 year old electrical engineer who starts drinking from 1pm most days .finishes by 7pm and up for work every day . Switched from lager to strong 8% cider . Sadly just been diagnosed with alcoholic fatty liver and up to 23 stone . Selfish as have a 3 year old daughter. Always in denial tho . Great channel and really helpful 👍

Tomorrow will be my 23rd day sober. I’ve been watching all of your videos for months now to mentally prepare and now maintain this sobriety. Feel pretty decent without alcohol as well - you can get a good high from a long run followed by some NA beers. Cheers for all ur videos. You’re making a big difference to my life.

Well done Steven for pulling through and spreading your story. Alcohol should have a universal best before 30 years of age. After that your chasing the good times you had with friends . After 30 the friends are all married off and all your left with is the booze and its not your friend. My dad was an alcoholic . Lost contact with him when I was 7. Never saw him again until I was 40 . Got told he was dying and I went to see him in hospital . Died a few days later.

I'm not an alcoholic, never have been (I'm 74). I rarely drink; only at a celebration of some sort--but three drinks is my limit. I NEVER buy booze for my own consumption. I've watched several of your videos and enjoyed them. I admire you. Keep up the good work! ❤

Its great to see a good decent man alive and kicking against all odds. I have the same issue but not with alcohol. All addictions will destroy you In different ways. But I have to say that alcohol is particularity nasty in the way it slowly eats away at your healthy and your soul. I was helped in 4 or 5 different ways. some of it luck, some of it just getting tired and fed up of the grim lifestyle, gym work, meditation etc. What helped you in recovery and what are the things that pushed you forward to a better life? Please share if possible your lifelines.
