Um technically, they can enter on suspicion of a crime being committed. Extrapolate it to say...they hear a child being beaten or someone being raped/murdered. Not defending them AT ALL. No one was in danger. But a real dickhead cop could have claimed that her yelling was a "domestic dusturbance in progress". And once they enter anything they *find incidentally* is fair game. When I was a kid they would enter claiming they smelled marijuana in the hall.😒😐Again they were as wrong as two left shoes. But, its important for *us* to know the law and our rights.

Even if it was domestic disturbance, they'd have to knock, ID themselves then ask occupant to come to door to answer questions. They are't allowed to cross threshold w/o warrant, permission, or belief someone's in danger.
That being said, I give cops credit for not making something up & for leaving as "requested".
