see, this is the main reason that it was very hard transitioning to some of the pvp aspects of the game. suddenly defense became important and that speed thresholds are suddenly +150 and above
People who rune Fran "wrong" are all early/mid game, they don't even do RTA, or arena, barelly siege. People just throw wharever the fuck they happen to have on her. And guardian level players don't rune anything wrong, they know what they are doing and if you see a Fran in a guardian account that is runed weird... is not wrong, you just don't know how the guy use the mob. I have in FL a g2 rta dude that uses a C.D/atk Fran, low hp low def, goes with a hibrid yolo comp, works prety well based on the replays, fast matches so better farm. Saying to someone that don't have anything that he's mobs are runed wrong don't do any good... look at that full fatal Fran at the video, give me a break dude c'mon I almost died after seeing that. Is not "over-complicate", is DE-complicate it. Don't tell early/mid game players to rune mob's like end game players, they don't have runes, "mid game players" are in fact, early game players with a Not sooo bad acc. Can't get more simple than that. Stick with end game players tips, giving tips to early game players it's a subject that requires a little more attention to details, like, reality.
@@youknowwho257 The main difference between most mid-game and guardian level accounts... is the runes they have available, not their runing knowledge... most mid-gamers (if given a guardian runebox) would be able to rune things just fine...
Thanks for putting this out there Bagel! I've been struggling with my Forest of Roaring Beasts lvl 5 team and I keep bricking runs. It looks like I'm missing some speed on my Fran, which is the reason I've been failing, this video helped me realize that and make an auto team. Thanks!

You should really make a series on how to rune very popular monsters,you can put multiple ones in the video,especially the ones that are used in gb10/db10/toa etc for their purpose and so on.
I’m pretty proud of my Fran. She’s runed SPD/ATK/ATK with plenty of HP subs. Vio/Broken HP: 10215+11033 ATK: 670+1271 Def: 461+201 Spd: 103+110 Clearly their are much better but she has carried me through alot.

Wouldnt say Vio will is best build, theres a point of swift frans for rta, it depends on your box/team if swift or vio is better. And if youre that high, you dont need to worry about other content really anyway. Dont know what server you are but my guildies run 300 spd swift will/revenge Fran in guardian rta. I personally prefer her on spd/atk/hp actually, like... Almost no mobs use atk on slot 4, so I can give her a really good rune if I give that slot to her. Sure, the tankyness is a priority, but then I might end up with lower overall stats because she got a worse rune... That, and most stuff I rune are runed with what I have left, which is hardly optimal... >.>
But she's useless if she dies due to lack of tank stats, and bombers always appreciate really good atk% slot 4 runes. Unless that atk% rune has amazing hp% or def% subs*, going for tankiness is always better, especially because you can just get atk% subs and she still heals fairly nice.

And it's why my Fran has slot 4 atk%. As for bombers... Well, building bombers without Seara is something really low on my priority list. And even then, I'll build like... 2 bombers at most? And they probably won't use Violent Runes anyways, so they won't need that slot 4 atk% rune that Fran got. Only mobs that use Violent slot 4 atk% are atk based healers and Seara IMO, in that case I think it's a very good idea to give that to Fran.

Even though Fran is assigned as a 3*, she isnt a normal monster, she was an event monster that they brought back and then buffed to insane level. I dont think they intended her to be at the same power level of a 3* that just happens to be what they assigned her at. Like Fami, she doesnt have to follow the same rules. Would be nice if they game a way for everyone to get Fami
For newer players who've watched this till the end around 17:30 Jewbagel is pretty awestrucked. What he's talking about is a max roll on the legendary vio enchantment gem (+13%) plus a max roll on legendary hp grindstone (+10%). The stats together is worth like two to three rolls on top of that it has insane spd and decent other stats to go with it.
Mines a happy medium, even though I just threw some stuff together. I plan on making her faster and tanker. I have a hard time speed tuning my team's though
yay.. bagel looking at early-mid game players and thrashing their builds cause they don't have super op endgame runes.. like, seriously.. 10:10 WTF... this is like two/three midgame runes combined! and that is my tiana speed on my fastest swift set.. (i'm playing for ~3 years and farm all day!) alright, ranting aside.. that's some good examples of dumb 3xATK builds.. overall conclusion: great vid still luv u :) lol XD

I'm kind of a new player, and i have a question about the violent-will build on Fran. If the goal is to have your fran move first to attack power buff, why do you need to put will runes on it?
What are the best runes for fire ryu? I just got fire ryu like a few days ago and I still think my rune set isn't good enough, especially since i started this game almost a month ago.
Lol those 6 fatal runes got me :D But I don't think think it's fair for those beginners to say 'you need more of .. every stat!'; I would love to see more like a gradual stat priority order. With poor runes you always have to sacrifice one or more stat to get something else
I wanted to add also 2 this that Fran does not need as high attack because her attack buff also helps buff her heals. So even if you can sub the attack you need and only speed n hp. You will be ok.
I mean... Sure for rta I need to focus on her tankyness but depending on the early/midgame content I use Fran in too much tankyness can be unnecessary. There is no benefit in DH if Fran almost can't die, but my other units are more likely to die if her heals are lower. As long as you hit a certain amount of tankyness and speed, attack on Fran is probably more useful on Fran for PvE content. Though most of the wrong runed Frans you showed fail to hit those speed/hp benchmarks to work in all PvE.
i dont really do any rta. im like c1 arena. i use fran in mostly pve and gw. that said mine is only like +87 speed on vio revenge. she has something liek +17k hp, +900att, +500def. her build is mostly for living in dungeons and healing a LOT. i understand why he showed the RTA builds but its really not optimal when 80% of the viewers dont even touch RTA and use fran in all of their dungeons and gws and stuff. a build where you focus a bit less on speed and more on tank/heal is more optimal in everywhere else but RTA. a build like mine suits her uses in dungeons and gw far better imo. he shouldve showed a more PVE centered one.
I can't rune anything even close to this with speed/HP/HP. Is it worth trading 750 attack and 72 def for 3500 HP and 64 speed? She isn't even targeted in the places I use her.
dont. He sucks ass, his 2nd skill does basically nothing, i mean it destroys hp, but it doesnt do any damage lol. (His damage on that skill scales 1:1 to your defense so if you have 5k def youll do 5k, (Def buff also works with it though.)) His passive is only really good in raid but there are better FL tanks that actually do something. His 1st skill is cool I guess but just use any of the other 2 if you have them, otherwise just dont because even the other 2 arent very good.
Hey, now I don't feel so bad about the runes on my 2nd Fran anymore xD (+19k hp, +770 atk, +144 spd, vio will). My first Fran is on Tolerance and Fight sets though for Tartarus on Hell difficulty. She is SOOOO effing good for that.
@@denzel5500 It really isn't, sadly. The amount of stats you can gain from subs is so absurdly low, that even a max rolled flat stat will still give less benefit than a minimum rolled stat%. You can use a flat stat in case you don't have anything better, but even a +5% def for Fran would be better than a +20 def.
I just got mine not too long ago, now she is just waited for the correct runes. Because I currently don't have good vio set for her, I'm still smacking the dragon boss like crazy.
Hey guys, I’m early game and have Chasun and Bella. Unfortunately Chasun according to subreddits..etc has fallen off (not sure if its true). Just wanted to ask if I should go for Fran in the ancient shop. I really want elsharion, and then maybe I can go for Fran, I also want the dark vamp lord at some point as well. Just wanted to know your thoughts on this. Who should I get first?
I use my Fran in necro (49 second best time, usually sub 60 seconds) as the fastest on the team. She either shield breaks or atk buffs 1st move against the boss. The team is 100% successful. She’s on fight energy revenge spd atk atk, +13000 hp, +92 spd, and huge heals. I also run her in labyrinth against Tartarus. These stats probably don’t unlock her full potential for pvp, but it’s definitely not built “wrong”. I’d put my Fran up against any spd hp hp violent build for what I use her for and watch her come out on top. I intend to build a 2nd Fran for rta that will be a fast violent tank, but there isn’t another unit in the game that would shine as bright as Fran does with my big heal build. Kind of shortsighted to say that there is only one right way to build such a versatile farmable f2p friendly monster.

The Fran I 6-starred recently is runed Energy Shield for a starting GB10 and for extra health in Necro (early game account)

Fran is my most used healer for almost every scenario. Spd lead is also really nice for utility

I'm kind of a new player, and i have a question about the violent-will build on Fran. If the goal is to have your fran move first to attack power buff, why do you need to put will runes on it?
It make no sense, use nemesis runes, there are very good for Frans ability
What are the best runes for fire ryu? I just got fire ryu like a few days ago and I still think my rune set isn't good enough, especially since i started this game almost a month ago.

I can count on both hands the amount of runes I have with % subs in the twenties. I've been playing for almost three years. Sheesh.
Then ur doig something wrong man, rune only has to roll once into for example hp% and u can already have 16%. Then use 1 grindstone and u got 20%+

Lol those 6 fatal runes got me :D But I don't think think it's fair for those beginners to say 'you need more of .. every stat!'; I would love to see more like a gradual stat priority order. With poor runes you always have to sacrifice one or more stat to get something else

I wanted to add also 2 this that Fran does not need as high attack because her attack buff also helps buff her heals. So even if you can sub the attack you need and only speed n hp. You will be ok.
I mean... Sure for rta I need to focus on her tankyness but depending on the early/midgame content I use Fran in too much tankyness can be unnecessary.
There is no benefit in DH if Fran almost can't die, but my other units are more likely to die if her heals are lower. As long as you hit a certain amount of tankyness and speed, attack on Fran is probably more useful on Fran for PvE content. Though most of the wrong runed Frans you showed fail to hit those speed/hp benchmarks to work in all PvE.
i dont really do any rta. im like c1 arena. i use fran in mostly pve and gw. that said mine is only like +87 speed on vio revenge. she has something liek +17k hp, +900att, +500def. her build is mostly for living in dungeons and healing a LOT. i understand why he showed the RTA builds but its really not optimal when 80% of the viewers dont even touch RTA and use fran in all of their dungeons and gws and stuff. a build where you focus a bit less on speed and more on tank/heal is more optimal in everywhere else but RTA. a build like mine suits her uses in dungeons and gw far better imo. he shouldve showed a more PVE centered one.
skies If you’re using Fran in nb10 she can be replaced with Colleen and Colleen is better for nb10 anyway

He sucks ass, his 2nd skill does basically nothing, i mean it destroys hp, but it doesnt do any damage lol. (His damage on that skill scales 1:1 to your defense so if you have 5k def youll do 5k, (Def buff also works with it though.))
His passive is only really good in raid but there are better FL tanks that actually do something.
His 1st skill is cool I guess but just use any of the other 2 if you have them, otherwise just dont because even the other 2 arent very good.

Hey, now I don't feel so bad about the runes on my 2nd Fran anymore xD (+19k hp, +770 atk, +144 spd, vio will).
My first Fran is on Tolerance and Fight sets though for Tartarus on Hell difficulty. She is SOOOO effing good for that.

But I mean in the subs because if you rune for example an Arang (for r5) which has low defence getting flat def subs is good right?
@@denzel5500 It really isn't, sadly. The amount of stats you can gain from subs is so absurdly low, that even a max rolled flat stat will still give less benefit than a minimum rolled stat%.
You can use a flat stat in case you don't have anything better, but even a +5% def for Fran would be better than a +20 def.

yeah, I am still keeping that atk% rune ins Slot 4... 20 SPD more in subs > 3000 HP due to the main stat.

I just got mine not too long ago, now she is just waited for the correct runes. Because I currently don't have good vio set for her, I'm still smacking the dragon boss like crazy.
If you don't have vio, swift is a good alternative, as long as she's fast and tanky swift should work fine, especially if you're using her in db10 :)

Hey guys, I’m early game and have Chasun and Bella. Unfortunately Chasun according to subreddits..etc has fallen off (not sure if its true).
Just wanted to ask if I should go for Fran in the ancient shop. I really want elsharion, and then maybe I can go for Fran, I also want the dark vamp lord at some point as well. Just wanted to know your thoughts on this. Who should I get first?
I use my Fran in necro (49 second best time, usually sub 60 seconds) as the fastest on the team. She either shield breaks or atk buffs 1st move against the boss. The team is 100% successful. She’s on fight energy revenge spd atk atk, +13000 hp, +92 spd, and huge heals. I also run her in labyrinth against Tartarus. These stats probably don’t unlock her full potential for pvp, but it’s definitely not built “wrong”. I’d put my Fran up against any spd hp hp violent build for what I use her for and watch her come out on top. I intend to build a 2nd Fran for rta that will be a fast violent tank, but there isn’t another unit in the game that would shine as bright as Fran does with my big heal build. Kind of shortsighted to say that there is only one right way to build such a versatile farmable f2p friendly monster.
