Mighty pokemon ended up being WAAAAY more exciting than I thought they would. It's literally just all stuff I already have, but there's something about a fully powered up high-IV pokemon appearing that just feels so good to catch. I was enjoying the novelty of it even more than the shinies during the event.
Every time one spawned my aunt and I would go "oooo big boy" The big boys was the best thing they could ever add. Esp as someone who doesn't have a lot of good mons due to living in the middle of literally nowhere, finding fully evolved, good IV mons that can be used in raids when I'm in the city is a lifesaver
Well hundos are more rare than shinies, so finally having good odds for some favorite mons is great. Can't wait to see if the event is annual, definitely in it for a new run.
I got 2 shiny mightys the first day one a 96 one a 98 the second day got 4 shiny mightys one a 96 the last 15 mins got a shundo mighty legit one of the best experiences I've had playing this game was this weekend, I was really sad to see my community's turn out, I will say tho if u didn't pay tomolay for raids and to get the ticket, this event was not fun at all for the free to play players other than the mighty spawns
Same! i was buzzing when I got home looking over the hundos I caught. And knowing you don't need to spend all that dust to power up and got some good XL candys. Loved it!
tbh… it wasn’t the greatest event ever…. but i‘ll miss the safari balls. would love to see the balls back even when they don’t have increased catch rates. i’m a dude who likes to use the color which fits the pokémon the best..

It kinda hurt watching him not use the safari balls because he was "saving" them. He didn't know he would get 20 per hour? I only had like 5 safari balls (tops) at a time. 😂 Wait, and he was saving them to catch the SHINIES? They don't run!! 😭
Here's a depressing story, A galarin articuno spawned next to me, right next to a poki sign surrounded with other useless pokemon, I panicked and clicked on the other pokemon and articuno ran away, 😞 but the first mighty pokemon i caught was a hundo pidgeot and the first dynamax raid i got shiny toxtricity. That was lucky
I had the articuno spawn inside a pokestop couldnt even click it, the week before i got a shiny moltres encounter and my game glitched out, niantic refused to compensate the loss haha
This was so stupid. We were in a community group of ober 100 people and the handful of people that didnt have the ticket couldn‘t get the Mighty pokemon and also had to use premier balls. In the time they were catching we slready did 2 more raids. Unfair as hell

i didnt purchase any ingame tickets but had a couple safari balls from pokestops and two mandatory event day researches and caught 3 mighty pokemon, a 3700 cp 98iv dragonite being my highlight.
bruh are you stupid? you need to spin a lot of pokestops to get safari balls, i got about 20-30 of them by doing it without tickets! You needed to choose wisely which pokemon are worth your safari ball and which raids do you want to focus on, for example if you had about 5 raid passes focus on one primal and if you have less focus on palkia, dialga and at least one snorlax, because it probably wont come back
So bad, i didnt have the ticket. The mighty pokemon and primal raids were really the ONLY good thing, and sometimes i didnt even have safari balls to catch the mighty pokemon. So yeah, almost completely unplayable for non-ticket buyers from my experience.
He's honestly the most uninformed and reckless in the actual mechanics of the game. Very oblivious to the content updates as he even can't recite the correct information when news drops about upcoming events in his videos. For being one of the biggest active PoGo content creators, he's a bit dense with gameplay. He's just a shiny hunter.
Didn't use it so I'm not sure on that. However, I do know that loading the game is an issue, at least by me. No matter what Wi-Fi network I use, game won't load.
Hot take but this event was one of THE best events we've had in the game so far with the Mighty Pokemons being the highlight (in my opinion). They basically gave us literally maxed out good IV pokemons for free, with the legacy moves unlocked and everything. I only grinded the event on Day 2 and went to my local park and managed to snag 5 DANG HUNDOS! And I'm not even counting the amount of 96% and 98%s that I got. I was extremely satisfied at the end of the event but also felt sad for the amount of mighty pokemons that ran away because I know for a fact that at least like 2 of them were hundos lol. At the end it makes me want to wish that niantic adds the mighty pokemon as their Permanent new variants of rare spawns that changes every season, because the thrill of encountering and catching them is so good.
Mighty Pokemon carried this event. Otherwise it felt like a raid weekend. Cool to get some shinies if you missed old events but nothing interesting for spawns imo. Praying Mighty Pokemon return for Unova tour or go fest
the game was SUPER glitchy during this event, had to constantly restart it because of many glitches causing the game to not work properly, BUT it was honestly SUPER exciting to do, I got 52 shinies in total, 2 of those were mighty pokemon (a pidgeot that was 98% and feraligatr), 3 were legendaries (groudon with the special background and dialga and palkia), and along with the shinies I got 6 total hundos (galvantula, scolipede, electivire, dragalge, venasaur AND mamoswine) and also managed to get my hands on my first ever gigantamax pokemon!! out of all of the events I had done in the past several years of having the game, this event BY FAR was my best and most favorite one ever, I hope that they do this again in the future!!
My sister and I didn't purchase the ticket and at first were a little bummed by the lack of balls but.. We decided to chuck what we had and ended up with a combined 54 mighties with just ultraballs/great balls. Her son even caught a 4k dragonite with a pokeball. I imagine ticket holders must have had a blast but we did too!
Anyone else doing Remote Raids and just get randomly disconnected and can’t catch the pokemon as the raid disappeared its so frustrating wasting money on nothing 😢
Happened 4 times to me, and support would only give me 1 raid pass back despite providing them the times of the errors. Niantic are profit driven and not customer focused.
As a person recently getting back into pokemon go at around level 33 this event hit the value was so worth it basically being able to stack your team with high Iv high cp pokemon this has to be the way events go from now on, also after watching this video I am now proud I got my shiny feraligator from the event
i got to waste half my golden razz berries on not catching this mighty Pokémon, even with excellent throws. my safari balls didn’t even catch the mighty Pokémon. not to mention not getting a single shiny
I got my first galarian bird (a 256cp Zapdos) on safari ball, and got a shiny pop pikachu, wich i guess will be one of rarest shiny pikachus cuz we got so few encounters and they only could be shiny on this event
Is it me or kyogre is impossible to catch ? I used all 10 balls with gold berries and excellent throws but he never stayed. Groudon is chill in comparaison. Also my first gigantomax toxtricity was a shiny😅 im finally lucky
Mighty pokemon were insane. I drove around several times that day, and got so many of them. Me and my father both got hundos, (he got a dragonite, I got a venasaur) and we called them “the big guys”. Lots of memories, definitely best event of all time.
I got 2 hundos (toxapex and electovire) and a shiny mighty pidgeot and around 18 shinies, including a rly high iv shiny dynamax toxtricity. Also i got a 98 rockstar pikachu. I bought the ticket, money well spent. I also got the bonus safari ball timed research, didnt need it. I had over 100 safari balls that i didnt use at the end of each day.
Best event imo because it actually felt exciting to encounter wild pokemon. It wasn't just raids and research it was actually going out and finding cool might pokemon in the wild

Caught 26 Shinies during this event. Got a Shiny RockStar Pikachu, a Helioptile, a Skrelp, Snorlax, Amped Toxtricity, and 4 Venipede just to name a few I was mainly after. I even got a Shiny XXL Mighty Poliwrath! (My only Shiny Mighty Pokémon of the event though...) Didn't get the Lowkey Toxtricity, Toxel, Pop Star Pikachu, Elektrike, Hisuian Voltorb, a 2nd Helioptile, and a 2nd Skrelp but I'm still happy with the results. This was basically a Global GO Fest In November/fall! ✨️🤘👨🎤🎸🎶
Finally bit the bullet and paid, ended up discarding like 50 safari balls at the end of each day regardless. Neither way was balanced the f2p needed to be like 30/day at least.
Day 1 I was pretty sad because I thought I was getting a single safari ball for the whole thing, when I noticed you could get them from pokestops everything was better. I built my strategy around getting the mighties, so going to the best pokestop place and grind all the balls I could and then walking to different places to use them on mighty pkmn. I got 12 over the whole event, one of them hundo and walked over 10 miles on the second day. 4 wild spawn shinies total, 1 remote raided dialga and palkia and 1 local raided snorlax
Yeah I just found a Galarian Moltres and used a golden razz safari ball and it immediately ran. This shit is so stupid. I’ve been playing for months using the daily incense every day and have encountered 2 legendary birds and both ran. They need to raise the catch rate to higher than dumb luck.
I have just recently joined Pokémon go and only joined 2 months ago. I focused Groudon on the weekend and after 33 raids I got my first legendary shiny. Amazing event.
i got 74 from this event, and from someone that got that many things I regret not doing was hunting for mighties on day one, they spawn very consistently but are spread out so walking in circles in a park the whole park for day 1 was only locked to like 2-3 spawns and in the contrast driving around I would get a mighty ever block. Sad I didnt find that out beforehand
Just a few minutes ago, I caught a Mighty Dragonite which had 98 IV and a CP of just a little under 4000. With a single catch, it became one of the best Pokemon I've ever caught in my 8 years of playing the game.
Played from home both days due to horrendous weather here in the UK, so no safari balls. Did catch a couple of mighty pokemon and two shinies in raids. Couldn't shiny hunt as no ticket and I so wanted shiny pop and rock pikachu, but nevermind, not to be. Grateful for the no remote raid limit and the new raid feature of being able to jump into friends' raids so I was able to get several toxtricity, although still no gigantamax as no one raiding at the spot where i was. Here's hoping for better weather next time so i can get out there and play properly again.
this event was great for me I got a ton of shinies and hundos. Definitely a few highlights for me was a Shiny popstar pikachu from the research and a shiny mighty gyarados
I caught 12+ dragonite, 15+ mamoswine (1 shiny) and a hundo gyarados. Two other hundos for the other mighty's but those 3 were the most impressive ones. Also got all the shinies except for Skorupi and Joltik. Literally best event ever!!
I think it was a really good event. I don't like that the Safari Ball Pokémon can't be transferred to Home, but I DID like the effortless way they caught Pokémon. I also didn't care for an entire weekend of Poison and Electric Pokémon. I caught almost everything I wanted, and I'm satisfied with that.
I REALLY hope that they do Mighty Pokemon in the future. They were by FAR the best part of the event. The shiny rates did seem a little low, like others have noted, but I can tack that up to RNG. I got a single Shiny Snorlax with the jacket, so I'm happy.
This event was overall a good experience for ticket holders only, i liked this event but i also hate it for being literally p2w, i hope they make an event where its not as bad as this
I was so lucky because I got the shiny snorlax on the second raid I did. I had no idea how hard it was to get! Mystic took so many raids to get it. For a non-paid player it was so hard to get safari balls and I had to use around 35 ultra balls and 3 safari balls to get the two mighty electivires I got. I missed about 7 or 8 other mighty Pokemon. It was fun to get toxtricity from the raids though! The new Pokemon drop was good. The mighty Pokemon were fun. The spawns were really bad and it was hard to get the safari balls if you didn’t spend money. Overall, good for my first experience. I didn’t spend too much time and got two shinies including the jacket snorlax. I also got a hundo voltorb from field research! The field research was really good actually
Man it’s been a while since I’ve played and I picked it back up just in time for this event. Also haven’t watched really any pogo videos lately and it was cool seeing Nick and you again obviously the others too but I watched pretty much exclusively you and Nick during my peak PoGo adventures
Figure the odds....? One of the people in our group caught the, Shiny, Hundo, Toxtricity, Laid Back version, with the special background! It was sick! I tried to get her to tag Mystic7 but she wouldn't...
I completely agree this event was overwhelming - I couldn’t really focus on anyone aspect. I did decide to grind the Snorlax the last few hours to no luck. Got a couple high IV shiny mightys but idk. If I had gotten lucky on the shiny Snorlax it would have been a dub. But man it was overwhelming idk 😅
I got the Shiny Event Snorlax off my first raid with 15-11-15 stats. Also got the Shiny for Toxtricity. Only other Shiny was a Qwilfish. For Mighty spawns, I got XXL Tyrantrum, and a XXL Golem over a meter and 300kgs bigger than my record. Pop Star and Rock star Pikachus weren't shiny. Event was a bit mid, the shiny rate wasn't high enough, so no Shiny Bulba for me...
My experience feels like a completely different event! Even with Golden Razzes, all but ONE of the "Mighties" jumped out. Caught a couple with Ultra balls, but the safari balls were useless! I also didn't see any variety. Almost all were Pidgeot, Luxray, and friggin Poliwrath. No shinies anywhere. For me, Snorlax raids and the ability to join friend's raids without invites were the best parts. I thought overall there was nothing to do, and the 10k eggs to get the new Pokemon was horrible.
I went to my first campfire meetup, and it was fun seen all these people playing POGO, I'm a returning player and I thought the game was dead in my city
I got a shiny Pikachu Pop Star and the shiny Dynamax Toxtricity (Amped form) on the special researches, but beyond those, the shiny rates were terrible; I got a shiny helioptile and ventipede and I played for a combined 6hrs. between the two days.

Anyone else doing Remote Raids and just get randomly disconnected and can’t catch the pokemon as the raid disappeared its so frustrating wasting money on nothing 😢
Open a ticket. They usually give a pass back. Not sure if it would be remote or normal, though.

Happened 4 times to me, and support would only give me 1 raid pass back despite providing them the times of the errors. Niantic are profit driven and not customer focused.
As a person recently getting back into pokemon go at around level 33 this event hit the value was so worth it basically being able to stack your team with high Iv high cp pokemon this has to be the way events go from now on, also after watching this video I am now proud I got my shiny feraligator from the event

I got my first galarian bird (a 256cp Zapdos) on safari ball, and got a shiny pop pikachu, wich i guess will be one of rarest shiny pikachus cuz we got so few encounters and they only could be shiny on this event
Is it me or kyogre is impossible to catch ? I used all 10 balls with gold berries and excellent throws but he never stayed. Groudon is chill in comparaison. Also my first gigantomax toxtricity was a shiny😅 im finally lucky

Mighty pokemon were insane. I drove around several times that day, and got so many of them. Me and my father both got hundos, (he got a dragonite, I got a venasaur) and we called them “the big guys”. Lots of memories, definitely best event of all time.

I got 2 hundos (toxapex and electovire) and a shiny mighty pidgeot and around 18 shinies, including a rly high iv shiny dynamax toxtricity. Also i got a 98 rockstar pikachu. I bought the ticket, money well spent. I also got the bonus safari ball timed research, didnt need it. I had over 100 safari balls that i didnt use at the end of each day.
It was a soooo cool event with many hundos. The mighty pokemon were great
this event gave me the most shinys i have ever got in a day ever i ended up getting 35 shinys with one being a dynamax and a mighty 98 tyrantrum
Best event imo because it actually felt exciting to encounter wild pokemon. It wasn't just raids and research it was actually going out and finding cool might pokemon in the wild
I played the first day without ticket and had almost no safari balls and it was like the worst event ever because everything fleed!!
On the second day I bought the ticket and somehow had the greatest time ever

Caught 26 Shinies during this event. Got a Shiny RockStar Pikachu, a Helioptile, a Skrelp, Snorlax, Amped Toxtricity, and 4 Venipede just to name a few I was mainly after. I even got a Shiny XXL Mighty Poliwrath! (My only Shiny Mighty Pokémon of the event though...)
Didn't get the Lowkey Toxtricity, Toxel, Pop Star Pikachu, Elektrike, Hisuian Voltorb, a 2nd Helioptile, and a 2nd Skrelp but I'm still happy with the results. This was basically a Global GO Fest In November/fall! ✨️🤘👨🎤🎸🎶

Finally bit the bullet and paid, ended up discarding like 50 safari balls at the end of each day regardless. Neither way was balanced the f2p needed to be like 30/day at least.
Day 1 I was pretty sad because I thought I was getting a single safari ball for the whole thing, when I noticed you could get them from pokestops everything was better. I built my strategy around getting the mighties, so going to the best pokestop place and grind all the balls I could and then walking to different places to use them on mighty pkmn. I got 12 over the whole event, one of them hundo and walked over 10 miles on the second day. 4 wild spawn shinies total, 1 remote raided dialga and palkia and 1 local raided snorlax

Yeah I just found a Galarian Moltres and used a golden razz safari ball and it immediately ran. This shit is so stupid. I’ve been playing for months using the daily incense every day and have encountered 2 legendary birds and both ran. They need to raise the catch rate to higher than dumb luck.
The first Mighty Pokémon I was able to catch was a hundo Luxray 😁
I have just recently joined Pokémon go and only joined 2 months ago. I focused Groudon on the weekend and after 33 raids I got my first legendary shiny. Amazing event.
i got 74 from this event, and from someone that got that many things I regret not doing was hunting for mighties on day one, they spawn very consistently but are spread out so walking in circles in a park the whole park for day 1 was only locked to like 2-3 spawns and in the contrast driving around I would get a mighty ever block. Sad I didnt find that out beforehand

Just a few minutes ago, I caught a Mighty Dragonite which had 98 IV and a CP of just a little under 4000. With a single catch, it became one of the best Pokemon I've ever caught in my 8 years of playing the game.

Played from home both days due to horrendous weather here in the UK, so no safari balls. Did catch a couple of mighty pokemon and two shinies in raids. Couldn't shiny hunt as no ticket and I so wanted shiny pop and rock pikachu, but nevermind, not to be. Grateful for the no remote raid limit and the new raid feature of being able to jump into friends' raids so I was able to get several toxtricity, although still no gigantamax as no one raiding at the spot where i was. Here's hoping for better weather next time so i can get out there and play properly again.
Kinda realising now that getting a shundo Gyrados on the daily incense was definitely something I didn’t expect. Especially being my first shundo 🎉
this event was great for me I got a ton of shinies and hundos. Definitely a few highlights for me was a Shiny popstar pikachu from the research and a shiny mighty gyarados
I caught 12+ dragonite, 15+ mamoswine (1 shiny) and a hundo gyarados. Two other hundos for the other mighty's but those 3 were the most impressive ones. Also got all the shinies except for Skorupi and Joltik. Literally best event ever!!
I think it was a really good event. I don't like that the Safari Ball Pokémon can't be transferred to Home, but I DID like the effortless way they caught Pokémon. I also didn't care for an entire weekend of Poison and Electric Pokémon. I caught almost everything I wanted, and I'm satisfied with that.

I REALLY hope that they do Mighty Pokemon in the future. They were by FAR the best part of the event. The shiny rates did seem a little low, like others have noted, but I can tack that up to RNG. I got a single Shiny Snorlax with the jacket, so I'm happy.
This event was OP asf, literally got 10 Dragonites all 3800+ CP and 95 IV’s plus on all and that was just for the second day for dragonites
This event was overall a good experience for ticket holders only, i liked this event but i also hate it for being literally p2w, i hope they make an event where its not as bad as this

I was so lucky because I got the shiny snorlax on the second raid I did. I had no idea how hard it was to get! Mystic took so many raids to get it.
For a non-paid player it was so hard to get safari balls and I had to use around 35 ultra balls and 3 safari balls to get the two mighty electivires I got. I missed about 7 or 8 other mighty Pokemon. It was fun to get toxtricity from the raids though!
The new Pokemon drop was good. The mighty Pokemon were fun. The spawns were really bad and it was hard to get the safari balls if you didn’t spend money. Overall, good for my first experience. I didn’t spend too much time and got two shinies including the jacket snorlax. I also got a hundo voltorb from field research!

I completely agree this event was overwhelming - I couldn’t really focus on anyone aspect. I did decide to grind the Snorlax the last few hours to no luck. Got a couple high IV shiny mightys but idk. If I had gotten lucky on the shiny Snorlax it would have been a dub. But man it was overwhelming idk 😅

This event was crazy. I didn't get any shiny mighties, but I did get a hundo Golem. I also Go Plussed 3 or four shinies both days, absolute insanity

I got the Shiny Event Snorlax off my first raid with 15-11-15 stats. Also got the Shiny for Toxtricity. Only other Shiny was a Qwilfish. For Mighty spawns, I got XXL Tyrantrum, and a XXL Golem over a meter and 300kgs bigger than my record. Pop Star and Rock star Pikachus weren't shiny. Event was a bit mid, the shiny rate wasn't high enough, so no Shiny Bulba for me...

I caught 3 galarian birds and a couple mighty Pokémon with 1 incense today. I used Roar of Time so the duration was increased for about an hour
My experience feels like a completely different event! Even with Golden Razzes, all but ONE of the "Mighties" jumped out. Caught a couple with Ultra balls, but the safari balls were useless! I also didn't see any variety. Almost all were Pidgeot, Luxray, and friggin Poliwrath. No shinies anywhere. For me, Snorlax raids and the ability to join friend's raids without invites were the best parts. I thought overall there was nothing to do, and the 10k eggs to get the new Pokemon was horrible.
This event in theory was cool but if you either:
-play in an area with no pogo players
-did not have a ticket

I went to my first campfire meetup, and it was fun seen all these people playing POGO, I'm a returning player and I thought the game was dead in my city
I got a shiny Pikachu Pop Star and the shiny Dynamax Toxtricity (Amped form) on the special researches, but beyond those, the shiny rates were terrible; I got a shiny helioptile and ventipede and I played for a combined 6hrs. between the two days.
I got a 4000 cp 90% dragonite out of the wild without using the special wild ball, took 4 excellent throws in a row + 4 golden razz + 4 ultra balls
I got both catch card toxicity, and I only have one each lol, got insanely lucky on those the first day
