It’s sad that a security team is necessary in the house of God. But unfortunately our society has gone bonkers. I know it takes a lot off effort to keep everything secure. My respects to the security team. Hats off. May God bless Lakewood.
The house of God is not in man made walls, The Lord makes that clear, the "church" is in our hearts and for Thor that truly have faith, the won't have "security" just "in case" God doesn't come through.

This guy isn’t just talking, because hiring off duty law enforcement officers is NOT cheap? This church put their money where there mouth is, and should be commended big time for that! Thank the Lord for this church’s leaders concern for the safety of their Parrish members.
*In such a wicked world, God isn't going to allow every act of wickedness to come to pass* Even though God allows or disallows acts of the enemy to either go ahead or be stopped. All things work together for good for those who love God. Glory be to God for stopping this evil act with his power. And also for empowering the 2 armed security guards to act swiftly. God we pray for the 7 year old who against his will, was dragged into that act of evil. ✝
God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness to us all. Even as we are faced with our toughest battles God is there for us. That’s why I keep faith as I struggle to provide for my children. I’m a single mom. Both of my sons are special needs. I started homeschooling them so my hours to work are limited. As I struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay my rent I know God is with me. He’s the only reason why I made it this far. Lord continue to keep us safe.
Stop already, you are always everywhere doing this, and for years! Be greatful enough to learn your situation out of at least some comments, you say this EVERYWHERE. BE GREATFUL YOU HAVE YOUR CHILDREN AND YOU ARE NOT STRUGGLING!
God comfort the broken hearts of the survivors and take away sleep from cowardly and irresponsible legislators until they do their duty to protect the vulnerable, and the human rights of others, such as the right to life and security.
This should be a sign for all the staff, and members needing to repent and fully turn to Christ and Christ only! There is greater condemnation for the ones who teach the word.
It was a test. Remember Job? He said shall we only accept good from the Lord and never evil? Maybe talking to more people about God would help them not commit acts of violence like this
