I cannot believe that 3 viewers disliked this Bobby Vee performance as of June 2013. Bobby has always been the consummate performer and musician since WAY BACK WHEN! Oddly, he struggles to reach some top notes but then does a fantastic doowop falsetto directly from the ending of The Heartbeats' "A Thousand Miles Away"!
Lovely songs bring back good memories. The love of my life died in2016 June.and you died in October 2016. I still miss my husband .we loved all his songs.i miss you too bobby my favourite singer of the sixties.xx
Loved the expression and the pointing when he sang, "I know she'd never be with you!" He never seemed to tire of singing his hits for us. He loved those great songs, too. The 14 yo girl that I was in '61 was swept by him and "Run to Him." 💗 I'll never tire of that gem. And I know I'm not alone. P.S. Heard that Bob Dylan worked with Bobby's band while getting started...before he called himself Bob Dylan.
I’d like to say something bout My. Friend. He. Rocked at the age of 15 He. Rocked. Yesterday. And you know He will. Rock. Tomorrow. 7/ 19/ 2020. “Bobby. Vee’s” Music will live 4. Ever🙏🙏🎵
Wow! Bobby Vee today! He's great! Love seeing the idols of my childhood recreating that goodtime rock 'n' roll we all remember. This was a smash for Bobby and remains a classic today. I dig his funny, little ending riff at the end of the song. Thanks for sharing this with us all. I'd love to hear him sing "Rubber Ball." - JG (Elvis song singer, but not an ETA) @ CBSEye
