Allah Help them in their Lives here and then after.
Having worked in a metal shop in the USA, I can say that these men are constructing these mixers the same way a small metal shop would here; they only do not have safety equipment. May God keep their backs and eyes strong.

No CNC, No multimillion dollar production facility just hard work and skill getting it done. Amazing the level of quality work these workers can achieve with just minimal tools. True craftsmanship.

He is closing his eyes, at 12 i burnt my retina's bad enough to wear patches for 3 days, i used a stick welder to put a tab on my minibike muffler, to much of a hurry to go get my helmet, 50 years later and the damage is still there and can be seen by eye Dr's. and i have a good supply of floaters in my eyes, skin cancer would be a worry for the welder and everyone within 20ft.

I have concrete mixer, that my father bought from company he worked in in 1980's and it aldready was alt least 10yo, he fixed bearings in motor and main shaft, and it lasted till 2020, when I stepped in and threw in new main bearings. Not in every country tools like that are considered disposable.
Good Lord, what have I just watched. My God, these guys are absolutely amazing. I have a Mechanical Engineering degree from Liverpool UK, so I know a little about welding, lathes etc. What these guys have done, with primitive 1st world war equipment and no safety equipment, tables, jigs etc is nothing short of a miracle. I've been reading about the rampant corruption in places like Pakistan and how small businesses are never given a dimes worth of help by the corrupt politicians and government. Just imagine what a world beating, world class industries Pakistan could produce with just small investments. I am absolutely amazed, gobsmacked at what I have seen. I pray that the workers get some safety googles, and gloves and safety shoes. But I guess the only make enough just to pay the wages and the electricity and gas bills and very little is ever left over for R&D. God bless to all.
What you study about in College helps these guys do what they're doing, most of the parts they use bearings the research you make enables these people to choose right parts to use. otherwise without the knowledge of researchers they won't have the tools to make these stuff.

Ingenuity of these folks never ceases to amaze me. Building a cement mixer from scratch or making a perfect copy of a Beretta gun using hardly more than child labor and yet never to bother to actually build a paved street outside those machine shops.

This man knows his job very well.Although it is a difficult job particularly making the mixer run around without tangential deviation is a real trick.All thumps up to you fellow workman and a brother.
No, he doesn't. He doesn't care much about welding mask, breath protection, and gloves. UV radiation is very dangerous not for eyes only, but for skin too. Welding gases don't make his lungs healthier. And don't tell me that gloves and respirator are too expensive. No, they aren't. And medical services are much more expensive.

Enjoyable to watch. I am guessing they have a blueprint or template of what they are building. Reminds me when I fabricate something and adjust as I go. The only problem I see is the more they work on it, the heavier it gets! lol.

No suelda... Solo "puntea" y para ello cierra los ojos. Esa es una práctica muy común aquí mismo entre soldadores o calderero. Lo ideal es una careta automática pero es muy incómoda para realizar esa fase del trabajo... o sea , el planteamiento de todo lo que vas a soldar bien después.

Не вижу ни чего экстраординарного. Это обычная ручная сборка. Все детали из металла по шаблонам. В се другие заказаны по размерам. Остается только сборка. Умение варить металл, это да. А все остальное-театр.
So I'm guessing the main guy (most experienced) in this video is tacking it up and another (apprentice?) is doing the final/ finish welding......I'm a cattle rancher in the U.S.A., and believe me, we sometimes weld without helmets and use whatever scrap metal laying around to mend gates and equipment too. Really appreciate the hard earned talent here.

Where do I buy one of these? That mixer is the right size, and heavily designed to last a long time. Hopefully it was off to the painter, and the fabricators are not getting ripped off for their good work. Nice product my friends.
I can understand why they did not put a tow hitch on it because that city is jammed packed way more than New York City people walking down the streets crossing-over intersections( while people are on bicycles those little cars and pedestrians all put together) but they are very hard workers they have to go home feeling good about they're self that they accomplished something for somebody else's convenience these videos are always great...jonjon...JJ...

I have used the word Jugad in the sense that these people can make a beautiful, functioning machine With not a lot of modern equipment.

A gas line was laid on the road which caused the road to be dug and by chance, it was raining on those days when I was shooting the video.

Used them for 20+ years. I never saw one that was perfect. They all had a little bit of wobble. Mostly due to wear and tear.

There are lots of welders in India that tac no protection. I’ve not seen one go out of there way to protect their eyes.

I can understand why they did not put a tow hitch on it because that city is jammed packed way more than New York City people walking down the streets crossing-over intersections( while people are on bicycles those little cars and pedestrians all put together) but they are very hard workers they have to go home feeling good about they're self that they accomplished something for somebody else's convenience these videos are always great...jonjon...JJ...

Hi, would you share the measurements of the individual pieces here so that I can try to build one for myself ? I need one that will be able to handle at most 450 liters, which is almost 1/2 cubic meter of concrete. Your machine here looks like it can handle this just fine. your response is greatly appreciated.. Many thanks.
