- Resin 3D flower coaster
I used Dalchem Crystal Clear resin to make this resin flower. I also used white Castin Craft and Le Rez pigment pastes and Pinata alcohol inks to create this 3D flowers.

I really liked the top before you unmolded it. Then, after, WOW! just beautiful! Love the dimension in the petals. The glitter is suspended throughout, not in a blob. This turned out great!!! Can't wait to see this resin in other colors, in other patterns. Love it, Julie! Thank you! Stay safe!

You’re absolutely correct. I have the same resin and it gets hot very quick. It’s good for things like pouring it with glitter but for other things like coasters with ink it is a bit dicey

It looks great! Perfect petals 💕. Aw, hope snipping the piping bags helped. I do it - no more ruined petals because of it dropping into my design. See how you go, but I may becable to recommend another resin to try. I'm testing it myself at the moment. My notebook looks like it belongs to a 'mad scientist' 🤣 x
Try to remember to torch your clear layer before you start adding your pretties. Might help with the bubbles. Andddddd look how your center didn't sink through, that's awesome. I really like the spikey look. Another beauty, missy!

Love the green! And resin that is art resin will always be a tiny bit bendy. It never hardens like countertop resins do. Hence the words countertop in the name of the resin.
So, it does look like this resin has a lot of air bubbles. Normally, that would be bad. But I think it really adds some cool texture to these pieces!
Oh Wow, I love this flower, not normally a green person but this one is amazing !!
Maybe this resin only needs to stand for 5 minutes before you start using it if its setting soo quickly.

Love it 😍 when your resin started to thicken up you can warm it a little bit to thinned down 😉
The warmer it is, the faster it sets :(

Beautiful work! I bet with a larger surface area and volume (like a serving tray) you could really get some stunning results with a cluster style flowering plant like wisteria or cherry blossom, do two layers of flowers and two layers of connecting vines/branches maybe?
