- Keanu Reeves has been an on-screen juggernaut with iconic performances in The Matrix movie franchise and John Wick.
However, his red-carpet presence - in which he often appears with people he's explicitly not dating - doesn’t seem to match his on-screen success. Or does it? Reeves finally graced a red carpet with an actual date on his arm, appearing at the 2019 LACMA Art + Film Gala with his girlfriend Alexandra Grant.

He gains the respect and love of everyone around him, it seems. It's weird. In society, nice guys finish last. But when people see Keanu, they realize how important it is to have good people like him. People need to appreciate the good guys more often.

I hear He's the nicest guy in Hollywood, and it doesn't surprise me. A friend and colleague of mine dated him in High School, and he STILL keeps in touch with her! She says all the rumours are true-unpretentious, warm, and kind. Also quite intelligent and cultured. Sounds like a true Unicorn!

I had the wonderful chance to meet Keanu while he was in town, New Milford, CT, while filming, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. I was the only one around. As long as I was quiet, I could stay on the set. After Keanu was done shooting, he showed me how some of the filming equipment worked. WOW!!! It was a 👍 Grrreat day!!
Met him too earlier days a few times, same soul same beat just calmer and secure 👍
Keanu was a nice guy. He didn't have to stay and sign autographs. New Milford, CT is a hot spit for filming on location. Our town was the small town in Mr. Deeds. Winona Ryder had been here twice. She refused to sign autographs, just walked away. Didn't want to be bothered. Adam Sandler took the extra time to meet everyone after filming. I guess not every actor is as nice as Keanu.

When you have been through major grief in life, there are two major ways I have seen people deal with it. With grace and poise and grow from the experience or involve that growth in yourself. Or deny the grief and try to reduce the pain by ignoring reality and trying to continue without identifying that the loss occurred and has changed who you are. This also includes unhealthy coping strategies. I definitely like Keanu and who is is as a person and allows people to be themselves around him
@Keanu ReevesThank you for replying. Originally we are from Nova Scotia (Cape Breton) but we were posted with the military to Edmonton. This is where I retired and stayed as a family. I have always been a fan of anyone that is sincere and honest with themselves and others, especially one that has gone through as much as you have. I think there is enough anger in the world and grief tends to bring anger with it. But to tend this towards help and emotional progression is very rare and should be honoured.
With all my tours and personal experiences, I have learned so much personally that I wish I could help more people than i have managed so far. I only hope that in the future I can help more.
