Wow. This video makes me proud yet sad because I know our cultural traditions are slowly dying due to youth moving out of the cook Islands and living more western lifestyles. Thank you for making this beautiful video of my people. I appreciate this so much😌

Where’s this place I want to go?
This is a Pacific Island in Polynesia😊
Meitaki maata..
Meitaki maata 😁🙏
Cook Islander very close more to Tahitian more, they have 'stone marae' just like around French Polynesia, the architecture more closer to Tonga and Samoa right, did cook island have architecture like rest of Austronesia, maybe not advance like Javanese, Minangkababu and Malay 'Rumah Gadang', Balai adat Melayu', and Rumah Joglo Jawa' maybe something like 'Fijian Bure', Bure Kalou, Samoa Fale?
Thanks for the info 😁🙏 We hope you liked our exploration into the music of this wonderful island 😊
Hi have you been to Niue Island yet?
Not yet! Are we invited? :)
@@LaviandOllie
Sorry I live in New Zealand.
I've been dreaming about Niue since I was young bk in fiji, and I still didn't get there. Niue is a heavenly place so cool and relax. Even the hold cook island is just just so crystal from left to right. Amazing.

I am sorry, I visited Rarotonga this June and have not met anything like that! People are extremly nice, lovely and helpful, but to find something like dancing, singing etc.... not at all, I am sorry to say that!😊
We saw it in a bar and we went there to the Easter holidays so the whole island was in a nice mood 🤩
