Do you now regularly use lossless scaling or mostly try to natively achieve the fps you need to play?

For older AAA games, mostly I play with lossless scaling. But for newer AAA games, I play natively and use AMD RSR for upscaling.

I don't see any changes in any game using RSR, because it doesn't work because of the vertical screen not detecting as you say the correct resolution.

For me RSR in the quick menu doesn’t work, but in AMD Andrenalin Software, it works fine, and the result is huge. It works only on Exclusive Fullscreen.

Got to AMD Andrenalin -> Turn on Radeon Super Resolution -> Set device resolution to 2560 x 1600 -> Set in- game resolution 1280 x 720 -> when open the game, it will scale automatically and you will get on screen message from AMD that Radeon Super Resolution is active.

At Max TDP, with both Resolution & Graphics setting set to Very Low, I still can’t get 60FPS, it may look choppy on screen, but in reality, it’s playable. After that, I capped frame rate to 36FPS for better gameplay.

It's sad when you have ghost tsushima that looks just as good. If not better than this game and runs significantly better on all handheld devices

Agreed, Ghost of Tsushima is a well-optimized game from Sony. However, Horizon Forbidden West is quite a challenge; even at 30W, 720p, and very low settings, I still can’t get 60 FPS.

Ghost of tsushima is made for ps4. This game is made for ps5
