Thank you so much for showing us a new place to visit in Edinburgh. Just another reason to come back. It is a beautiful place for sure. Love how they have it set up for tours. Great job Broonfords!!
Holyrood is a great wee distillery. I visited about 2 weeks before they started producing their whisky. It's a great experience and worth the visit. Glad you guys enjoyed it too!
Interesting video! I like to see u together, nice couple. Kirsteen is so beautiful! Tony u are a lucky man. Keep on making this great job 🏴 Congrats 🎄🎄🎄
Fantastic guys looks like you had a fun tour, hope yous are having a lovely festive period, thanks for uploading, looking forward to trying some of these in the future.
Excellent video, Guys. Yay, a new whisky being made in Edinburgh. Cannae wait for it to hit the market, hope it comes to the American 'Colony'. Slàinte
Thanks for doing a distillery Broonys! Whisky is what brought me to Scotland! This was interesting; Maybe you could do Brewdogs brewery someday.Cheers!
Another great video, and two in a row with your better half! Thanks again for the time and energy that the two of you put into these videos. Greatly appreciated.
I have never tried gin or whisky. I think I will add this to our must do list. I love the fact the a distillery was part of your high school education!!🤩 Thank you both for the very interesting tour!! Happy New Year!💙🇺🇸🏴💙
Thanks for the heads up. Hadn't seen anything about it before but as we are in Edinburgh the weekend after you posted the video we thought we'd pop along for a look. Rather than doing the general tour we thought we'd do the whisky tour. Douglas was a great guide. Very informative and made it a fun visit especially with getting to try a few samples. It's well worth visiting and the next time we're up there we'll do the gin tour as that looked like it was more hands on.
Such fun. Love it’s two for one: gin & whisky. Something else to add to my to-do list when I visit next. Thanks for another wonderful video, nice seeing Kirsten again in back to back vids 🙂
If I'm not mistaken, that place used to be 'The Engine Shed'...a nice cheap and cheerful place to eat🤔 That whole area...St Leonard's...was where I played as a kid....I remember there was a derelict school (now site of Police Station) and Alfie's Wood Yard (now flats) 😀
Something new to visit? Thank you both for this fascinating vid. I can almost keen the scent of whisky whilst watching. Must admit I always have a wee dram or two of Highland Park in the Whiski Bar when I'm up, but will give Holyrood a whirl? (I'm more a V&T woman. I know. Shameful.) Mother's Ruin gives me a bad head. Maybe it's the juniper..... Oh the horror! You have spelt whisky with an "e" in the description. Yes, I know. I'm being pedantic. 😆🙄 Slainte! 🥃 (Loving Vlogmas too.)
Hi Tony &Kersten. This looks so good ! When my sister and i where in Edinburgh we went to the Edinburgh gin tour that was brilliant and the wisky experience that i found a little in personal food and wisky where great but the tour felt a bit removed to me .we did both on the same day as it was my sister birthday that was a tipsy day .lol.
I’m not a whisky drinker at all but I think the process is really interesting, that much I can definitely appreciate. I’d have to be hitting the breweries and make homemade stout over there, if not sorting out the Guinness.
Hey Tony, great video. Our family are gin drinkers and we were looking to tour the other two while in Edinburgh this September. We had no idea this spirit was so popular in Scotland! 2 questions: What is the best wat to get to this distillery from the Royal Mile and 2: any idea of the proximity of the other two gin distilleries? I think we might mke a day of Gin tours!
I don’t much about gin. Is there much difference between gins? Seeing gin seems quite trendy at the moment. I remember back in the day it was an older person drink. Lol 😂 Am more into my whisky’s myself. There is so much to choose from.
I knew that you can drink gin without it having to mature for years in old barrels like we have to do with whisky. Puzzled the whisky on sale in the shop can’t be matured as it is a new distillery. ? Answer please. 👍
Harry C Day it’s the blended preview that I tried on the tour. It’s been made by the main team to give you an idea of what the finished sample will be like. All whisky brewers do it.
There is a leat 2 more gin distilery you can visit in edinburgh: - Edinburgh Gin (west end of Princes street) - Pickering's Gin (in Summerhal building) If anybody knows other gin distilery neaby I'd be interested
Great video.

Hi You both! Kirstin is funny! 😂 Careful with that drink, less. You'll forget another trip you went to! 😂

I remember walking past this place a couple of years back when it was just a run down factory next thing i know theres a full distillery there
I want to do this! Thanks!
Great video. Wish there was a tour from the Edinburgh gin distillery
Check this one out if you can. It’s good.
I went to distilleries in Islay like Bowmore. Very interesting. Never went to the Edinburgh distillery.

I've noticed that Kirsten doesn't have much of an accent.
Oh she is not happy with that, lol. Both Edinburgh born and breed.
