I'm seeing that you over think it way to much. Calm down, take a breath, stop moving pieces, and figure out what needs to happen.
This is the technic I used for the super square 1

Raj Ramey-Rodgers what I mean by stopping and thinking is taking a breath, look at the cube, then think of what you want to do. Most people when they try these cubes always twist and turn and do random movements. They don't stop and just think.

the basic concept for switching one corner piece is switch it with the center piece, use R2 U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 (same alg you would use for sq-1) to flip it around and then put it back.
