- In this video Pete takes down one of the most loved aquascapes at Riverwood Aquatics and relocates it to his home aquarium. A step by step guide to setting up a beautiful, naturalistic aquarium.
All equipment and plants sourced from riverwoodaquatics.co.uk
Equipment used:
Aquarium: Wio Vistas 150p
Lighting: Chihiros VIVD2 RGB
Filtration: Oase Biomaster Thermo 850
Hardscape: Scottish Boulders, Scottish River Stones, Dennerle Rio Xingu
Substrate: Alfa Grog, Aquael Natural Sand, Tropica Aquarium Soil
Plants: Cryptocoryne retrospiralis, Cyperus helferi, Juncus repens, Philodenron sp. Papa New Guinea.
I love riverscapes over all else but sadly no boulders in my country and finding such beautiful ones from Scotland requires travel there and take some and oh they have the most beautiful beaches and rocks there to gaze at in any tank for I love being there
Beautiful tank. I would hopefully, one day, have something like this myself. Definitely look forward to any updates.
Fantastic Pete. Given me inspiration to revisit this style. I'll be sure to give you a shoutout 👍
Thanks so much dude, really appreciate that 🙏
I love a river bed style scape and this looks epic! Those boulders are amazing, Can’t wait to see it grown in!
Thanks so much! Glad you like it 😊
Nice!😊

Both scapes look beautiful I actually prefer the latest scape to the shallow you can see so much more detail the plants swaying in the flow and the fish look like they’re enjoying they’re new home great work 🔥
Thank you very much. Really glad you like it. I must say I think I prefer this setup too 🙂

Great Video really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to see grow in!
Thank you very much. I'll be sure to keep the channel updated 🙏
I am so glad I got to see this scape in person! I need to come now and see this rescape!
Just subscribe, you have a gift for making these layouts! I was making one last night and really struggling with it lol. It looks gorgeous. Very natural and great use of stones. Good job!
Thank you very much, very kind. Hope you managed to get your scape looking just right 🙂
HOWDY from TEXAS !
I subscribed. what are the bright red fish ? they're awesome .
Howdy! Thank you for letting subscribing! The red fish are Rainbow Shiners 🙂
Bro easily made a contest level aquascape nd it's amazing ..
Neat tanks! What temp is the water as I am working on a stream tank and also want to
keep Hillstream Loaches
I’ll miss being able to see the hill stream scape in the shop, but I’m really glad it has a second life in your home! Excited to see what scapes you’ll come up with in the big revamp of the shop.
Thanks Jonathan. I'll miss it in the shop too. Thanks very much 😊
Yea 👍
🙏🙏🙂
Wonderful job - I love this riverscape.
Stellar! Looks great. What are the red fish?
Thank you very much! They're Shiners 😊
@@riverwoodaquatics7028 is it your light making them look that red? I've always seen them fire up in a more purple color.
@Trey Simmons the light certainly enhances the red, but they are a lovely colour anyway.
Man its going to be EPIC!
Thanks Tom!
Loved the store scape, really liking the home one more 👍
Thank you very much!
Can you show the flow and filter setup? Doesn't seem to have any real flow
The flow isn't overly strong for this kind of setup. The Oase Biomaster 850 is on a spray bar. I may end up adding a wave maker but will see how they get on like this. So far so good 🙂
❤ inspiration..
Thank you 😊
Very nice. More Videos are really appreciated
Thank you! I plan on doing more videos 🙂
