Without saying too much, because i was told not to. There's extreme amounts of evidence to point toward one person who was involved. That's all i can say 👀
It’s bad enough having THAT much money taken from you at gunpoint, but a collection, something that takes serious time to source or grade, and the sentimental attachment to it, that’s a whole new level of heartbreak…
My store was rob. They took $58,000 in value (I paid $55,000 for everything, we pay the most in my state) often Pokemon. Cops have their name, they just refuse to go arrest them
One reason I’m not huge on social media I feel like it draws attention to yourself but also you gotta be a lot more careful nowadays ppl do crazy things for money
Who ever did it will definitely crack them and resubmit them…Grading companies need to keep a watch out for recent Moonbreon submissions in different languages and if they trace them all to the same address or city then you’ll most likely find the culprit
It’s a horrible incident, but come on man… people get robbed over pocket change. If you’re planning on doing a sale like this contact your local authority and ask if you can make the sale at their offices. I know my local PD will allow it. If the buyer refuses, ask yourself why.
@ that’s fine that he wants to but it’s just a tragedy. Honestly the more this happens to people or people hear about instances like this, it makes them want to either abandon the hobby or not enter at all. It’s just sad.
I think it's very kind of them to know they can comfortable reach out to you and help them attempt to spread the word. Very sad to hear this news about their Multilingual collection and I hope this helps them find it. On a side note, brother, clean your damn inbox!
Dang its starting to get crazy. With the people taking all the products. The card stores getting broken in to. Whats next robbing vendors at shows they carrying tons of cash and money in products. Stay safe guys getting deep.
That's a super sad and messed up one for sure. I wonder if it was a kind of inside job (not pointing the finger to the store or anything) but I wonder if the unfortunate victim maybe posted something or shared too much info. I say that because while people do get held up wayyy too often this does seem rather convenient for the thief and I'm sure some low-life's stalk people with valuables and money and maybe the victim excitedly shared where they were buying this or something and the guy took advantage of that. I dunno it could all very well just be terrible luck of being at the wrong place at the wrong time or something but also do think some folks are also not being careful enough with what they post on social media especially when it comes to valuables and money and personal info. In no way am I trying to victim blame the victim at all because in no way does anyone deserve that. Good on you for bringing attention to this though as I sincerely hope that the scumbag gets caught cuz theft by itself is wrong but when you start pulling guns on people that's a whole another level of scum that needs to be off the street. So I really hope this scumbag gets caught and the victim gets some justice
This guy had these listed on ebay at one point thats crazy cuz im very familiar with this collection it was one i was watching because it is an insane collection and one i wouldn't mind owning myself but not by gun point geez thats crazy shit!
That is kinda crazy someone obviously knew he was going to be pulling up there. Im sorry but when i go to a card store nobody knows im going why im there etc etc
Also, he brought this entire collection just to pick another one up? Idk it's crazy that my collection is worth around 20k. I've never posted a single card on social but yeah idk hope he find these
Must been a inside job how would that person know they had all those with them and only way I would carry all those is if I was selling them Portland is a pretty sus city got be careful out there I was in that city last couple days for work I seen some crazy stuff
🫡 Thanks for covering, shitty situation! As a broke, desperate asshole can confirm there are even bigger assholes in even less favorable circumstances out there.
Damn. This is so fucked. It hurts to know this happens to people. Hope the cards are returned to their rightful owner! Typically throw a Gun Roc up on my comment. Seems inappropriate at the moment. Love you Roc. Spread the word.

It truly is heartbreaking
Law enforcement/Poke Collector here. Trust me I’ve seen a lot worse for a lot less. It’s extremely sad. Ignorance is bliss.

Jesus thats absolutely nuts

Be careful in portland and seattle.... there's some unsavory people there.

That hurts I can’t believe this. I keep my stuff at home but now I won’t be taking my collection out.
Got more info. It looks like he was trying to Sell his collection. Either way, really unfortunate

That is so sad honestly, hopefully the cert numbers are spread around in the community.

This is extremely sad and really fked up and it being multi-language grind is a hard and rewarding to finish
People are the worst.
I was working in Portland yesterday and live in Washington this is sickening to hear from my local area
That's a super sad and messed up one for sure.

It could very well be so yes. Unfortunately we just don't have any concrete evidence yet
For sure
"Inside job" 🤡 its not like the guy who got these stolen is gonna get a insurance claim or anything out of it
