Just a quick tip from Spain: if you want a more natural way of cleaning your teeth / mouth, try to use bakingsoda with a little bit of coconut oil (mix it until it becomes a paste). Works perfectly. Hello Scott, I'm always excited to see you have recorded a new video. Smart wool bands and premium coffee. Your living a good life. I like the scenic drives and walks that you take us along because I will probably not ever see those places without you. I seem to get a flare of energy when the weather shifts to spring temperatures and light winds. Your adept at finding parking spots that support your lifestyle. I haven't parked st libraries for a night but have napped there during the day. I frequently drive at night and then sleep mornings. I have worked nights for years and still am still wired that way. Here I am watching you prepping and cooking your burrito. It's interesting how methodical you are . Salt light must be on and coffee made perfectly. I like sugar crisp apples and also fugi which I can get here. No flying goat coffee here so it seems to be a west coast product. I think it's possible to over plan. I like you try to be organized and have a system to do things efficiently. It does give rise to retracing my steps when things don't work out as planned. I have to say to myself....does it really matter? In the bigger picture my daily routine doesn't call for a lot of lofty ideals. I'm trying to simplify my processes and achieve the same amount if satisfaction. I'm not chasing things as hard now. Did you find a greater sense of happiness doing more with less? ❤
I wasn’t parked at the library. I was parked on the street next to it. I never park on private property unless I have written permission from the property owner. Flying Goat Coffee has only two locations, both in Healdsburg. Yes, the simpler everything is the happier I am.
Healdsburg is where I bought my camper van conversion. A partial build. I’m almost ready to hit the road (now 5 months later) I had to liquidate, changed my lifestyle and this will be my retirement. Maybe I’ll see you out there. Another great video, Scott. Thank you.

I add cream to my china black tea, too. Yum. I like cinnamon, turmeric, ginger sprinkled in. Read that black pepper improves turmeric, so added black pepper too.
My friend owns lots of goats in Guernville and I thought maybe some of them got loose! 😆 We go to the Russian River twice a year. Occidental in December and Monte Rio in the summer. Love all the towns on the River! Here's a good tip, keep some magnesium oil spray on hand and spray the bottom of your feet then rub them together. Magnesium helps you sleep and gets in your system faster than orally. You can buy it at Whole Foods. Also, Pt. Reyes Cheese is very tasty!
Because of you, I have 3 bottles of Yellow Bird in my cupboard. Already replaced the Serrano one once. Thanks for that suggestion, it changed the enjoyment of my breakfast.

I use to take a baking class and we made homemade croissants once, it is kind of a long process but the end result was soooooo goooodd and buttery, it was just soooooo good. Oh and homemade caramel is to die for.
I think when you use the filters over and over again it clogs up and then you might risk the blow out. But I really get a good cup of coffee with the aero press.
I have a funny memory of the Russian River. I was 14 or 15 years old on a 50-mile canoe trip with a group of scouts. We paddled past a nudist camp and had a guy swim out, grab our canoe, and ask us if we were cool (to make sure we didn't have cameras).

My guess is that it was the center support from a bridge crossing that was flooded out in the past .records from major flooding that have occurred over and over in the past about two times a decade.glad you are enjoying Sonoma County. Would not surprise me if the slab in the river was part of the highway that slid into the river with the big quake in the 60s! Ours was the last car (mom driving) that went over the hwy we felt a huge bump and road slid into river of course they then shut it down
Healdsburg is a great small town, I have lived there on and off for many years, and Santa Rosa is manageable and not too bad either, as far as larger cities go.

Wow, I'm absolutely blown away by the charm of Healdsburg, CA! Watching this video made me feel like I was right there, soaking in the allure of this nice place. It's definitely sparked my interest to visit and hang out in Northern California!
My local roaster has been out of commission due to some kind of construction work for over a week now and so I’m having to settle on other brands of coffee. Quite the dilemma. WM has a brand called Jubilee coffee roasters and they are out of Denver. I just opened up a new bag of the Ethiopian. One level scoop in the aero. Water not boiling. Very smooth and good for a $13 bag of coffee (10oz) not cheap but not over the top either.

The town of Pt. Reyes is very nice too. It has two coffee places, one is a small bakery and serves coffee and the other one is at the other end of the street inside an old barn where you can sit outside on a couple of picnic tables in the sun. Just a nice relaxing town, mainly one shopping street. There’s also coffee served inside the small grocery store too. Just a relaxing visit then you can continue driving along the shore (rte. 1) to the next town of Inverness. Stop at the little grocery store near the water, park in the huge parking lot and you’ll be treated to gorgeous views of the water and surrounding hills across the way. Lots to do on the Pt. Reyes National Seashore, several towns along the way with gorgeous views everywhere. It’s one of my happy places when I’m stressed because it’s nearby. Now don’t tell anyone about my happy place as I want to keep it a secret.🤫 😀😊

I luuuve trying different kinds of organic toothpaste and apples! I googled all the ingredients in my regular toothpaste and found out all the ingredients are toxic!!!
Hmmmm. Regarding the split filter, I no pretty much nothing about the aero press, but wondering if you could have replaced the filter and poured the "coffee slurry" back through and "re-pressed" it a second time?

Healdsburg is a beautiful city. You should try walking just beyond the town square where all the shops are and you’ll be treated to a variety of beautiful homes and gardens in the surrounding neighborhood.
My nephew was married in Santa Rosa in 2009. My husband and I ate dinner at a turkey restaurant. I think it was called the Wild Bird. It was really good. I wonder if that restaurant is still there.

I’ve not been eating them as often, For some reason. I miss having chickens, just the best orange yolks. No comparison to the taste of fresh eggs.
To save the coffee you could have poured it back in the aeropress, put on a new filter then plunged it again. If it worked you saved it, if now you just got another filter dirty.
The brew time would have been over seven minutes at best. Brews over about six minutes give me an upset stomach. If I could have poured it quicker, I’d have re-filtered it
@@StaticCamperVan Yes that would have been a very long brew, time to dump and start over. The biggest flub I have made (so far) is while brewing inverted early one morning I for got to put the filter cap on. It made quite a mess when I turned it over to place on the coffee cup.

Another good local cheese is Joe Matos Cheese west of Santa Rosa near Sebastopol. It is a tasty Portuguese cheese in the style of St. Jorge.

Hmmmm. Regarding the split filter, I no pretty much nothing about the aero press, but wondering if you could have replaced the filter and poured the "coffee slurry" back through and "re-pressed" it a second time?
I could have but the coffee would have been over brewed and bitter at that point

Hi Scott. I use the stainless reusable aero-press filter. Environmentally friendly and never rips.
In my situation, a reusable filter would require much more water which would be a problem

My nephew was married in Santa Rosa in 2009. My husband and I ate dinner at a turkey restaurant. I think it was called the Wild Bird. It was really good. I wonder if that restaurant is still there.

To save the coffee you could have poured it back in the aeropress, put on a new filter then plunged it again. If it worked you saved it, if now you just got another filter dirty.
The brew time would have been over seven minutes at best. Brews over about six minutes give me an upset stomach.
If I could have poured it quicker, I’d have re-filtered it
@@StaticCamperVan Yes that would have been a very long brew, time to dump and start over. The biggest flub I have made (so far) is while brewing inverted early one morning I for got to put the filter cap on. It made quite a mess when I turned it over to place on the coffee cup.
