Being a UA-cam creator is a scary thing to do, but one of the most fun. I'm 50 this year and have been doing my channel for slightly over a year, but I would totally recommend people to give it a go. Just be yourself, have fun, and be inspired by others. That's what I did...

Want to start now at 62 - but the cost of fuel putting us off. Wondering about getting an e-transit and converting it, but they’re still a bit expensive. As the delivery companies hand them back, when their lease comes to an end, it might be an option - they can do about 200 miles on a charge.

We watched your video last night and I didn't know whether to post this or not but here goes anyway. We have been subscribers for quite a while now and loved watching your channel grow. We subscribed because of your dynamic, your humour. You are real people sharing your ups and downs. We loved your foreign videos not because of where you went but because it was with Andy and Claire. We loved the setting up of the jokes, we loved the slick production. Please don't lose sight of that just to chase the numbers . People don't watch because of where you go, unless they are just channel hoppers, they watch because it's Andy and Claire. Please guys just be yourselves and do what you love doing. If you keep changing your format you are in danger of losing your core audience and you will just keep chasing the numbers. My advice is go back to your roots, let's see Claire's lovely smile and hear her lovely laugh, let's see the clever set ups and let's suffer Andy's terrible jokes again. It's what makes you being you.

You are doing great. We agree that age does not matter when thinking of starting a channel. Normal tv is dead, major films are awful yet we all need something to watch. UA-cam is the last bastion where people can watch real people talking about real life. UA-cam is incredibly rewarding but a huge amount of work. Most people give up. The stats can be a very demotivating part of the process until we twig that we just need to please ourselves as creators. We always strive to improve each video and just accept that some will do well and some will fail. As for the Trolls UA-cam pulled a masterstroke with the hide button 😁👍

I relate to the bit about the dislikes after 5 seconds of being published… we get 2 dislikes on every video, within the first 1-2 minutes of a 20+ min video 🤣.Always watch your videos- you’re both so natural 😁😍 x

Isn't it disappointing that people have to make horrid comments. We love watching you and only found this channel of yours after watching your motor bike channel. I honestly didn't appreciate the issues my hubby had when if got his first bike (Speed Triple at the age of 50 🤣) thank you for enlightening me on what he would have gone through from passing his CBT to getting his full licence. We love your humour and your little dogs too, thank you for sharing both channels with us. I am definitely going to watch your Italy tours as we hope to go there at some point.

I only discovered your channel a few months ago, the title was good enough to catch my attention, but not too 'clickbait' to put me off.
The reason I keep watching is because you're, as you say, a normal couple.
Your videos are down to earth, not full of drama. They show things that I would do, I like your sense of humour.
When I travel in my motorhome I write a post each day on Facebook, my audience is about 20 😂. I always aim to make it funny, my feedback seems to suggest that I do. I enjoy writing it, but sometimes it can be a bit of a burden, knowing people are waiting for it every day, and trying to keep it fresh but also familiar.
From the videos that I've watched of yours, you're getting it right. Fresh and familiar at the same time.

How Do, Andy and Claire ... I never noticed any slow down in the channel. Ive watched every video and pretty much commented on every one too. I love the humour in the channel. Its what makes it what it is. I love Andy's Biker of Atlantis too. TBH, 600 or 60,000 views, you never put less than 100% in. I love your confidence in doing a piece to camera. I dont have any so all my vids on mine are not me in front of the lens. I got given Doris the drone and did a few videos with her and a few voice overs. Loving your inside view of being content creators. It was very informative. Going out now to get a mask so I can go in front of camera🤣 anyhoo. I get the downside of negative comments, I run a business (nothing to do with UA-cam) which receives comments, the major majority are positive, but when you receive a negative one, it can be heartbreaking, unfortunately it broke me catastrophically, I no longer look at them. UA-camrs like yourselves have been my shut the world out and smile. Thank you
