You are just so talented! I especially loved your depiction of rain in the Pig horror picture. The Year of Witches images were my favorite. Very lovely!
You should! It's a lovely book, it's just made really poorly so I definitely suggest scanning and reprinting it (for personal use ofc, as is compliant with purchase....) if you have any paper biases at all. I certainly do hahahhahaha! Thank you for watching
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked both, since they're such disparate images I kinda think "well, if someone hates this theme, they might like this" but ofc I like them both so it's nice to share that. I'm born in late June, so I'm a summer baby too, just over the edge of the solstice, but ick ick ick to the heat and sun!
Thanks for showing your pretty pictures and I enjoyed listening to your comments! I don’t like the hot weather either and I also agree that it’s no fun - just tons of wasted time - to color on horrible Amazon paper. Which paper do you use? I’m strongly considering getting some good paper ( but have no idea which brand) so I can finally get more use out of the few Amazon books that I have. Happy coloring 👍🏾😎!
Hiya! Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed :) I use Copic XPress It blending card. I've used it for years and mostly learned how to use my copics on it from the beginning so I'm pretty familiar with it. Good paper is going to depend on your medium of choice, but sometimes your colouring style as well. If you're a mixed media person, liking to use water and pencil and paint, you'd do better with different paper than a person that just uses dry pencil, for instance. Knowing what you'll use and how you colour should help in the googling process. :)
Your pages are gorgeous. I really love the ones from the Uusikuu books. I'm thinking about copying those onto better paper myself. With the line art style, it would be hard to use marker on the Amazon paper without a lot of bleeding and I don't really like pencils on that paper either.
Thank you! I think you should, the paper was so disappointing for such a cute book, it really deserved better. Everything's getting more expensive, but oof that one and the Mythogoria I was legit surprised at the quality.
Your pages are stunning! I love especially the one you added the gate and pumpkins. Could you tell me which printer you use to print your pages? The one I have the paper always comes curled, and I couldn't help but notice how your page is pristine flat! 😂😍❤
Thank you! I'm glad you like my work :) Um, I use a Epson ET-3760, but I've never heard of the problem you're having happening. That's very strange. I've used many printers over the years and even when the printers flip the paper it'll be straight when done printing. Paper has no memory, though, I bet you could flatten things quite nicely with either an iron or a laminating machine if you have one. They're quite cheap, much cheaper than my printer in fact.
@@AerynKDesigns Thank you! I have a Brother HLL2320D. It seems that it's a problem with laser printers. I searched about it and found that the laser printer have to heat the paper in order to print the toner, so it causes to the paper (mainly thick ones) to curl up a bit. I do manage to flatten them like 80-90%, but they never get totally flat ever again. I think it's because I like to use thick papers, idk really. But thank you for answering me. I will take a look on the laminating machine to see if I'd enjoy using it.
Ah, yeah I don't have any experience with laser printers as toner and copics are non compliant with each other. My paper's 250gsm so I'm used to the thickness which always seems to be right on the edge of "working and not getting stuck in the printer rollers" which I'm sure helps keep things straight too. I hope you find something that works out for you!
I can’t wait for the fall either! Your finished pages are beautiful!!
Thank you so much! Yessss, fall time needs to come soon!!
Your Finished Pictures are Absolutely Beautiful 💜 Thank You so much for Sharing 💜
Thank you! I'm so glad you like them :)
