28:56 This is the moment I fuckin' fell in love with Saints Row. It's a gangbanger simulator that lives up to GTA, sure, but it goes well beyond that. It's got an emotional core, the characters aren't just two-dimensional idiots and they have *growth*, and the character was *yours* and not just a premade dude. It added a layer of investment by letting you self-insert, or, at the very least, design the Playa/Boss yourself, so it's still your creation doing all this shit. Sure, Saints Row: The Third and 4 are massive departures, and I'd rather see the style of 2 comeback. But Saints Row is still sick as fuck, start to finish.
Johnny Gats thought process seems like the formula for all the Saint rows games. I like how everyone in sr1 calls him out on it. In Saint rows 2 Playa is just as crazy as him
If he was the boss he will just make all of his recruits just attacking him then they will have the upper hand and kill all the recruits so then he will get killed by his enemy and that’s why the playa is the boss
@@saint- Did they patch SR2 on stream? Or Is there a patch or some shit for it? Cause it's a pain to switch game speed in cheat engine everytime you go in and out of cutscene=\
I'd say, that thing between Aisha and Johnny was true love. All the mess they did and all the little things they kept annoying each other with, but still sticking with each other. And especially Johnny's dark, intimidating rage after Aisha's death proves it
I never realised the bouquet Shogo cuts with his sword while killing Aisaha looks like the same than the one Johnny offered to her years ago... It took me long enough lol The scenarios of the first games were perfect ^^

I love the brother-like bond The Playa and Gat have, even after the years Playa was in a coma.
Johnny Gats thought process seems like the formula for all the Saint rows games. I like how everyone in sr1 calls him out on it. In Saint rows 2 Playa is just as crazy as him
Johnny really should've been the leader of the Saints
@Ambrose Contreras True
If he was the boss he will just make all of his recruits just attacking him then they will have the upper hand and kill all the recruits so then he will get killed by his enemy and that’s why the playa is the boss
Gat isn't really a leader type and I'm sure he wouldn't take that spot. He just got brain's and a kill frenzy
Gat and Boss are executed perfectly as warriors and leaders. Example - Belisarius and Justinian
This makes me want to play the original saints games
@@saint- Did they patch SR2 on stream? Or Is there a patch or some shit for it? Cause it's a pain to switch game speed in cheat engine everytime you go in and out of cutscene=\
@@Ann_Xileel there is a mod called gentleman of the row that fixes most issues and adds a bunch of cool stuff
I'd say, that thing between Aisha and Johnny was true love. All the mess they did and all the little things they kept annoying each other with, but still sticking with each other. And especially Johnny's dark, intimidating rage after Aisha's death proves it
Gat knows how to sing
Johnny roasting Tanya was the best 😂🤣

Volition: "Are you all hyped for the Saints Row Reboot?"

The Reboot sucks so much.
The Writing in the old Saint's Games were genuinely well written.
Saints Row Reboot ain't gonna be right without Johnny Gat and the rest of the original crew
The fact that Aiesha didn’t look concerned that Gat was there, it just shows she probably just knew that Gat was going to get out.
15:49 this part always cracks me up
Dr. Han fans unite!!
It sucks cause aisha didn't need to die, we know that he knew something was up.
I like how in this series you can keep playing the same main character as it were, feels like a more personal growth.
I never realised the bouquet Shogo cuts with his sword while killing Aisaha looks like the same than the one Johnny offered to her years ago... It took me long enough lol
The scenarios of the first games were perfect ^^
watching this after that ungodly trailer seems really sad now.
We are all grieving the loss of this once great franchise
Anyone else notice the flowers Gat give Aisha in SR1 are the same ones that fall to the floor during her death?
“I’m yellow enough as it is Dex.” I didn’t know what he meant til I found out that Jhonny Gat is Asian. Totally thought he was white the whole time.😂
same
Johnny is such a great character
Sr3 ain't the same without Johnny
Spolier alert
Same thing with Jackie in cyberpunk
He lost his neck tattoo

U know, I see it coming every time. But it's so funny every time
Nothing makes me laugh more than Pierce's reaction to "Unknown Accomplice"
This is why i love Gat, he maybe a blood thirsty killer, but even he as sweet side and cares for Isha and The Boss
30:21 Something about that scene in particular just makes me love it.
Hes the best character of all time 👑
Agreed
Amazing, enjoyed it from start to finish. Never heard of this game, but looks like a lot of fun
Looking back SR1 is really a golden game and jhonny is really cool and funny character.

When God told Johnny “he owe him”
And Johnny’s reaction was “My Guy, do you know who I am and what I did for a living?” That was the funniest scene in my opinion.
Saint Row 4 and GOOH Are Very Weird How the hell a gangster become a supranatural superhero powers
I mean it was just a simulation and gat literally went to hell, but i dont think a guy like him would need powers
@@clawzx1195 not when it comes to fighting aliens or demons but you gotta admit the flying around is handy :) driving in hell is dangerous XD
it was so fun

Akuji’s punch was more like a baby punch while Gat was knocking him down and breaking his bones!
