This is why I was not surprised to hear about Amanda Byne's mental health issues. Jeannette McCurdy mentioned how Dan Schneider was inappropriate to her, so I wouldn't be surprise if he did the same to Amanda. He wouldn't give her her own show without asking for something.

i want to thank Jeanette McCurdy for being one of the very first persons to speak out about this. nickelodeon came to her and offered her $300,000 when she was like 19 years old and said if she wanted the money she had to sign an NDA. Jeanette turned that blood money down and wrote her book “I’m Glad My Mom Died” where she was able to freely speak about her time at Nick. She blew the doors off first and now we’re seeing documentaries about it. i hope Dan Schneider is put away forever for his crimes.

But the issue is that these "parents" are the ones sacrificing their children to these predators. How many times must we hear about Holly-weird child actors being used as sex objects? I want you to look at this young black female "That Girl La La" outfit in this Nickelodeon song... /watch?v=ZRbpmnFKBUY
And there's another Nickelodeon commercial with a random black girl sticking out her tongue to the camera which makes no since. These "parents" are the one approving this. And it's like you all want to ignore the parents wrong doings and only blame the predators who are being served innocent children on a silver platter. Predators cannot have access to these innocent children if the parents won't allow it.

Exactly what my point is made on my opinion on it. Nickelodeon allowed 4 adults who literally worked with children do damaging things to them. But the most sad thing is this: NONE of these Nickelodeon stars even HAVE a successful adult career now no less. None of them have big time movies or tv shows or anything now except Ariana Grande no less. And even she is being traumatic by it too. But never the less, they have to fall back on doing a documentary series about their childhood careers being abused and treated inappropriately because honestly none of them have anything going on in their lives now. Also I’d like to point out this, Nickelodeon truly was my childhood as well too. I grew up watching All That as a kid and loved the sketches but didn’t anyone even noticed how some sketches like All That or Amanda Show Or Victorious Or ICarly that some of the stunts and things they did didn’t seem appropriate for kids to do? I mean if you think about it, some of them seemed disturbing and wrong. Not only that we saw lots of sexual stuff that kids shouldn’t have done no less. Like for example girls wearing bikinis or the feet jokes or the disgusting dares like we saw in that clip no less. Even having overweight boys removing their shirts and doing it as comedy jokes no less. Didn’t Nickelodeon even LOOK at what they were doing?! Or even ALLOWING? Not only that but what’s worse was that besides Dan Schneider and Bryan Peck, Nickelodeon allowed two other adult men work for them and one of them ALREADY had a case involving sexual abuse with a child and Nickelodeon STILL allowed it to happen. If anyone is to blame, Nickelodeon is and their stupid messages on this wasn’t apologetic at all.

It’s not the channel‘a own fault. They were run by bad people at the time. Cyma Zarghami, along with the late Sumner Redstone, Phil Daumann and the board of directors at their parent company ViacomCBS (paramount global) have caused way too much trouble for the channel trying to compete with Disney channel’s live action shows under Anne Sweeney’s leadership. Nickelodeon wouldn’t have let Dan Schneider got away with that bullshit in the first place if not for Zarghami and friends’ evil schemes. They made Nickelodeon into what they are. So sad what happened to the kid stars.

The child endangerment charge was a plea deal that Drake took for RESPONDING to the fan’s messages and her being present at his concerts without his knowledge. She lied about her age to get him to talk to her and once he found out about her age he blocked her on all forms of social media. The media has reported a lot of misconceptions about his case so I just wanted to clear that up.
