excellent strategy as usual! i defeated him with a mix of melee swings and magic from afar. btw, i finally defeated messmer! i even had health to spare. i respec'd so i could become more agile and that did the trick!

Thanks, so now I know on my level 15 character to use a hammer to break poise.
I’ll most likely use the rot hammer and put a poison ash of war/infusion on it so I can proc both and break poise

I just go the dlc and it is like every enime that is a little stonger than a non move in thing has the same power as Elden beast
Beat it second try with comet. Most of his attacks don't even need to be dodged until the quil phase
What was your scadutree blessing level when recording this? If i try at blessing level 5 he will still 2 shot me.

Useful tip : stay near his neck because his attacks cannot reach you ( only in the first phase )
