    Yo Cami, I presume you’re on the job. One thing you need to take into consideration is, when does the first truck company arrive? The engine at the front of that building, it’s their first in. So, there not laying line to supply a truck. Also consider, LAFD likes to put the first truck company on the roof, for offensive ventilation ops. The second-in truck typically will “soften” the building for entry. Leaving the third in truck for master streams. Everyone has their own way of operating at a commercial occupancy.

      Or at the very least put a halyard system on their aerials so they don't have to put a man up there to operate the pipe. LAFD are pros but that just doesn't make sense to me when there's an option; just one more way to get a man hurt and there's certainly enough of those already.

    Why do they leave the water in just one stop? I would think moving back and forth would cover more area and put it out faster? Its just a question, please don't chastise me for asking a question. But an explanation of how dumping hundreds of gallons of water in one spot will put it out faster than the same hundreds of gallons over a larger area? And Go!

    It is totally ridiculous, that in this day and age, with as many options that are available from fire truck manufacturers; Los Angeles Fire does not have pre-piped water ways on their ladder trucks so that they can flow master streams with greater water flow at these large fires.

    Also all the math firefighters have to deal with on the trucks. Also seeing how much water there using how long it takes to put out a fire and how much water is flowing out of the trucks and calculating how much line of the hose there dragging off the truck to hook to the fire hydrant. They also need to know how long its gonna take to get to the scene of a car accident or house fire or incase someone is sick and they need paramedic or medical attention as soon as possible.

    • @nphil93992
      @nphil93992 4 роки тому +3

      The ladders in LA don't have a fixed pipe and in some cases a nozzle permanently attached, they have to get hoses attached to the nozzle at the top of the ladder before they can pump water. I don't get why LA doesn't have any tower ladders.

    • @justanotherguy1110
      @justanotherguy1110 4 роки тому +2

      Like Nathan said. Apparently LA doesn't have pre piped waterways or pre piped nozzles on their trucks. So it takes them quite a while to get them setup and ready to use. Personally I think it's stupid and doesn't make a lot of sense. But whatever, that's their deal.

    Who Signs Off on These Commercial Buildings With No Sprinkler systems

    • @rabidseabee7229
      @rabidseabee7229 4 роки тому +1

      Contrary to what Hollywood would make you think, when a I fire starts the entire sprinkler system does not trip. For that matter, only the sprinkler directly over the fire will trip and only after there is a minimum of 350 degrees Fahrenheit to cause the mercury capsule in the sprinkler head to pop. Liquid sprinkler systems are an assistant to the Fire Dept, they are not meant to stop the fire.

    "Массивный коммерческий огонь" - на то он и коммерческий (что там горит?!): такие толстые кишки и двумя огромными псюнами в один проем залить не могут - фигеть. Не зря в омерике гидранты такие толстые и их много и блюдется за ними уход, ведь там коммерческий огонь. Вообще, сломать пожарный гидрант в США это очень тяжкий грех, поэтому в некоторых штатах (Новом Орлеане например) законом запрещено привязывать к ним аллигаторов (а крокодилов может быть можно?).

    Also hat Gott die Welt geliebt, daß er seinen eingeborenen Sohn gab, auf daß alle, die an ihn glauben, nicht verloren werden, sondern das ewige Leben haben. 17 Denn Gott hat seinen Sohn nicht gesandt in die Welt, daß er die Welt richte, sondern daß die Welt durch ihn selig werde. 18 Wer an ihn glaubt, der wird nicht gerichtet; wer aber nicht glaubt, der ist schon gerichtet, denn er glaubt nicht an den Namen des eingeborenen Sohnes Gottes. 19 Das ist aber das Gericht, daß das Licht in die Welt gekommen ist, und die Menschen liebten die Finsternis mehr als das Licht; denn ihre Werke waren böse. 20 Wer arges tut, der haßt das Licht und kommt nicht an das Licht, auf daß seine Werke nicht gestraft werden. 21 Wer aber die Wahrheit tut, der kommt an das Licht, daß seine Werke offenbar werden; denn sie sind in Gott getan.
