Uganda is listed as one of the most hospitable countries in the world and it also comes as one of the top countries in Africa with a happy population. The people are extremely friendly As for security it is relatively safe but you have to take precautions especially in crowded places and in the late hours of the night.
‘Development’ is not necessarily a good thing as many people think. In Uganda, we live happily without drastically affecting the nature around us. We don’t do concrete jungles.
Just paradise, not poor when they have land, Yes with greedy leadership but that's changing. I Can't say the same for the western societies, UK for instance.
Afrika had no religions, hence Islam and Christianity are NOT indigenous Afrikan "religions!" So, they cannot be "indigenous" to Uganda! Both these religions are foreign to Afrika and got into Afrika via invasians, wars, and enslavement of Afrikans.

It is best to first visit and experience both countries. You can then decide on which country to settle in based on your experiences.
Visited in 2023, got married to now my ugandan wife and soon God willing planning ro relocate there. Love the place
