Welcome to the "I'm getting sick of everything." exclusive club. The only thing we can do is laugh about it for now and surround ourselves with people that have common sense. Also, those Card Prison binders look mighty sweet my dude! 👌
It is a self-correcting problem. The scalpers buy them, list them at inflated prices, get stuck with them. Nothing will change until the market stops paying the inflated prices.
I’m from Chicago so I definitely won’t be going out for the Black Friday deals. People out here will go to extremes to get what they want and I don’t want to get caught in that mess
Do we even know if that Target allowed him to complete that transaction? They could have stopped him at the checkout, which is what I imagine happened (hopefully).. I wish we had more info on this situation, as I've heard that many Targets already do have a buy limit set up.
Target should have a limit for sure! And some continuity across the stores. I tried too hard to get some of the discounted ETBs and they were never offered at my Target in the end. Very frustrating experience
It's a stupid situation that we have to deal with, but we deal with scalpers all the time and this is nothing new. That solution that you've stated would definetly work as it has in the past. If the problem spreads past Target, implemementing the same solution in those brick and mortar locations would be beneficial. Tackling the online situation is another beast, but not impossible. We just need these companies to take a stand and implement tactics because before they know it it could damage people's views of those companies. Better they take a stand before people in the community try to take matters into their own hands. The chances of that going well are slight, yet not impossible.
Why would target do that? They don't give a sh!t, works for them having all the product go in one sale. Ethical business is extremely rare in todays world
Limit 2 per person or implement something similar to what retailers did in Japan during the 151 craze, remove the sealed wrapping at the checkout counter when someone purchases more than 2 sealed products.
When jp was booming I was buying english, now english is booming I'm buying jp with some s-chinese in between. There are alternatives for anyone feeling like it's too much rn
The country i live in all trading cards in all stores nationwide are behind counters and there are still plenty of products available including surging sparks etc... and if there is a line up kids generally get served first
It’s really not hard… simply put these specials behind the counter or at the customer service section and simply limit it to one item per customer. So that way everyone gets one.
I think limits would help a lot. Like with Costco and the tins. Some had a limit and some didn’t. Reminds me a lot of the GPU crisis. Retailers had to find new ways to beat scalpers and bots. The other part that the collecting community likes to ignore is not buying from scalpers or when it’s overpriced. Also super excited for both binders. Wife got me to get the black and white. Any recommendations for first time top loading buying? >.>
Target fix this problem 🤔 Yesterday target web site had a HUGE RESTOCK of those etb😂 Wave after wave was drop I easily grabbed what I wanted with no rush. I even checked the site 10 min later and etb were still available 🥴
I've shifted more to Yu-Gi-Oh! in the Scarlet & Violet era since I went hard on SwSh and got my Pokémon fill I've always collected Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! but go through cycles where I'm more focused on one than the other
The Pokemon hobby has around 40 to 50% of pokemon fans, rest are money fans. Really sad to see. The only solution is to print every single set to the ground, and limit purchases of each product to maximum 2. Also for preordering, set a strict authentication system so that bots get blocked from ordering massive amounts. This hobby is for fans and players, if you want quick cash go to crypto or stocks.
I'm going to give the benefit of a doubt and sat he is probably going to open it for Personal. I would if I got them that cheap, but then again I wouldn't run for freaking Pokémon cards so I stick to online😂😂😂 Got lucky on yesterday drop that happened, Brilly was S/O quick thou so I missed out on that
Could be, but seeing how disrepectful he was to the people around him, it didn't feel as though he was just wanting to rip open them for himself. I think its more likely he was intending to sell them, IMO
more roc uploads is the best christmas gift i could’ve asked for
You're my gift

Roc I grabbed three of the black card prison 2.0’s. Can’t wait to load them up!
Dude, you are the best 🫶😭

Most targets don't care unfortunately.
Scalpers: attack each other’s for 20$ Lost Origin ETBs at Target 💀
Me: buy 40$ Lost Origin ETBs at local Walmart ☺️
Pretty chill day when I there 😊
at least they aint going for the $40 etbs.... yet 😭
Target should have a limit for sure! And some continuity across the stores. I tried too hard to get some of the discounted ETBs and they were never offered at my Target in the end. Very frustrating experience
1:50 Wow, a UA-camr marketing a product I want that isn’t somehow $300+ shipping? I must be dreaming lol.

The IRS never forgets when idiots like this don’t pay taxes👀
Pizza emoji for the win
@@DamaCollectsCards but they sure do forget to pay them themselves… 🤣
6:04 I mean… maybe 47% but we took a major step in bringing back common sense earlier this month.
Why would target do that? They don't give a sh!t, works for them having all the product go in one sale. Ethical business is extremely rare in todays world

We Un-blur his face so that the people that know him can see and say what needs to be said
glad i got 3 lost origin and 3 astral radiance on the website from the comfort of my own home
When jp was booming I was buying english, now english is booming I'm buying jp with some s-chinese in between. There are alternatives for anyone feeling like it's too much rn
facts bro🙏
I didn’t think it could get worse but I’m legit surprised by this. How low can the bar go at this point
The country i live in all trading cards in all stores nationwide are behind counters and there are still plenty of products available including surging sparks etc... and if there is a line up kids generally get served first
That's good to hear
Cant wait to see what its like when prismatic evolutions comes out
It's not gonna be fun lol

Facts
Just tell people a storms coming and watch the toilet paper fly off the shelf 😂😂😂
Lmao so true
I agree, the solution has to come from the source
🤘🤘🐠🐠
Roc I said the same exact thing! As soon as I saw the first video! Easy fuckin fix!!
I just dont understand why the target etbs and the walmart tins werent limited. I see people in discord saying they bought 100+ tins from walmart.
craziness
pokemon should print this shit to oblivion

Common sense has truly disappeared in the U.S. Everyone’s so frickin’ spoiled now! Love the content, brotha’! ⚡️
Roc, NFTs proved to me that most people lack critical thinking.
This deal was made by a third party vendor that came in and put the display up
I ordered 200 of those boxes for my store. I am a greedy capitalist pig 🐽
😂
Yo Roc. What is your outro music?
Renai Circulation 🫡
@ thank you sir! 👌🏻
Target fix this problem 🤔 Yesterday target web site had a HUGE RESTOCK of those etb😂 Wave after wave was drop I easily grabbed what I wanted with no rush. I even checked the site 10 min later and etb were still available 🥴
Glad i dont collect anymore
The solution is obvious. Make Roc CEO of Pokemon!
Exactly
I've shifted more to Yu-Gi-Oh! in the Scarlet & Violet era since I went hard on SwSh and got my Pokémon fill I've always collected Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! but go through cycles where I'm more focused on one than the other
And I hope they pulled nothing but holo rares.😂
It’s sad but it seems the limits are going to need to be enforced again because scummy “entrepreneurs” are basing their efforts on Pokémon yet again
Oh! I have a solution, the problem is not a moral and legal one :v
Some people just need to grow up Christ shame on the mess ya getting very old
Put limits, it’s not that hard. Would’ve prevented the costco 151 mini tin situation and would’ve prevented this
exactly
How Do We Fix This Situation?
EASY! .. limit sales per customer , thanks bye! 😆
I don’t even blame the scalpers anymore. I blame the morons who keep buying . Thats the solution. Stop buying at dumb prices
I agree, but i feel there will always be people who are willing to do buy it. So you need to nip the root of the problem at the bud as they say
I have a solution to scalping. I skip the set. I did it in 2020 and I can do it again.
Weird as hell to see a grown man grab a giant display of Pokemon cards.

@RocSandy the dude is a total asshole regardless, you know he has been seeing himself online lol
