- In this installment in our Isuzu Amigo versus 2021 Ford Bronco build series we compare the front and rear suspension design between the new Bronco and our Amigo, and begin to outline the plan for how we intend to build a rig that will compete with the Bronco at a significantly lower price.

I can't wait to see the progress on this build.
Subbed love this build idea keep up the good work !
Thanks! We appreciate it!
I’m late!!! But the amigo was marketed to have 8” of wheel travel both front and rear.
Sweet! Thanks for the info!
Can't wait for this build!
Thanks!!
This amigo is going to be awesome!! Be careful using too long a shock in the front. You can crack your power steering rack by drooping too far down. Also if you can find a bent arm upper link on the gas tank side you can flex the rear pretty far.
Thanks, Ian! I have been reading up on the steering rack damage caused by too much droop. Seems to be exacerbated by ball joint flips and spacers (or Calmini arms) along with front shocks that are too long? We just placed an order for some bent rear upper arms from OC Fabrication. We'll post up some photos on our Instagram account when they arrive.
Where can I buy an OEM hard top for my amigo?
Best bet is probably a junk yard, unless you want to drop a few thousand to order one from one of the online OEM Isuzu parts vendors.
My Isuzu’s transmission has been leaking from a plug on the side of the tranny. And ideas for what I could do. Idk what the part is called but it’s a round opening on the side and it’s probably about 2 inches around
check the planetisuzoo forums, on radare's "New" '01 Rodeo Sport thread, he has a similar issues near the end of his post, and he's very thorough with his notes.
Thanks, Hunter!
