I'm visiting Edinburgh May 6-12 (from the US) and I’ve been really enjoying your videos. I’ve made note of several restaurants and coffee shops you’ve reviewed and now I’m going to add Holyrood Distillery to my must do list!

I asked after another video if you could talk about how to dress in various places. Here in the US we tend to be tee shirts or polos and jeans in most anywhere but formal dining. How about Scotland. Pubs, clubs and regular dining? Perhaps the subject for a video?

I've left you a reply on the original question when you first posted it! (went to check, just in case I never submitted it, but it's there waiting for you .) ) But a shortened version of the answer is basically "due to the rough weather, most people have high tolerance of practical clothing" - So unless you're off to somewhere fancy, you'll be good in jeans and sneakers, no worries!

I don’t care for whisky and I’ve never had gin but that’s a beautiful building it looks like time well spent.
Hi Simon in your cameo. Kat that color looks good on you.

Thank you Bernadette! I think they do a great job at making things interesting for non-drinkers too. I am not too big on whisky drinking myself but I do like the culture and the pride around its production. Plus everyone working here was SO NICE!
(And aubergine is my favourite colour!
