- Hello everyone! Welcome to this week's first ASMR video. In this video, Alisa gets into my studio and starts recording a video by herself. She really doesn't know what she is doing. As you all know she is a very unpredictable person and loves acting randomly. In the video, she uses my props and tries random triggers on your eyes, ears, and face.

I've had chronic insomnia for over 10 years now and have never been able to fall asleep without issues. I discovered ASMR 2 years ago and it's been amazing in helping me fall asleep. There's a lot of reasons to love this, not the least that you have an incredible ability to completely inhabit other characters (and play off them in multiple takes, because your Twin videos are genuinely Orphan Black levels of acting alongside yourself.)
But the thing that makes me happy about this one is the way it maps to the ongoing journey into english fluency on your channel. Alisa is a lot of things, but she is also a very affectionate memory of what it was like to be brand new in a new language. That thing where the word escapes you, and you know that trying to remember it will interrupt what you are trying to say, so you just mime it? Everyone who has ever tried to speak a language they are just starting to learn to a native speaker has done that.
It's just... very sweet, I think, the way you are so obviously fond of your own learning. It makes me very happy.
As fun as this is, I never really feel safe being alone in a room with Alisa! 😬😅

I've never listened to ASMR with headphones before. This is a weird but very tingly experience. I'm only wearing headphones so my boyfriend doesn't judge me. 😅
