Hello family,
Long story:
I'm sorry you had to go through that as children. I am American. My mom taught me to love Africa and Africans because that is where we are from originally. Our immediate ancestors were enslaved Africans and our culture comes from Africa. She would show us how things started there and how it changed due to the circumstances we were in as Africans forced to be in America.
Most Black Americans were not taught our history and heritage nor were we taught to be proud of being Black at a young age. Colorism is so deep in us because whiteness is like currency. I love being Black and I love that you two beautiful dark skin people are in love with yourselves and each other.
Found you in the comments on The Ellises. I will definitely subscribe and support your journey!
That's amazing that your mom taught you that! It's so important to have knowledge of our history. I think it's with this sort of teaching and education that we pass through our family generations that we'll learn to love ourselves, our history and more. Thank you for your joining our journey and supporting!! 🥰
Hi family,
Okay, we need to pull up at yall house. This looks delicious. People can be so cruel and childish. I have Nigerian in my blood. So we all lit!! We love you guys!
Pull up, The food was bussin 😂
Found you from Dom and Naka, you guys have a great chemistry.
I never get it why even us Africans be bullying each because of skin color instead of loving our themselves.
We’re black and we should embrace that 🙌🙌
I don’t get it either! Being Black is AMAZING. And thank you! 🤗
🥰🥰🥰🥰
🥰
Your black is beautiful. I was also teased for darker skin growing up and had to learn that truth. The journey of self discovery is a journey of self love. 🖤
It’s a very important truth too! Love that line ✨
I love you guys 💚
We ❤️ you too! ☺️
What are you seriously Malian??? Omg so am I Fanta. Do you speak Bambara/Jula/Mande?
Love the nails by the way.
Yes I am and yes I do! 💃🏾 🇲🇱 Do you?
Thank you! ☺️
@@FantaandDarwin yes I do 😄
Its crazy how rude kids can be.Although Zimbabwe is majority filled with black people you'd think there would'nt be colourists but alas they are. yeah Fanta you're right about lighter skinned black people being favoured! im sorry you hated your skin tone you shouldnt have, your skin is beautiful and Melanin is bae!!
Bullying is real! & colorist are always lurking. It’s up to us as individuals to recognize our own beauty & not let society brainwash us. It’s really crazy/sad to think your OWN people judge you when they look just like you 🤦🏾♀️
Thank you! Yours too! Our black is beautiful ❤️🙌🏾
@@FantaandDarwin its the worst thing,i pray for change everyday.
Thank you!
